Thanks for sharing! Very much enjoyed watching! Never in my 61 years of life have I seen that style of lowboy. At one time here on our farm we had koreing 605 and a lorein drag lines we moved and pieced together to run to enlarge our water capacity for irrigation needs . It’s all gone but the memories.

When I was a kid (1950's) there were a lot of basements for new houses being dug in my neighborhood by machines like this. I watched them all day.

That's a really straight old 15B. The trailer has an ingenious system to convert to ramps, someone did a lot of thinking to come up with that.

Watched my Dad dig many a mile of pipeline trench with one of these. Then I seen him when he started operating a link belt a believe it was a 70. He went from cables to hydraulic. Talk about a man the could operate a trackhoe. I spent a lot of time with him on the pipelines. At lunch time he would pull it to the side of the right a way and let me play. Sure had fun and sure miss those days.

      A very good type.
I often loaded a 34 ton track mount Drilling rig onto that type .
Best part is if you have flat tracks then the risk of slipping off is some what reduced.
Drawback is you need flat area and it does take a bit more time.
      Cheers from New Zealand.
