I think you may choose one of the colours from the wallpaper (green or pink) for the wall behind the radiator and just paint it as sort of "accent wall"? (And maybe do the same also with the middle column, if it's not an overkill in such small room).
Nevertheless, it looks GREAT, I really love the wallpaper and the room looks really welcoming :)
That's what I was thinking as well. Maybe bring in the color of the stem or the color of the flowers.
I appreciate that with hair and make-up videos as well as home videos, you've always used what you have and haven't gotten hung up on perfectionism. I like that about you and wish I were more like that!
Your room was lovely before, but it looks even more lovely and homey now! I really love what you did with the curtains; it looks like a valance at the top. (Those things that hold the curtain rods are called brackets in English, by the way.😉)

It's so cute! You could always paint the middle section to look like the bricks of a fireplace, put a bit of trim up for a mantle, and get one of those flat insert fireplaces. That would be so cute especially with the picture.

You could hang suncurtains, maybe add the panel to your lace ones, if there is no room for them. The sun *will* bleach anything and everything (even wood) that is in your cozy little place. :(

Genius idea with the curtains. I have this lovely lace curtains which went to the floor, then we got kittens and they keep playing with them so I want to shorten them but I didn’t want to cut the beautiful lace. Think I will just fold it over like you did. Also wonderful editing at the beginning 😘
You could also do the equivalent of a giant pin-tuck to hike them up, might be easier to undo if you ever want to let them down again, should kittens become cats and less interested in shredding pretty things :)

your wallpaper struggles made me laugh so hard bc it's definitely something that happened to me before. This time around, i ran out of the pre mixed deluxe paint like 1m2 before finishing my new living room - now I have a huge bucket of leftovers bc they only sell this specific paint in giant buckets 😂 it turned out so cozy and so you, the wallpaper really is the finishing touch! and by the way, as an egyptologist, I'm so jealous of having such a cool and creative ancestor

So I'm American and I don't know what those angles and the roof thing is called 😂. I don't live in a densely populated area. The style of our houses do not have those architectural features, but I love your sewing room. It's very cozy!

For the space over the radiator... maybe get a few small frames and frame up bits of the scrap wallpaper, hang those around, with one big pink flower framed in the middle?

I love how the room turned out… Just know that at night those curtains will be very transparent looking in from the outside. I have a similar curtain in my dining room and at night you can see everything.

That "column" we would call a "chimney breast" in British English... You could paint it in one of the colours in your wallpaper (pale pink?! green?!), stain a board as a shelf under your picture of your great-grandfather and it would already look like a little Victorian fireplace with a mantelpiece... If you were really ambitious, you could do trompe l'oeuil painting in greys that looked like a fireplace in that space ;)!! Or just set up some candles.
A piece of trim above the level of the radiator and the drawers/along seams is a traditional way of handling transitions! :) It looks beautiful

The curtain usage was such a great idea! I also dislike white walls but living in apartment there is not much you can do besides hang stuff. White walls are none to cause mental insanity so 🤷♀️ yup dont keep white walls

I love it! So cozy. And I love the shape of the room. I had a bedroom at my grandpa's home, when he was ill. And I so loved it's slanting ceilings. I'm still miss sleeping there.

For fireplace would be perfect on that center beam! So funny because again in my loft sewing area at my sitting area part I have a fireplace heater that I no longer use and I’m sitting there between the chairs to make it cozy. LOVE the curtains!!

I had no idea what to call my style but apparently it is granny chic and I appreciate you letting me know that that’s what it is because I’ve got to have lots of things that my stepmother had. My grandparents passed when I was young but my stepmom was into antiques and dried pennies and fabric and all kinds of things and I am in New England in the US that’s the top right corner and there are so many antiques that are easy to snap up! So my fabric stash is (mostly) contained in a couple of antique China cabinets (which makes fantastic protection from both dust and cats! Lol
