my friend came up with a pretty cool idea for the king salmonid, Omega 3 themselves!
they each have different attacks based on the instrument they play (example being the timpanist hurls a bunch of ink every time they hit their drum)
and with it, a new soundtrack SPECIFICALLY for that king salmonid that changes based on which members you kill (for example, if you splat the cellist first, the cello gets removed from the soundtrack, etc.)
so its basically 3 kings in one fight, but all with reduced HP

Kinda surprising that I'v got two of your ideas, the subway, I made a map in a train station wich I name it "Fishing Rails-rod" and the school one, I don't design or imagine the map, but I have give it the name of "Washing-Tuna High-school" 😂

Hot take if we’re only getting 2 stages I don’t want a new one at all - I want Urchin and Reef. Marlin Airport was a fine way to go out, and having the main stages of the first 2 games would make a lot of sense.
i am SO mad there was no reef and urchin for the splatoon 1 and 2 themed seasons

Well the Sizzle season trailer is out as shows the next big run with have us fighting all 3 King Salmonids so we're probably not getting a new one
Judging by the fish wheel in the thumbnail, im guessing itll be like a rat king(look it up if you dare)
I would like to see a stringer that has blaster shots, or a stringer where you can charge your shot and store it like a crossbow

@@fakesomefire thing is they never give a second kit for a new main weapon on the same season sooooooo we prob getting another one, and there is SPOILERS 2 other main weapons in the files outside of the stronger and Splatana sooooooo if we get those it's more 4 seasons guaranteed even if there isn't a new catalog

Explosher w/ Torpedo & Kwail
Alternatively, Explosher w/ Ink Mine & Missiles
Goo Tuber w/ Curling & Zipcaster (Only if it can hold its charge between zips bc funny gimmick)
Slosher w/ Burst & Tacticooler
Heavy Splatling w/ Beakon & Booyah (Ballpoint also works)

Personally (and from datamined stuff) here's what I can almost guarantee:
Stringer_Explosion: Most likely a heavy variety of Stringer. My personal thoughts is is will start with the nozzles close together and as they pull apart they build an explosive similar to 2 burst bombs being thrown simultaneously
Saber_Heavy: a heavy variety of Splatana. As for functions...maybe a charged Horizontal rather than having vertical? Allowing for more wide spread damage
1 Stage: only one more stage exists in the files and it seems to be a new one. It could be Saltspray judging from the elevator file being present, but I'm expecting it to be the final multiplayer stage. With no returning stage being added similar to last season.
Grizzco: Grizzco Roller was honestly perfect ngl. However I Don't think a king will be present THIS season.
Events: Big Run and Splatfests will carry on as usual. I believe a new type of Special fest will be introduced that I'm calling Sizzlefest. It is Codenamed "Sweat" in the files and I don't believe this to be FinalFest for reasons I'll get to soon.
Weapons: 8 this season. 6 of which being Kits the other 2 being the new weapons. These being Custom Range Blaster, Custom Hydra Splatling, Bamboozler 14 MKII, Heavy Edit Nouveau, Custom Douser Dualies, and Recycle Brella 24 MKII.
Why I "KNOW" this isn't the last season: Simple answer: NEW WEAPONS NEVER COME WITH THE SECOND KIT. Never have in any Splatoon title. So why change that for 1 season? They won't. This means that a Drizzle Season 2024 is more than likely! This will add the second kits for the Splatana and Stringer AND will most likely drop 8-10 Sheldon's picks. This season is also the one I believe that will drop the final King, Finale Run, and FinalFest as in previous games Final Fests were held on or after their respective 2 year anniversary. Meaning that Splatoon 3 will be similar with Final Fest being in September. They also may rerun Frostyfest and Splatoween based on the files having decoration data for Inkopolis Square.

Not bad but i have two questions: If the king salmonid is high up, how are some weapons supposed to reach it? I think it should be at the edge of the map, maybe with less eyes to make it fair.
Second question: Which kits do you want to happen?
my idea was for them to move back and forth from the top of the map to the edge (when they are up it will be the same height as boros) i probably didnt make that clear, and second kit ideas were in pt2 because i forgot them
