I thought things would be the best in my early twenties when i was working hard and had a lot of money to buy anything i wanted. But that didnt bring me the happiness that high school wrestling success did, drinking on the weekends, hooking up with the girl you're crushing on and texting all week leading up to the friday night house parties, seeing all your friends everyday in a place that you all hated but still liked being just because we were all there, driving my 1965 red Chevy Impala with dual exhaust and headers into the parking lot in the morning and everybody knowing i was there because it was so loud....ohh man, the memories, i'd literally give anything to go back. and imagine going back with the knowledge that you have now? pshttttt, that would be amazing. i could die happy if i got to go back and live 10 years of high school over again. Its crazy how music can trigger those nostalgic memories like that. Really wild how these songs are the soundtrack to my high school life. The good old days when you could go to DUMBO and not see tourists. That area sucks now. Anyway, Im so glad I discovered tbs and was able to have more than just rap to listen to.

When I was in the Army they did a USO tour while I was stationed in Germany and they came to my base and we took a picture with the band after the show with my family and my oldest son is sitting in Adam’s lap. I will ALWAYS love this band no matter how old I get.

One of my best friends in high school & college got me listening to TBS, NFG and the like and this brings me back to hanging out with him and just being young. I'm turning 40 in 3 weeks and I still love the music from this time more than anything that's out these days. Also Keith if you see this I miss those days and thank you for introducing me to the best music of the 2000s 😁
