Looks fantastic! Most people wouldn't be able to tell this wasn't shot on a professional camera. It's color graded really well and you were smart not to do any close-ups or things that would reveal DOF.
Thank you so much-I'm glad you liked it! 😊
It actually is a professional camera. It's an iPhone 15 pro max with the PRO Res.
Wow!!
😊
Perfect
Thank you!
_Obviously, this video was professionally color graded because I can’t get beautiful cinematography like this with Rich details and colors, with my iPhone 12 Pro_
Thanks for watching-I'm glad you liked it! The new ProRes Log mode on the new models definitely helped a lot.
I love Savannah. I had dreams of going to SCAD out of high school it didn’t pursue it enough. Grew up in Walterboro, SC.
Thanks for watching! It is such a beautiful place. 😄
Wow 🤩 This is an amazing shot 🎥
Thank you very much!
Looks fantastic 😊
Thank you so much! 😊
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
Thank you!
Nice! You have a great eye!
Thank you!
Beautifully shot and graded.
Thank you!
Nice job! Just got mine. I typically never upgrade phones until mine goes to crap but I just had to have the camera
Thank you, and hope you enjoy your new phone! I also debated for quite a while before I upgraded but I'm so glad I got it😄
Absolutely beautiful congrats. The colors are so lovely. Can you do video on how to color grade log footage from iphone!?
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Need to start planning😄
Good job
Thank you so much!
beautiful shots ❤
Thank you very much!
@@LeoOuyang This vlog made me go buy an iphone 15 pro max :) Unfortunately, I do not have the eye/skills to color grade my footages (filmed in black magic app) on my FCPX. Any chance you sell LUTs?
Glad you got the new phone-I'm sure you'll love it! Unfortunately, I don't have any LUTs available right now, but I might post tutorials on the channel in the future :) @@roamwithdory
@@LeoOuyang Thanks! Looking forward to those tutorials
great work! what did you use for color grading? presets?
Thanks for watching! I used color LUTs from VisionColor.
How did you slow down 24fps? Did you shoot 4K60 and slow it down to 24? or did you do some optical flow magic?
I shot everything in 24fps and didn't do any slo-mo in the edit😊 but whenever I need slo-mo I would go shoot 60fps and slow it down in post.
The first thing I would recommend to this video, is try to avoid sunlight when shooting on an iphone due to lens flare on the lens. it really does spoil it as per say by Brandon Li in his latest video posted 3 weeks ago recorded in Hong Kong.
Thank you for your suggestion! 😊
wow amazing work... tips on exposure handling on native app please and also shutter speed is auto ?
Thank you very much! Yes, we'll have to use auto shutter speed within the native camera app. It also tends to go a little over-exposed so I kinda like to manually turn down the exposure a bit.
Did you use any attachments lenses? Like an anamorphic?
Thanks for watching! No, I didn't use any external lens😊
Hey, how do you edit these videos? They're super cool. Nicely color graded.
Thank you-I'm glad you liked it! It was edited in Final Cut Pro X. 😊
Thanks for the reply, man!❤️
Did you use gimbal or handheld?
Handheld😄
Did you use an ND filter?
I don't know but I'd put my money on yes.
I actually didn't use ND filter for this one😄
i wonder event if it is 24fps, it looks like a more higher fps than 24
It was indeed shot in 24fps😄
@@LeoOuyang maybe because no nd filter?
Yeah it could be related to the auto shutter speed@@dzlfiqar
@@LeoOuyang would love to see another video with the nd filter 😁
Thank you! It would be a great investment for sure😊@@dzlfiqar
I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and use the Blackmagic Camera app with all the specifications I've seen in this tutorial and others. However, my videos always have grain, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I understand it might be due to low light in the places I'm recording, but almost all the material has grain. Can you help me improve this? Thank you in advance
Hey! Getting grain/noise is definitely very common and I'm getting them as well😄 Low light indeed is one of the main factor. Using a low ISO would help with reducing noise.
Can you give a color grading tutorial please?
Thanks for watching! Need to starting planning😄
Which one is this place like this place and your contant ❤❤❤
Thank you very much! This was filmed in Savannah, Georgia, USA. 😊
How does it handle at night?
Don't even try unless your planning to shoot in a bright night time setting like downtown. The sensor is still very very small and with LOG (no processing) its going to look far less impressive than this footage above. Its the laws of physics.
I feel like it's still possible to get some decent looking shots based on the environment😊 but I would avoid using the ultra wide and telephoto lens at night since they are not great in low light and would make the image noisy.
What's the name of this song? thanks again
It's "Inconclusive Results" by Peter Sandberg :)
Looks good but the disgusting lens flare is a dead giveaway.
To sharp, and the colour not look realistic
It's his character for making movie.
O ok , but its makes me dizzy to see,
@@horizonteboy9583 watch it in 720p 😁😁
