The yanks have some weird spellings and pronunciations for all kinds of stuff. One of the ones that does my head in is the way they say, and more so spell the word tyre.

Thanks! Yea sounds like a case only will do the trick. Just make sure to get the one listed for these cars on eBay and don’t make the same mistake I did last time. I don’t know if you’ve seen my first key fob video but I bought the case for a Citroen Berlingo as it had the Citroen logo on it. It looked identical, but has a different shape key blade which made it not fit quite right.
Also, don’t forget about the transponder/immobiliser chip.
We had same problem with daughters 107, but had a new key cloned as didnt know these repair kits existed. Other daughters c1 is ok but ill do this now if it **** up. Crackin video. Cheers .
Thanks mate! Only about £5 or £6 posted the repair kit cost off the eBay too. If you do change it, just don’t forget the pesky transponder chip.

This may be the way to fix it yes. Have you also tried replacing the battery?
There is also a way to reprogram them to the car if they have become unsynchronised but I’ve not got a video on that
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I've replaced the battery so it's not that. I'll put in some new circuits as you describe and hopefully that'll fix it.

@@simonjj7397 yea worth a try. If it doesn’t work then it could need that sync procedure. If you go into a car spares shop, they sometimes have a device to tell you whether the key is actually transmitting or not

Soldering is easy!
It’s finding the buttons when you drop them that’s the hard bit.
i have button that has two little lead things sticking out of each side, could it still be welded if the original broken one had one?
You mean the solder pads? Pretty much any surface mount momentary button should technically work as long as it fits
Hi, so I’ve done all this for a Pug 307, and reprogrammed the key. The open function works perfectly but the lock won’t. On further inspection the little button thing on the circuit board was broken. Will it work if I solder the button that came with the pack on, or is it to be binned? Kinda what you did but I fear it won’t work!! Thanks.
Yes it sounds like you need to solder a new button on like I did. Let us know if if I sorted it out

that translucent rainbow naail varnish is a real crowd pleaser .... my ex girlfriend used to call me tripod too ,,, never worked out why , she may have had a point though ...
