If you are new to learning Procreate, this is the best tutorial. She goes to the point. Best camera skills, an amazing English if you are also learning it. She is an amazing teacher!!!
I just got a new IPAD PRO w/pencil in order to learn and practice drawing. I have dementia and art/drawing is a proven way to help ones brain f;unction a little better. The instructor is easy to understand and I can see when she activates a setting - others do it much to fast for me. I learn by repetition and playing back her video is so helpful. After I get more familiar with Procreate I hope to go on her website for drawing helps. Mrs Bardot is a great instructor.
This video is the reason I decided to get an iPad and Apple Pencil a few weeks back and decided to finally become a digital artist; which was extremely terrifying because I’ve only ever created paintings and sculptures and this was completely out of left field for me. @@brianna1638 Because each chapter is clearly labelled its easy to replay and go back to anything as and when you need to. It’s best to watch a little at a time, then as Lisa suggests, pause and play/experiment for a bit. I have a neurological illness and can’t process too much info at once so as i watched I made notes and paused, and then about half way thru when i started to feel swamped i stopped. Once I’d played and practiced each skill I went back to the tutorial and continued watching. We learn best when we actually physically try out a skill. Listening and watching aren’t enough for the majority of learners. (I’m a teacher) so playing with the skills - without having the aim of producing anything - will help your brain to understand and retain new information. Hope this helps as this really is one of the best introductions to Procreate I’ve watched.

I really appreciate this tutorial. I had familiarized myself with Adobe Art and when it was sunset I was so intimidated by Procreate that I procrastinated until I had no choice but to succumb. Finally, taking a few moments to familiarize myself with the tool and reminding myself, 'you can't break it'. I finally realized that I could not figure out all the functionality without help. I searched and ended up with some helpful channels but had to 'translate' a bit due to the uber-techie or deep accents. I almost gave up again. Final search ended with you, a breath of fresh air and a wonderful teacher. You explain in English and on multiple levels. Thank you!! I will finally illustrate my latest book 'He's always higher than me!'

I'm late 40s & recently got myself an iPad so I could play around with digital art. I'm used to Photoshop on my laptop, (and Macromedia Fireworks beforehand) but didn't have a clue when it came to Procreate. I saw your book while browsing for resources & was deliberating between a few titles by different authors. A review mentioned your TH-cam channel, so I thought I'd check it out to see how useful the book would be. I'm blown away by how helpful this video is. I can't tell you how helpful your videos are. I'm an old salt with Photoshop editing but I'm just starting out with Procreate and using a pencil to actually create art. I keep thinking "I wish I could (whatever) like in Photoshop" and it appears I can! I'm going to have to rewatch this video a few times to absorb it all but your overview here is invaluable. I don't know how anyone figures all this stuff out. In-software help, and digital manuals are so lacking unless you already kind of know what it is you're looking for and what it's specifically called. Thank you!

I got procreate and an iPad last year for Christmas I watch Lisa’s videos all the time. I love procreate and I use it pretty much everyday!!!

This is a great tutorial covering procreate soup to nuts and without too much extra. You'll want to pause, rewind and replay often. Much better IMHO than hearing word filler and needing to skip through...! Thank you so much for this!

I'm late 40s & recently got myself an iPad so I could play around with digital art. I'm used to Photoshop on my laptop, (and Macromedia Fireworks beforehand) but didn't have a clue when it came to Procreate. I saw your book while browsing for resources & was deliberating between a few titles by different authors. A review mentioned your TH-cam channel, so I thought I'd check it out to see how useful the book would be. I'm blown away by how helpful this video is. It's really given me confidence to play around with the app, rather than be intimidated by it. I'm my own worst critic & even I like the art I made thanks to this tutorial. I can't tell you how helpful your videos are. I'm an old salt with Photoshop editing but I'm just starting out with Procreate and using a pencil to actually create art. I keep thinking "I wish I could (whatever) like in Photoshop" and it appears I can! I'm going to have to rewatch this video a few times to absorb it all but your overview here is invaluable. I don't know how anyone figures all this stuff out. In-software help, and digital manuals are so lacking unless you already kind of know what it is you're looking for and what it's specifically called. Thank you!

loving watching your videos about using pro create, I am starting my apple journey coming from basic digital art software and diving into something a bit more, this has certainly ignited my passion again for art and I cannot wait to start drawing when I pick up my I pad air 4 next week.
