    love this project as a follow on to last weeks daffodil; building layers light to dark to create form and depth.

    Just painted this for a thank you card. Used acrylic watered down since I don't have watercolor and it still turned out fine. Thank you for your tutorials!

      Salt can be fun to be heavy handed with. The textures are so exciting.

    This looks like a lot of fun and I feel like a lot that we learned from the gouache papaya can be used here, too. Thanks, guys! Excited to try this 😊

    Does Sarah prefer a butcher tray to a palette with wells? Because there's no division in a tray, how to avoid accidental color mix-up

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sarah drops in small amount along the edges. If you don't love the mix up that can happen with the butcher tray, another option to check out would be to pick up a circular plastic tray to store your paints in while you're painting, and then use the butcher tray for mixing only. www.letsmakeart.com/products/water-paint-tray?Social&

    Michael needs to get the kitchen tool specifically for avocados
    I have it and love it because my husband gets nervous around me handling sharp knifes for that same reason

    Feels like you and Michael weren't really vibing tonight. The avocados didn't suffer though.

    I was confused but fig I would get the tutorials right away with getting a box . But I was wrong you have to be subscribed to get them.. Anyway. Tonight my daughter told me she subscribed. What a great thing she subscribed for me and just let me know... So it was my fault for not understanding ( sorry for all the Texs) I Am So happy and that I understand know. Love the post card, the tape works great.. Is there a place I could show my finished work for ur viewers to see? I am so enjoying my May box.. Thank you again Pyromancey Glass Art. Kathy

    I love this project, the colors really appeal. (Though I am one of the minority of people who think avocados are yucky tasting!)

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's okay, everyone is due their own taste....and it means more avocados for the rest of us.

    Lol.. And here I was like "noooooo, not the good knife... It'll dull it".. Lol... I do get mini heart attacks when wrong knife is used for something else.. It's like fabric scissors.. You just don't use my knives..

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This makes sense, just like using watercolor brushes with acrylic paint and then letting them sit and soak in the water.

      Seriously! 😂 I’d never let my good Japanese knife near an avocado pit. I actually just squeeze the pit out.
