Technically no, it wasn't acknowledged by the IWGP upon the reunification, it's only acknowledged by Inoki Genome Federation's IWGP Third Belt committee

The wwe in 2006 was a bad year a lot of bad booking decisions were made back then. I wish wwe had brought back lesnar, goldberg, and the rock it would have improved a lot of things
The Shawn Michaels/Vince McMahon stuff was all great leading to HBK starting up DX again. That was the only good part of 2006.

What made 2006 a bad year for wwe was that extra ecw brand they created.

Hate to break it to whoever posted the video but Kurt never wrestled with Brock in NJPW. They wrestled for the IWGP Third Belt in IGF (Inoki Genome Federation).
but they needed to do it to crown a IWGP Heavyweight Champion as Brock basically threatened new japan to leave with the title and not come back so they had to do the angle match to get the title off him and Angle ended up putting over a much younger before the king of strong style Nakamura as Brock didn’t want to lose the title and he was getting payed massive amounts of money per match
so he asked them to get Kurt Angle hence the New Japan and TNA partnership at the time I’m not sure if this started it but it definitely helped
from a explaining brocks title run video I rewatched to tell you exactly what happened but this deal with New Japan was 50 grand per appearance and he had a his title run defending it against Nakamura,Aki Bono,Giant Bernard and was scheduled to defend against Hiroshi Tanahashi but it never came to be as his visa had expired and he asked them to negotiate the visa and After the Bernard Defense leaving the airport Brock was by a group of new japan representatives to give them the title to get cleaned up and Brock said he would get it cleaned and this was happening as Brock was transitioning into mma
so they had a deal in place that he would wrestle his final match in Japan before going all into mma and Brock got to pick Kurt to be the opponent to beat him and it was the main event for the inaugural igf event and was basically just to get the title off of Brock and TNA let Kurt do the match and thus Angle wrestled a few times in new Japan vs Yuji Nagata and Shinsuke Nakamura who challenged Kurt that night after he beat Tanahashi who won the vacant iwgp world title in a tournament when Brock left
Angle put Nakamura over huge and it made him the ace of new japan and led to new japan is turnaround from inoki-ism and turning new japan to the top Japanese pro wrestling promotion in the world

I always wished Brock came back in the red gear to WWE. But he just wore the MMA shorts and gloves. In the end it was fine. But I always thought it'd look cool seeing him in like a blood red version of his old pro wrestling gear. His MMA gear you could break out in a more big fight match or something. But he just kept wearing the MMA gear. I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like that would've been a cool visual.
I miss Brock wearing trunks, his legs has not shrunken, why the need to wear that silly shorts?

Lesnar and NJPW have bad blood. His matches are not even on their streaming platform. They don't use his footage for anything. I don't even think they show Brock in their parade of champions video before title matches anymore, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

B4 you guys linchpin brock for all this money talk he has a LOT of people who count on him for everything! He loves his family like I have never seen in my life ! and with that being said he NEEDS to make the money to keep everyone living right ! A bunch of medical bills for his family along with his own his wife kids etc. he has several mortgages that he pays that a lot of people aren’t aware of . Why he just doesn’t pay the houses of I don’t know . He has savings accounts for all his kids that he continually is putting money into and his parents farm he also funds and he is managing . to put it straight he is very important in a lot of peoples wellbeing .
