I have had a 335i now for 15 years upgrades over the last 7 years are Td0 4 turbos at 18 psi FBO LTD diff full seal kit in auto runninnig MHD and XHP stage 3 upgraded full pump and modified fuel pump driver with cooling fan dyno's at 550 reliable HP , and have never used E85 the main killer of reliability in these engines. at 1350KGs and a very stock looking E90 those Mustang and Dodge boys sure get one hell of a shock when this little old man is looking at them in his reaveiw, what a buzz, the most realiable and fun car I have owned, and I have owned a lot of muscle cars in my 50 years of driving.

So that's 4 things right ? Bigger intercooler , metal charge pipe , ( really doesn't add much power ) , down pipes , and a tune . without a tune i doubt you'll get an extra 100bhp.

Very nice Rick. Got a question. How much Hp can I make max, on the n54 with catted downpipe? Because of MOT once a year I can't go catless downpipes, or I have to change them before MOT every year, over and over! Btw, I'm on Aral RON102 and my first mod was the DCI's which did a big difference already. I own the e93 for 4 months now. My plans are VRSF 5" intercooler and MHD stage1+. Is it possible to reach 400Hp (crank) on Ron102 this way? Dutch regards, Nico.
You could inform with a tuning company about coding out the code for a catless dp. In the netherlands they dont do a smog test, if your car is from 2006 or newer, (viergasmeting) if they dont see any codes in the ecu. You could also opt for a dp with a sports cat. Succes 😉
Does the automatic transmission have a hard time handling the torque at lets say 450hp and 442ft/lbs? the 6hp21 is rated at 330ft/lbs.

I can’t seem to get any answers. How does AWD vs RWD handle in terms of power? I want to put down some good power, prefer to not have traction issues, plus I get the 4 seasons here and would prefer not to have too many issues in the snow.

I live in Chicago winter gets so disgusting the streets slippery asf and hella snow and i got a rwd m3 2008 and its never slipped in a way that i could crash so idk just dont press on the gas obviously
RWD is awesome in the snow I’m from Colorado and we get storms every now and then but driving in the snow made me more comfortable with RWD. it is definitely a great feeling
