My older brother was acquaintance in early to mid teen years with Jordan Hastings drummer of Alexis on Fire, i never met him. He grew up in Burlington Ontario to. I think he was friend of a friend of my brothers, my brother wasn't friends with him as fare as i know just friendly acquaintances.

I know Silverstein has been a highly regarded band for many years, but I still don’t think enough people realize how great of song writers these guys are. And they’ve only gotten better with time, which is something a lot of bands from this era failed to do. They’re truly one of a kind
Saw these guys play this whole record at WWWY 24, 19 years later, and Shane Told was about the only vocalist all day long who sounded better than when he wrote the old record his band is playing. The guy's voice is like a fine wine (whine 😅) or something, it just gets better with time! 🖤

27 now and this hits way differently than it did all those years ago, but I still cry to it. I am still here, have two beautiful kids, an amazing husband, and a small business. To think this song helped me not leave this earth even though it was all I wanted.
I would say that this song, time, exact time frame is probably the absolute epotime of my teenage years. The song, the look, the outfits, hairstyles, its just so nostalgic. I mean this song was HUGE. A very good time in my life. Thanks guys.

This song hurts now. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this song or band, but during the quarantine my best friend wanted me to make a playlist for her of songs she thought she would like. I used to listen to this when I was younger and her music taste would aline with this genre/sound.
So I included it. She ended up playing it on repeat and fell in love. She even thanked me for showing her.
I remember waking up half asleep and seeing her at her desk drawing and listening to this song quietly to not disturb me, but it was on repeat.
She took her life a week after my birthday in 2020. I miss her so fucking much. This song just hits so differently now. I can’t believe it’s almost going to be a year I just really want her back
