Not only that, but there were THREE Ibis Ripmos on this trip. The other two bikes were a Revel Rail mullet and a Transition Sentinel. All bikes were perfect for the unforgiving terrain.
The scenery is so beautiful and yet you scare me our brave you all are going down those mountains with no margin for error well done.you have amazing talent and I can tell how much you love doing this ,it brings you so much joy and happiness I can hear in your voice and when you talk about where you’ve been
This is the most beautiful mountain biking video I've ever seen since I started watching around 2017/18. I've been on some beautiful peaks in my life and this looks like a a near overdose of awe. I'd like to see this in imax.
Managing to ride on those slopes and down the streets while still giving us the story so calmly is just amazing ... How you do that is beyond science ... Your brain is working overtime ... AMAZING . THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT. . That is what a human brain can do people.
Hey there! I stumbled upon a new project that might interest you. The Freebeat Morph eBike is an ongoing project that combines indoor fitness and outdoor exploration like never before. The outstanding feature of this eBike is that it can be charged when you use it indoors! It's amazing to see how the Morph eBike enables riders to tackle slopes and streets so calmly while sharing their stories. The brain's ability to handle all that is beyond science! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. That's what a human brain can do, truly amazing!
What an amazing time it must've been. Riding this epic adventure with the guys and seeing these incredible sights and culture is simply what truly LIVING is all about. Doing what you love with like minded people and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Has hecho los mejores vídeos de MTB en Perú y eso hace este canal de visita obligatoria para todos aquellos que quieran ir a Perú a disfrutar del mejor MTB del mundo, con los mejores paisajes, rutas, mucha cultura y buena comida. Felicitaciones !
I found myself reaching out to brace myself on some furniture to keep from toppling off the side of the ridge while watching your descent. Amazing. Right up there with Scotland, Spain and Tibet. 🏆
My favourite adventure of all time was hiking the Inca trail in 2014. I was travelling with hikers not mtn bikers. My regret that I didn’t get any riding in . I thank you for these videos. I just got to live as close to a bucket list check as possible !!
This has been my favorite travel series that you’ve done on your channel. Followed closely by your Spain series. I look so forward to your next trip vlogs. You have me looking up these trips and wanting to do one of them so bad!! Keep up the great work and hopefully one day I’ll see you on the trail 😊
This was definetely the best bike series I saw on youtube. Amazing job Brian. ...Congratuations for the guys in Peru who made this possible, I wish several people get motivated and I go there to do it as well.
Yeah, I'd have to agree, the trails on this one were insane good, look so nice and tech and fun, definitely the sort of trails and trip you'd want a 130/150 bike to be able to survive all those days in a row. Definitely would want some thicker casing 2.4"s to give confidence in the rocks and get sweet lower pressures.
Great series, definitely got me stoked for more MTB this year. I’d love to see a post trip bike check after this level of riding (although you have probably been back for awhile by now).
I saw Brian riding with a different grey/silver bike, I don’t think it was an Ibis. It was single track sampler’s birthday. This was quite a while ago so I’ve been waiting all this time to find out the scoop. Brian did mention that Ibis is not a payed sponsor as in Ibis doesn’t pay him anything to help him put food on the table, they just give him free stuff, and that he needs payed sponsors to put gas in the truck. Maybe he decides that the new bike isn’t near as good as the Ripmo and figures it ain’t worth it in which case maybe we won’t hear anything, can wait for next Q&A.
I left a comment here about something and it got deleted. I don’t know who’s responsible, if Brian then sorry to put out that info, while I’m here though I’m wondering if you were clipped in when your front tire washed out, that was an impressive dismount if you were, if you weren’t then I’m curious about when do you generally unclip?
Amazing Trip Brian! Yea, the most scenic I`ve ever watched on your channel. Maybe Italy was as scenic! I`ll be joining you in your trips in the future for sure. Hope it doesn`t take long! Cheers from Brazil!
Thankyou very much for to transport at that wonderful place , what a great guide and you are a good rolling You Know how they keep thouse paths so defined, they are incredibly clean!!!!
Thank you. Absolutely love your trip videos ♥️👍. Can’t wait for more 👍. Just wondering if I could as a favour🤷♂️ in previous videos you’ve put in the metric conversion on the screen. Any chance you could do that again. Just I have no idea what you are talking about when you say feet or miles or Fahrenheit. Sorry and thank you
Such an awesome series. Enjoyed every Peru video & Liked all of them. I was impressed at your skills to stay on the bike & trails with the least amount of falls which you danced away from with ease. Can’t stop watching. Maybe now that you’re home you can do some buddy rides with Seth the Singletrack Sampler. I always enjoy the three of you. Seth I think needs to put out more videos. Tell the two of them I said Hi! 👍👍👍🤙‼️🇺🇸
Beautiful views man cheers from Austin Texas USA 🇺🇸 I’m getting my first mountain bike 🚵♂️ this week! My pastors friend is giving her giant iguana bike away so I’m taking it! Lol
🇬🇧Thank you so much Brian this trip has been such good viewing it's like you said how are you gonna top this one! Well I'm sure you will, and us avid viewers will be right here watching in anticipation!🙏. 🤘😎🤘
Got to meet Sarah in person at the NICA race today, and she’s even more lovely in person. Found that we both agreed that Peru is the first trip you’ve done that I don’t want to join you on. Beautiful, but too many “nope” moments. Especially the ridge line segment. Haha. Keep doing your thing Brian, my family loves every video
Stoked on your epic adventure, and for sharing it with us. 🤘 Curious to know whether you noticed an increase in skills from getting those back-to-back days of reps on those advanced trails?
I know just how poorly video captures the true scale of it all and this was STILL amazing to watch so I can only imagine how incredible it was in person. That trail along the spine was pulse pounding
Hey Brian, absolutely loving this Peru concert don’t want it to ever end. I have a question, when your front tire washed out, were you clipped in? If not when do you generally decide to unclip?
This was fantastic to watch. During "La Maxima" section around 9:30 were you at all worried about slipping down either side? That part had my heart racing just watching. I also feel like being the lead rider would be tough to stay on top of turns and cliff edges at that speed. Very impressive!
Reminds me of the movie ‘triple frontier’. It was only when Brian fell off that I could gauge how steep the trails are. A rear-facing cam for your patreon subscribers? Double-wow!😊😊😊
I live right on that main street of the plaza that you showed at the end. My family owns a little pork shop and café, I was so excited to see a place so familiar and home to me on your channel! thanks for coming to the Valley of the Incas.
I enjoyed this video so much. I hope I could try and experience these ride in the near future. Thank you for sharing with us all your great rides. Keep safe always. God bless.
I live in Huancayo Peru which is the exact same environment as Cusco as far as riding MTB. I ride every day and am always about 20 minutes in any direction from a kickass adventure. Peru has ti he one if the best places in the world to ride MTB, the Andes are amazing!
Fantastic .what were the elevations on these rides. Was it higher then 11,000 ? what was the average ? Old man here I`d like to do this but I need to breath .
hello amigo, the maximum elevation is 14,500 ft, the avarage is 12,000 ft. you will breath and enjoy this ride for sure, anything you would love to konw about riding here, please let us know.
I remember my first day in the sacred valley. My forearms were on fire! I learned quickly to adjust my grip from a vise to more of a hover and take it easy on the breaks. 😆
This is by far the most epic series of rides you've made so far.
I enjoy every video.
Imagine the exposure Ibis is getting with these series
@@Jacob99174 Yeap. If that's the idea, then Brian had made a very good branding for them for sure. Well Ibis is one of my dream bike for a long time.
Not only that, but there were THREE Ibis Ripmos on this trip. The other two bikes were a Revel Rail mullet and a Transition Sentinel. All bikes were perfect for the unforgiving terrain.
@@Jacob99174 I think they yanked their sponsorship/support of him too!

Brian doesn't do jumps.
He rides down the spine of mountains with vertical cliffs either side.
Amazing scenery, great riding - brilliant job dude 👌

Those ridges are just insane. What an amazing trip and spectacular at every point, especially in this video. Thanks
Nothing like tap dancing on a proton. 😳
Now this is proper mountain biking. I admit that here and there I got a few butterflies in my tummy from watching 😊
Watched every single video from your Peru series. Just absolutely awesome mountainbiking and landscape. Worth the watch!
I found myself reaching out to brace myself on some furniture to keep from toppling off the side of the ridge while watching your descent. Amazing. Right up there with Scotland, Spain and Tibet. 🏆
Man, that middle portion with those mountains was INCREDIBLE!
That's a very special place.
A lot of very interesting history there.
The topography is really something to behold.

yes bro, this is the trip of a life time, we have a lot of culture, history and many amazing trails too
How about those clearly ancient farming terraces at 15:20 in the background? Wild stuff!
