    Cool video mate. I saw this flywheel thing first time in a training session of Jonathan Haggerty. I thought this stuff it looks legit, but quite expensive.
    I too heard that kicking power and punchin power correlates with jump hight...
    Couldn't you do a budget version of this with a band on feet and neck or something🤔

      Yea you can get cheaper ones of aliexpress etc but you don't get all the bells and whistles + might be replacing the tether frequently.
      I wish you could replicate this with a band but unfortunately not. Band is loaded through elastic resistance. Flywheel is rotational inertia

      There's also a DIY manual that puts on in place (obviously without the motor or power meter) for about 200-300 in materials

    Just a quick question about your gains...You mentioned that you didn't do ANY other training except the flywheel squats (one session for speed and one for strength).
    If that is correct, then....
    Could it be that you saw such good gains, because you got rid of lingering fatigue that you accumulated in the weeks prior?
    Or worded differently....
    Did the reduction in your training volume lead to those gains?

      Wouldn't say I had ant residual fatigue. Training volume wasn't much higher (training time has been reduced with our 1 year old currently)
