It is to assume that powder kept the hextech gems hidden, because she thought them to dangerous to be further examined and tested. Also there are multiple hints that powder realized that our ekko in fact wasnt "her" ekko. Like how she looked at his notes where he drew 2 souls connected through an infinity sign. Which is also why she played along with the "pretend like its the first time" and why she didnt react shocked when she saw 2 versions of ekko in the end, with "her" bf ekko unconscious in her arms and "our" ekko up in the teleporter. The way she put the pendant in the drawer also sparks the thought she is closing this short chapter with "our" ekko. What made me really teary is the details to the pendant he gave before leaving. You can see both their faces on it if you look closely (theres also pics on the internet where the faces are outlined for better visibility), but even more beautiful to me is the fact that the blue peonie symbolizes "eternal love" but can also mean "eternal, unattainable love". 😭
This is the reason behind so much of Heimerdinger's lines and behaviour. He's immortal, so he doesn't view life the same way the humans do. He didn't see the problem with waiting for decades to safeguard hextech like Viktor and Jayce did. He didn't care that much about being sent back to his own reality like Ekko did, he's a genius in his own right afterall if he truly wanted to go back he could've and that was shown by how he immensely upgraded the device they made together within such a short time, and the multiple years wait for Ekko was nothing to him. Its also why he says to Ekko that he taught him how to truly live. Because immortal as he is, Heimerdinger wasn't really "living"
@@MRST0R its possible that his bodies split, just like Ekko's did, and both got revived in their own bandle city. But who knows, bandle city is a separate dimension too so who knows how it would work. Or perhaps he got wiped rather than just simply dying and can't be revived. Sadly we'll have to wait till another prominent Yordle shows up in the show (maybe Veigar will, since we're likely going to Noxus and Mordekaiser territory), to see where they take the whole Yordle thing and their immortality which is a big part of their story
@@Roflmao6173 From what I remember from League lore, even though he looks old, Heimerdinger is actually quite young for a Yordle - only a few hundred years old. Where other Yordle's are closer to 1000. So he's still very much excited about everything and his tinkerer hobbies.
@@Roflmao6173 Ekko's line "It's not enough to give people what the need to survive, you have to give them what they need to live." is so much more potent now. Ekko had such an impact on Heimerdinger. 300 years of just existing only for Ekko to have Heimerdinger realize he has to live, not just survive.
With that incident that killed Vi, Jayce would've been kicked out of the academy, be asked to leave Piltover, and most likely commited suicide. Hextech wouldn't be developed.
Potentially or he could have also died cuz he was on the other side of the door during the explosion. Either way he and Vi are donzo in the peaceful timeline.
Maybe Because Vi died as a kid Council realized what children of zaun have to do because they neglect them Like it Opened their eyes that they have been ignoring them that children have to steal to survive And they make peace and help the zaun
Heimerdinger used his ultimate which is an empowerment of usually his devices - in this case it is to empower the time traveling of z-drive with the build up of Heimerdinger. Therefore Ekko was able to go back to his reality. Without Heimerdinger he can only use the few seconds to travel back in time to empower the time traveling ability. Therefore Ekko was able to go back into his reality. Without Heimerdinger he can only use the few seconds to travel back in time with his z-drive.
One reason I've seen put forward why Jayce didn't appear in the same reality as Ekko and Heimerdinger is because the Jayce from that reality was also killed in the explosion that killed Vi. Expanding on that theory.... Jayce didn't publicly announce that he was trying to create magic, and so the Topsiders didn't get spooked into harassing the Undercity the way they did in the show's main timeline. Meanwhile, the death of an Undercity child (Vi) likewise dissuaded Viktor from pursuing the research on his own.
This is my favorite episode of the season, its so beautiful 😍🥺😭 I'm so happy that at least in one universe Ekko and Powder (Jinx) are happy together 😍⏳💣💚💙
The ekko and powder dance scene is 4 frames per second, in reference of the 4 seconds ekko can jump back in time. Some say that this means that he want to stay in every one of these moments.
So heimerdinger is fine he was most likely sent back to bandle city. Which if you dont know all yordles are from the spirit realm, so if they die somewhere they just respawn
Perhaps I'm wrong but... Hear me out. As Powder helped Ekko build and create the hexgate, she noticed something in Jayce/Ekko's journal about the project. Perhaps she figured out what they were building and what was happening, after all, she is a very smart girl. And that means that she started to realize that this Ekko she was hanging out with and helping out wasn't her ''own'' Ekko. How is that possible? Well, if you look at Powder's facial expressions during the whole episode after she started working with Ekko, you can see sort of a melancholic stare she has, maybe accepting the fact that he has to leave somehow and that she has to let go. And my confirmation of this theory happened during the rooftop scene when 1- she never questions Ekko's words: "I always dreamt the undercity could be like this" or ''I gave up on you'' or ''can we pretend like its the first time?'' without context, those words would be incredibly confusing for Powder, but she doesn't react abruptly or strangely to those words and 2- when she says: ''sometimes, in order to make a leap forward, you have to leave some things behind'' she has a very sad look on her face while she says it. Again, acknowledging in thst moment that he has to leave. She doesn't freak out and she never stops Ekko and asks him about all these things, she goes along with all of it, why? because she knows and because she is deeply in love with him, I think. Which makes it all the more heartbreaking.

Jayce likely wasn't sent to the same timeline Ekko and Heimer went to for two reasons 1.) He very likely doesn't exist in that timeline. If Victor didn't stop him from jumping in season 1..., and 2.) Victor very much wanted Jayce to see the future of his plans so that Jayce could stop him.
I have a HORRIBLE and LIKELY theory. People have been wondering why Ekko and Heimedinger ended up in the same alternate reality, while Jayce didn't. Didn't he thought? We know that Ekko and Heimedinger ended up in the same reality, but at a DIFFERENT time; the parcimony principe would hence push to the conclusion that Jayce had arrived in the same reality, at a different time; probably in the future. But then, if Jayce never invented Hextech in said reality, how would the world end like that? Well, Ekko has shown to Powder how she can use the cristals she has kept since she was a child...
@Thisisitfornow2560 well, dverything is speculation, but people like jayce and viktor are hextech enthusiasts, they would jump onboard. And Viktor condition would push him to yhe same mistake.
Ma meilleure ennemie has heartbreaking lyrics which tells the story to ekko and his love story with powder.

It speaks to both of them tbh. There are two singers after all. “The past following you is waging war” is my favorite lyric.
