  • The Simcoe County Loop Trail is 160KM, and is in my opinion the best long-distance loop for cycling in Ontario. It's not the most technical; it doesn't have the steepest climbs; it's not remote; it's not all gravel. So what makes the ‪@CyclesimcoeCa‬ Simcoe County Loop Trail the perfect loop for cycling in Ontario? It has gravel roads and rail trails; it has great bakeries; hits through great towns; links you with great coffee stops, treats and ice cream; the trail maintenance is stellar; there is fantastic variety of terrain; it touches three bodies of water (Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching, and Georgian Bay). It covers roads, trails, fields, forests, shoreline. This route has it all! Just ride it.

Where are all the bridges on the paved pathway?!?! That’s the best part of the route!

Forgot to add in description. I’ve added the link there for the route. I use Komoot for mapping. You can easily download the GPX file to import into whatever navigation app you use. Strava, Garmin, RWGPS, etc. thanks for the comment!
