I love the way you deliver the video. I need your suggestion though. I wanna purchase Iphone 15 pro, but I am still confused of the right storage size. I will use iphone for RAW stock photography, 4K Apple LOG stock videography, photo video editing, reading books, vlogging, live, social media content creation. I am not found of gaming. I love installing apps related to photo, video, and language learning. Which one should I choose: 1. Iphone 15 pro 128GB + Transcend SSD Portable ESD310 512GB, OR 2. Iphone 15 pro 256GB + Trancend SSD Portable ESD310 256GB In my country, the combination #1 is 160$ cheaper than the combination #2. Which one should I choose? I need your help.
these are good tips BUT just an extra tip...over last 3-4 years, a lot of scenics on YT have been produced with an almost overdrive of sound fx. Be realistic with your sounds...don't just go find "running water" sounds and drop in over a small creek and / or just drop in the sound with no tweak. The sounds in a lot of folks videos are just like stock drop ins and don't sound realistic, just sounds like someone plopped in stock sounds. When you're out and about, listen to things...understand how things from a distance sound compared to being up close then you can start tweaking sound fx , panning them to really bring things to life. Thats just me but
Thank you for the tips. Love that you kept the equipment to a minimum. I cant afford all these gadgets and i think learning to use what you already have can foster creativity even more.
This video was like a memory trip into how I used to shoot the videos! 4 years later I’m still shooting with an iPhone (hopefully they look better) and I had a 500k video also with an iPhone
I decided to view all your videos regarding mobile videography and being a lens enthusiast and a traveller I gain a lot of info from your tutorials. Beginner vs expert demo is the easiest and quickest method to improve one's camera skills and I do appreciate your efforts in making such videos. Congrats to you and thanks.. From Wayanad,Kerala, God's on country!❤️
You’ve done it again sir! I love your approach to making better videos. They offer so much great advice on technique which is the key to mastering gear. One thing I try to think of is making sure a camera move starts on one great composition and ends on another. The trip between should be smooth, steady, and simple. Thanks again for all you do for us - and BTW your iPhone 101 camera course is worth every penny!
Super informative! I would love a short video, showing Start to End that talks about the accessory devices and settings. THATS the overwhelming part. I can always find beautiful and interesting things to film, just point and shoot basically, but the other… and HOW to get to the actual Editing process. I’m a step by step learner. I subscribed and hope to learn more.

When taking a photo, do you have tips on how to make a focal point less blurry when zooming in greater than 3x zoom? Same thing when zooming in and taking a video? I use my iPhone to zoom in and take photos/videos of my son playing goalkeeper from distance but they always look a little grainy.
Thank you very much bro! I'm getting the iPhone 15 pro max and it will be my first iPhone ever so I wanna learn more tips possible to make my amateur shots and videos better
This was so helpful! Thank you for showing both beginner and expert examples to show the difference! What editing program do you use or recommend? I am learning iMovie, but it’s limited. As a beginner your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow- subscribed!
this was so so helpful. i also noticed I'm doing all the beginner things and when occasionally I do the expert one by chance, i'm like wow it looks good, but forgot how i did it XD

Great video! On another topic and something you might have touched on. I want to start shooting longer videos but I’m concerned about storage on the iPhone. What’s your workflow and how to keep the storage low, my though is to dump the videos to a hard drive or computer after your done editing. I would like to know your thorn this. Thanks.
I mostly edit the videos shot on my iPhone on my desktop using Final Cut Pro. So like you suggested, I airdrop it to my computer and copy them to an ext. Hard drive. After that I delete it off my phone :)
One thing though, it looks like you either used an external lens filter or you added it somehow in post production. Can you detail more what you used and how? What accessories or software you use for post production and how to use it? Any additional lut or other color grading you use?
Yea gimbal help a ton, i love them. They help achieve smoother, complex shots and keeps you horizon leveled. However its also good idea to train your handheld skills, because sometimes you don‘t always have a gimbal at your disposal, and shooting handheld is often the fastest way to capture moments quickly :)
Excellent tips, every one of them, thank you. I'm not an iPhone user so I need to ask, are you setting a shutter speed at 2x frame rate (24 fps = 1/50 sec), or is the iPhone doing that for you? Or does that video camera 'rule' not apply to smartphones? Thanks.
Thank you very much! When using the default camera app, it's challenging to view the shutter speed values. To overcome this limitation, you'll want to opt for a professional video app like Filmic Pro. Since the aperture is fixed on most smartphones, adjustments for exposure rely on the ISO and shutter speed. In well-lit conditions, the shutter speed increases. For casual "run-and-gun" shooting, I don't mind sacrificing the natural motion blur in my shots. However, when striving for a more professional look or when producing a short film, I prefer setting the shutter speed at twice the frame rate using Filmic Pro in conjunction with an ND filter.
@@BenettGraezer Well, you just raised my understanding of video shooting differences between my Android and my Sony A7IV by a factor of 10! That's why post editing Sony A-roll and Android B-roll mixed footage will almost always require some color matching editing, if consistency is a goal. Thank you for a really thorough answer. 👏👏
The absolute first hack should be: every time before you film something, wipe the iPhone-Cameras in your Shirt. As it‘s a Phone, they‘re super prone to fingerprints, which not everyone realises - but it can make a huge difference
Hi man! I appreciate your work, but it would be much better, if you shot the same subjects both as "beginner" and as an experienced person to show the difference in approach.
I laughed out loud as soon as you launched into the final edit of the beginner version. The music had me bopping, the camera angles almost made me vomit… pure perfection in the form of a beginner example edit! 😂😅 Thanks ☺️
Locking focus and exposure is like the best tip ever. Unfortunately smartphones have no variable aperture so if you don’t do it, it will vary the shutter angle so your footage will look awful

Hi , great video…question tho, will youtube allow 4k video quality ?
Yes, absolutely
It helps when your recommended footage is color corrected while the "wrong" way isn't. Honestly, the color correction is the biggest difference.
