  • In this video you'll see a keyless remote repair(push button switches), on a faulty keyless remote for my vehicle. 3 tactile push button switches will be replaced on the remote, and you'll see a highly useful one-handed DMM test probe, as well as a great soldering/desoldering tool. Enjoy the video!

I have a Kia Sedona key fob that uses these same 4x4x1.5mm micro-switches & I'll be replacing the Lock & Unlock positions as soon as receive the new parts. Thanks for your video as it gives me a "sneak peek" & confirmation of technique.

Awesome vid. I want to remove the push button and solder a 3' wire with a push button on the other end. Will that work? But the wire has 2 legs. How do I know which of the 4 contacts to use?

If the plug is grounded on the soldering tweezers, since it says ESD Safe you'll want to check and make sure there is an actual ground path from the tip to the ground on the plug. I bought a different soldering station (made in China) that's a Hakko knockoff and it claims to be ESD safe, but there was no actual connection between the tip and earth ground. There was a solder point on the board for it but that's where it stopped. I had to make a ground wire myself to fix it.

I've gotta get me some of the those tweezers (both types). Are new tips readily available for the solder tweezers? Great vid! =)

I have seen those tweezer things for a while now and always wondered if they worked or were worth buying.

hi i was looking through your videos and i watched your gps jammer video i was wondering if that device would be able to block a car blackbox thats installed by an insurance provider as a young driver its impossible to get car insurance with out it but i do not want them to be able to see when i am driving or how i am driving.

I've superglued so many of these things. They work just fine if you do it right.
