I literally thought when they cut to Jayce, ekko is saying “this is everything I’ve ever wanted, I don’t want to leave” and Jayce was saying “this is everything I’ve ever feared, I want to leave”
What makes me the most emotional about Heimerdinger is that he finally started to live each day, as you see when he had counted how many days he's been in the AU, very high contrast to when we see him in S1, when he told Jayce that he must test the Hextec for a decade or two and that would go in fast. Not only that, but he was able to connect with people using music and going to Zaun, rather than living above it in the ivory tower.
Imo he loves his powder/jinx but he can't be with her. Because of how her mental state but he got a taste of what could maybe happen. I feel like they could still get together
don't worry guys! heimer is part of species called 'yordle'. they don't die, they just respawn back to their city called 'bundle city'. if you guys are interested with seeing it, go watch tales of runeterra: don't mess with yordles !! SO CUTE!
Im glad Vanessa noticed the red strip of hair. Also, its hard to notice, there's only like one good shot of it, but Vander has a VI tattoo on his hand too. And if you look closely at the flower Ekko gave her, you can sorta make out their faces in the flower.
Little fun fact, the scene where they're dancing is animated at 4 frames per seconds. The same amount of seconds that Ekko can rewind, the symbolism that he *cannot* get those moments back is heartbreaking
This is definitely my favorite episode of the season, its so beautiful 😍🥺😭 I'm so happy that at least in one universe Ekko and Powder (Jinx) are happy together 🥰⏳💣💚💙
Not seeing Jayce in the same universe with Ekko and Heimer makes me think he probably got a much harsher sentence due to killing a child with his experiments. Whether he was banished or killed, not sure, but he probably was made an example of.
If Ekko replaced that worlds Ekko, then Heimerdinger must have replaced that worlds Heimerdinger. He said he had done a lot of good. Seeing as he knew the suffering of the Undercity he most likely meant that he helped bridge the divide between Piltower and Zaun. Atleast that is my theory
This episode made me ugly cry. Seeing what could have been. And I love there is a world where Powder isn't broken, not even by Vi's death. Although I understood the reason, I've never forgiven Vi for punching Powder. Especially as Vander's last words, not 5 minutes before, were, "Take care of Powder." I hate how rushed this season was. So many conversations just passed over in music videos,BUT-it's still a masterpiece, just slightly flawed.
i like to look at it in the perspective that this universe is just as real as the main one, and that somewhere in the multiverse theres a reality where powder is happy. also i agree that this was a bit rushed, but i still think it stuck the landing at the end. all in all a damn near perfect series
This timeline's Powder is wearing Vander's bracelet as a necklace. In our timeline, Vi was wearing it. We can see it in Vander's flashbacks. That's kind of the moment I realized there was no Vi here. This is just the sweetest and the most painful episode in my opinion. Oh, and please check out the translation for Stromae's song. It's beautiful.
One of the co-creators of the show confirmed that they are already working on the next three shows, and one of them has already been in production for over a year. They even said what the next three regions they're focusing on are, Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia.
That's a bummer. I was hoping for Freljord. Cause I wanna see my favorite character be introduced to a wider audience. Braum. That being said, I actually want Fortiche to focus on a Valorant movie.
I enjoyed the tone of this episode after the trauma of the end of episode 6, but this episode is still bittersweet. Arcane has to do this to us! 😮💨 Hope you both feel better and get well!
It is a tragic irony that Vi’s death led to positive outcomes in the world, especially considering the chaos we’ve witnessed over Arcane's two seasons. Her death causes Jayce’s experiments to be put on hold and he likely would’ve been arrested. Without meeting Viktor, Jayce wouldn’t have anyone to stop him from committing suicide, Viktor not meeting Jayce would soon die from his illness. If both Jayce and Viktor die, there would be no Hextech. Without Hextech, there would be no Jesus Viktor and nothing to bring the world to the brink of collapse. Vi's death might also affect Silco who had once promised to help Felicia with her child. He could be moved by her loss and eventually reconcile with Vander, allowing them to work together to make Zaun a better place.Without Silco and Vander fighting, Singed wouldn’t have been able to move in with Silco and create Shimmer. And without that, the events from s 1 ep 3 that led to Mylo and Claggor’s deaths wouldn’t have happened. Without Hextech in Piltover and with Zaun becoming more livable, the two cities cultivated a mutually beneficial relationship, aiming for progress on both sides. It makes me wonder with a disturbing thought perhaps the 'Jinx' isn't Powder, but Vi herself. Yet, considering Vi's character and story, it’s plausible she would willingly sacrifice herself if she knew her death would bring peace and happiness to her loved ones. If she could go back to that pivotal moment, she might choose to die, knowing it would ensure her family’s and friends’ well-being.
My headcanon is that: Jinx manage to learn, understand and weaponize Hextec, using only Viktor's notes. We know Powder has the same potential, even AU Vander recognize it, but she didn't have the drive. That until OG Ekko help her. That also implies that maybe AU Ekko didn't help her in that regard. But here my point: Powder has learn and seen how the machine works, the machine, although broken, is in her possession and she has the rest of the hex gems in her drawer, so...given enough time, she might be able to learn how to jump from her universe to the OG one. It would make me the most emotional thinking about it, Ekko seeing her again and maybe Powder seeing Vi.
Yeah it opens up the possibility but she wouldn't do for now reason. The theme is to "let go" so she wouldn't just seek for it unless she needs it. She has come to accept the loses of those she grew close. So it makes sense if the story needs it but not the current characters.
@@nickp3065 Unfortunately, victor in ep 9 says hextech is inevitable is all universes. So, it is very likely she will experiment with hextech or someone else will.

The episode continually cutting from Ekko living his best life to Jayve living his absolute WORST is unintentionally hilarious. 😅

The blue peony, the flower on the pendant he gave her, symbolizes "unending, unattainble love". K bye, Im off crying in my bed 😭

Jayce selected give me the god of war and ekko got give me an adventure
Ekko was playing life is strange and Jayce got Isekaid into Silent Hill 😭😭

Went from giving Timebomb no consideration to it being OTP. Impressive for one episode.

Correction: not 3 shows but 3 regions. Can be one show
Heimer isn't dead, he's fine don't worry, yordles are immortal. He is just chilling in Bandle City now, he can come back whenever he wants.
Absolutely love the reactions to Arcane but commented because of the Karl Pilkington Bullshit man shirt 😂 love it!
