Please take the time to listen through their entire discog. They have eras, and its amazing to listen to their growth over the years.

Rip no more Eric (2nd drummer). *He's alive, just isn't part of the band anymore.

I'm actually going to listen to the album this is from for the first time next week. From how much I love Crumbling Castle, I can tell I'll love it.
I'd love a reaction to The Lord Of Lightning or I'm In Your Mind (Medley), both live on KEXP

That 5 album run in 2017 was incredible to be apart of, I saw gizz 3 times that year and one of them was Gizzfest not long after the Polygondwanaland album dropped.

Thanks for the video and comments ;)
You enjoy KGATLW and The Warning which I love, so I'm sure you will enjoy other bands that I have on my radar, but I also saw you enjoy Dave Brubeck and his Take Five, so I'm going to take the liberty to recommend you something that will not leave you indifferent ;)
At the end of the comment you will have the link, it is a very unusual combination within jazz, a duo of the Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara, (Hiromi is one of the best pianists today and being very young she already won the respect of Chick Corea playing a concert as a duo), and the Colombian harpist (yes, he plays the harp) Edmar Castañeda, it is really amazing what they do together and the energy they both put into their instruments, especially Edmar who plays the harp in a stunning way.
The story of how the duo was formed is very interesting, Hiromi saw Edmar's performance in a jazz festival in which he played as Hiromi's opening act and she was so amazed by the way Edmar played the harp that she proposed him to play together and the following year they performed as a duo in the same festival playing songs of both of them, whose concert was recorded and released on disc, the pity is that in YT there is only this video in which you can see them playing, but it is quite a spectacle.

I hope you enjoy it ;)

If you can react to the whole red rocks River in one video PLEASE do Nonogan Infinity in one sitting. If you’re a Gizz fan you KNOW this is where he should go next.

Polygondwanaland is a masterpiece! and they didn't even released it on their label, it was given away to people to bootleg and press... *mindblown*

i found them in 2017. in late 17 my house burned down in the massive portuguese fires. after a period of reckoning with the loss ( i lost my vinyls) my uncle gave me is old amazing stereo plus the turntable- soo i restarted my collection,. as a guy that had oldies from the 70's, my first tree new albuns was: pink floyd wishyouwhere here. bob marley survival, and king gizzard and the lizzard wizzard Polygondwanaland :-D they released it for free, amazing

If you want some pretty jazzy smooth Gizz I'd look up the Sense preformed at red rocks 6/7/23. Studio version is probably 4 min, they extended it to 15min.

I say this to everyone but watch the full live performance, they transition into other songs seamlessly!

Shoulda listened to the whole set; They also play my favorite versions of Muddy Water and The Wheel that I've heard. This is the set that sent me down the King Gizz black whole years ago. Seeing them just play for 20 minutes, transitioning so well between songs and Stu's guitar sounds blew me away. Now I've seen them 3 times at Red Rocks.
Sadly the second drummer left to focus on their record label.
I'll keep recommending their Boogieman Sam to Sleep Walker jam from Red Rocks :]
