Hello to you, too! So glad that you are ready for your chair yoga. You are welcome and I appreciate your dedication to your practice. You're welcome. - Carol
You're welcome! I find that practicing my balance daily is important. When standing in the kitchen or brushing my teeth, I try and lift one foot off the floor. Practice really works. Keep up the great work!
I found your channel several weeks ago and have just started the 30 day challenge. I have a stretch program but felt I needed more. I am a newbie at this. I like the way you teach and look forward to learning more.
Ooh, I managed the half moon pose today :D Bit wobbly on the left but the right was strong (so helpful to have the chair for support). My intention today was 'focus' as my mind is a bit like a butterfly 🦋 which I like about my mind but when it's pre-occupied I'm distracted. Thanks as always Carol.
Great job! Half moon pose is challenging for sure. And it's so common for one side to be more willing than the other - that's why we always do both sides! Keep up the great work. Your getting stronger and stronger!
Great class! There was definitely some wobbling on the warrior 3/eagle series for me. Slowly getting better. One side was easier and better than the other. :)
If you find a position is uncomfortable during a practice, I encourage you to modify it to release any pressure. You can also move the body part in a circular motion to improve circulation. For example move your leg or foot in a circular motion to get the blood flowing.
I'm not sure that I'm qualified for that particular application. I have a series that is themed Joyful.that you could try. Go to TH-cam.com/c/BottomsDown and scroll down to the themed classes. Let me know what you think.
Still love your classes! Today's class was very challenging on the eagle and warrior 3 poses which I don't mind but cannot let go of the chair completely yet. I can lift my knee and send it to the back which is an improvement in and of itself but I kept the hand next to the chair on the chair and the other hand in prayer position....kind of a half prayer hands if you will...the good news is I no longer hand onto the chair for dear life, it's a loose touch. Ok, all that to ask, is that ok or should I keep my foot next to the chair on the floor instead of raised? Thank you so much for your wonderful classes! This is my second challenge and I'm still showing up and loving them!
Hello there and thanks for reaching out with your question. I think that any work we do for balance is so important and kudos to you for working hard on it. A light touch on the chair is a great place to continue and build balance strength. Eventually, you'll want to let go of the chair completely and place your toes or the ball of your foot on the floor. You'll improve your balance more by letting go of the chair completely (even with toes touching the floor) than lifting the foot off the floor and holding onto the chair. Remember to keep your abdominal muscles engaged and find a spot on the floor in front of you to focus on. It really helps! Keep up the great work.
Good afternoon, ready for my chair yoga, you all Thank you Ms Sheryl for all you do (Amazing) thank you!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

You are right, I wobbled first time with my balance, second time around not so much :). Great class, thank you!
