That style dress is no longer available on their website but I'm seeing a decent amount available secondhand online. I immediately purchased one so I can take it apart, convert it into a pattern, and make my own in a fabric I love!

Yes, heat resistant tape like they do when holding down vinyl on a T-shirt, etc. Then you can iron right over it when you iron your copy of the pattern and put it away.
