Everything I talk about is centered around one thing: we might be stuck in a spiral of collapse, and we should avoid it if we can.
The collapse comes from many things, but a major feature of it is the selfishness and dissatisfaction caused by moral degradation and unconstrained ladder-climbing in the sexual marketplace.
Here is my long-overdue answer to the question: "why is promiscuity bad?"

Hello Mr. Hoe Math and fellow Canadian,
Thank you for making that video. I agree with much of what you said.
The USA has become a hyper-individualistic country, and Canada is following suit. In such cultures, personal wants take priority over the greater good, and communal ties of family and society become secondary.
Modern feminism is a symptom of this, not the cause.
The real cause is neoliberal capitalism, which values competition and meritocracy, linking success and wealth to personal value.

Hello hoe math! I am a young teenage girl, and I am curious about a topic (you can draw.)
I have always had a dream to get married, and have kids. My friends tell me, that being a strong independent women is more attractive to a man, and I should be less outgoing about my values. I tend to not be heady, and just tell a guy when I like him, but don’t make the first move. Otherwise I work on myself to make sure I stay valuable. Should I be more difficult? Should I not focus on marriage so much this young?

The best lesson in titanic on dating and marriage is actually very subtle. It’s her pictures at the end near her death bed. It shows her horseback riding, being a mother, flying an airplane. When she got off that boat, she was penniless, a woman with no discernible skills in the 1910s. So who paid for her to live her best life? Her husband. Who gets remembered in the end? The homeless guy!

To be fair, Jack asked her to live the best life she could, so she did. There was another rich guy she was supposed to end up with who was portrayed to potentially be abusive iirc.
Women at that time in American society did not have the ability to be financially independent from men. They didn’t get bank accounts or credit cards until like the 70s… so she couldn’t have that life if she didn’t marry that one guy.
If she lived in this era… she might not have done that.

I think the focus of the “Who’s a 10” video can apply to that situation. In the video he talks about how the women lie to each other about what they think of themselves in order to avoid confrontation but ultimately in order to cultivate and protect their “status”. In the same sense, it’s a point to ponder that a woman who divorces her husband because “he is too perfect”, might not mean that all, but rather applying feminine tactics of social ascension in the hierarchy(which is more like a cabal) to the dissolution of her marriage. Maybe she just wants to have sex with a ton of guys and has to get rid of her husband in a non confrontational way in order to protect status.

But the fact that again the thought “oh they are unhappy they should leave” is so entirely moronic it’s actually laughable. Hence why most marriages end at the ending of the “honeymoon phases” yet SUCCESSFUL marriages are the ones that put their heads down and got through it, including momentary unhappiness.

Back then women learned from their mothers and sisters and their parents helped protect them from making bad decisions. Now they are encouraged by everyone to make poor choices and when those poor choices don't work out, it must be someone else's fault.
At this point the men, as usual, must do the saving - men do this by not rescuing these women from bad choices. Don't date single moms. Don't be captain save-a-304 - leave these women to the results of their poor choices and as another video creator frequently says - "protect yourself at all times". Once the population drops enough by men opting out, things will begin changing - we're already seeing it in other countries like the aforementioned China where the gov't is stepping back in to incentivize marriage and monogamy - men need to avoid marriage until the punitive legal system has major changes. Right now western countries have legal systems that are literally designed to help women prey on men - so keep yourself out of the crosshairs.

      Question:
*Is a person really a "Level 6" if they don't understand that they are Level 6?* Or, even worse, they don't understand that most people will not get past "Level 4" (4:36)?
For instance, I think that I'm "Level 6". I used to be a devout religious person under the banner of Christianity. And not only do I know theological, historical, and sociological reasons why I'm not anymore, I can effectively explain it to someone else, from soup to nuts. This, after studying it for 23 years.
      BUUUUUT...
I'm aware enough to know that most people have not lived in the experiences or done the homework that would even _prepare_ them for such a conversation (more like a field of study). More than that, and in line with the video, *I have reasoned that most people need religion to keep them in line because they never get above "Level 3" (the video's "stuck" people).*
So here I am, a person that does not believe that God works the way I was taught, that chooses not to challenge other people's view of God because I think that those values systems, as flawed and incomplete as they may be, are a net positive for "The Stuck". *Most people will never grow past the need to incorporate Judeo-Christian religion in order for them to be a contributing member of society.* That's what I think it means to be "Level 6" or above.
At the time of this writing, this channel has 496,000 subscribers. *The vast majority of which tune in to see this channel take women to task, have a laugh, and learn little else.* And guess what? I bet they all think that they aren't "stuck".

@@MessageinaBottleComments Commentary: This is, and always will be, a meatbag nature problem any time you want to have a society at all. The more complex the society, the more inter-related & complicated it's systems become, the more important it also becomes to account for certain factors:
*1) Many meatbags need to be made to be decent.*
This is where systems such as religions, police, social morals & customs, parental raising of children all play a factor. Toxic masculinity & toxic femininity MUST be controlled, along with having systems to punish/deal with those who become a threat to the society as well as encourage active investment into the society by the majority of it's members.
Many of these "support pillars" such as the integrity of the nuclear family, involvement of fathers, male authority within the marriage & family, male involvement in early education, checks against bad female behaviors of many types, allowance of previously mostly unacceptable male behaviors ("players" mainly), demonization of good things & endorsement of obviously selfish/destructive things have ALL been happening for decades which has resulted in this rot we see today.
Religion is not (at least by itself) the fix for this, but what IS an important part to understand in it is what you said. Many meatbags *simply do not possess the mental/emotional intellect or introspection or awareness to reach higher orders of thought. That is simply reality, which MUST be accounted for if you wish to have a more or less stable or successful society.
Simultaneously though is a required understanding that _no society in history, EVER, survives without male sacrifice_ so it is paramount for EVERY society to ensure that men remain invested or the society dies. Crack open a history book, America is far from the first which has allowed this entropy to take place to it's predictable conclusion, nor will America be the last for this is a meatbag psychology & behavioral problem.
It is NOT a fair or equal world, it never will be. To structure a society upon that premise in & of itself is faulty, most especially giving power to those who are not investing concretely into said society.
Call me exclusionary & elitist if you will, I absolutely am. Those who operate with the *objectively, meritocratically proven intelligence & qualification* should be the ones making the decisions in almost all cases, for the best outcomes.
*2) Delusion, in all it's forms, should not be tolerated.*
Causality works, it always will. One can ignore reality, but one cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. Therefore in order to have the best outcomes, ALL discourse & choices made should be critically analyzed on many levels particularly when it comes to making sweeping societal decisions like laws & cultural normals.
There is nuance to many things of course but ALL things should be subject to scrutiny & questioning along with being open to change should there be superior logic presented. Not feelings, not magical thinking, not a better manipulation, but *empirical evidence.*
Of course, once again, this ties into the above problem when a significant (or perhaps even a majority of the society) simply does not have the means to analyze these things.
The one form of society which has not been truly tried yet is an objective meritocracy. All other forms of governance have been tried with greater or lesser degrees of success & stability, but the huge hurdle blocking a meritocracy *is that meatbags DO wish to actively deny things they don't like for a great many reasons.*
Of course, humanity can revert back to systems which have been tried before & failed before for a variety of reasons which has typically been the course of choices made over ALL of human history, save for those times where there were truly NEW things that changed a lot.
Delusion, however, is certainly at the top or certainly topping the list of one of the most dangerous threats to a society if allowed. Especially when it is allowed within the halls of power.

The basic idea is to put in the effort and rely on Allah at the same time so that everything will work out smoothly because sometimes things aren't just going our way due to multiple different factors.
It's a simple concept to understand really.
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, the hadith outlines the story of a Bedouin man who was leaving his camel without tying it. The Prophet (PBUH) asked him “Why don’t you tie down your camel?” The Bedouin answered, “I put my trust in Allah.” The Prophet then replied, “Tie your camel first, and then put your trust in Allah.”
It seems simple. Tie the camel, trust in Allah, go about your business.
      Now you know.
May Allah The Almighty guide us all.

TLDR: The point is found in last two paragraphs.
We're more doomed than most realize. There are a not-insignificant group of people who understand the basics and are trying to go back to traditional relationships. The problem is that none of them have ever seen how traditional family structures work. They're leaning into religion, but 90% of religions know what they're talking about.
I'm old and I had an unusual childhood, even for my generation. I grew up in the Alaskan bush with a small group of families. We lived truly traditional lifestyles because it's the only thing that works when you don't have running water or electricity. Religion had ZERO to do with any of it. You may pray to God when you're ambushed by a grizzly, but you need a freaking gun.
Camilla Paglia nailed it when she talked about the traditional Italian lifestyle. There was the world of women and the world of men. Women didn't 'submit' to their husbands. They had their own thing going on and the men had nothing to do with that. Traditional family structure everyone has responsibilities and they keep their eyes on *that*. The men had to do the male jobs because it was impossible for women to do it. There's no way that a woman can spend hours a day chopping and sawing wood with an axe and a hand saw. We CANNOT do it. The men ran out right after breakfast and hunted, trapped, and fished. They brought the kills back and the women took it from there. The women ran the homestead with the betterment of the group first in mind. It was their job to keep everyone fed, portion out the food, keep the kids alive, and tend the fire. The fire was a much bigger deal than people can imagine. The women almost never left the compound because they didn't have time to screw around.
When the men got home, they were completely exhausted. The women would strip them down of their wet, freezing clothes, shove huge portions of food in front of their faces, tend their minor wounds and sore muscles, then pour their exhausted carcasses into bed. It wasn't done with a soft, nurturing, loving spirit. They treated the men the same way one would treat their only draft horse. You took care of it and fed it very well to keep it going strong. All of the women were keenly aware that our lives were dependent on those strong men.
Oddly, there was zero nagging. Nobody had time to bother with what anyone else was doing. Nobody had time for nonsense like 'hobbies.' Such a suggestion would've been laughable. The women sat around the wood stove and mended clothes at night. The men sat around the fireplace in silence and dozed off before too long. On the rare nights when they did chat, it was about their plans for the next day's objectives.
The sheer volume of WORK required to accomplish the basic things without electricity is astounding. Since I was a child I've been aware that feminism didn't do a DAMN thing to liberate women. We were liberated by the washing machine and the dryer. We've been liberated by hot, running water and electric stoves. Don't underestimate the power of the vacuum and commercial canning. Hell, I even appreciate my blender and egg beater on a visceral level. If you ever once try to whip egg whites or make butter by hand, you'll never forget the lessons you learn from the experience.
*Truly traditional marriage is a partnership between two mature ADULTS. They divide up the labor with clearly defined areas of responsibility. They trust each other to take care of their own responsibilities and respect that the other is on top of business - no matter HOW they do it. Between the two of them, all the bases are covered. Together they complete an operating system and keep the ship running smooth.*
Now days, it seems that the misguided 'traditionalists' are relegating women to the position of immature, emotional children who need to be disciplined and guided. I'm disgusted by the women who are leaning into this by infantilizing themselves and refusing to act like responsible adults. The problem with society is that women are BORED and aren't in a position to step up and succeed or drown. Life is just too easy at the moment, we're allowed way too many excuses, and we have too many forces willing to bail us out of the trouble we get into of our own making.

The good thing here is he is mostly educating and SELLING. Most people need to lead by example, and only some people can lead by influence. Being a scold isn’t leading. Oppressing one sex isn’t leading. Blindly following a religious leader isn’t leading.
I’m bothered by the last bit because he talks about making people do what’s good for them. Well, he must be young. That used to be a thing, and led to where we are now as soon as there was a pill that suppressed pregnancy.

Frankly? If I'm not that guy, the "highest default setting", I don't want anything to do with the woman in question. I was that guy a couple times in my younger years, so I do know the difference. And trust me, there's just no comparison. The way you're treated by a woman who feels that sort of raw pull towards you, vs the way you're treated by someone just waiting for a chance to level up is... demoralising, if you're in the latter position. I'll NEVER again put myself through it. And you shouldn't either.
That, of course, is a major problem. Because almost no man can be that man all the time. Hell, most aren't that man even once in their lives. So its not just women who would have to sacrifice their interests to bring society back from the brink. For men, it would mean putting up with women who don't like us, who don't want to be with us, but are forced to by societal expectations. That in itself is invariably an absolutely horrible experience, and I outright refuse to subject myself to it, society be damned.
I understand why women have such a visceral reaction to that scenario. I suspect they feel even stronger about it all than me.

Modern dating is a Skinner Box.
For most men they peck the button a few times, and never get's a seed. After a whole they stop pecking.
Women pecks the button - get's a huge seed - and now they keep pecking and rejecting the smaller seeds - because they deserve the big seed.

My government professor in college at the beginning of his course explained the social contract very simply. We choose to give up certain freedoms and rights to exist within a society. I don't want other people to steal my stuff or kill me, so I have to agree that I won't steal other people's stuff or kill them, and we will all ban together to punish anyone who does these things, otherwise it's chaos. We all agreed on monogamy at a certain point because it's best for society at large. And there was a social contract where we understood the purpose of dating as well as the expectations and responsibilities of being in such a relationship. But now we've thrown that social contract out the window to "do what we want" instead, regardless of the damage it deals to other people or society.

It's because you guys have personal biases that out extend everything else that is out of your field of vision. You don't know and you can't know every human's personal experience. The other aspect of this is that as the 7s and below men increasingly don't and can't win female attention/attraction, they increasingly drop out of society. Over time, then, the infrastructure begins to crumble; slowly at first, but then more and more noticeable: bridges, airplanes, communication systems, roads, plumbing, etc. Right now, I imagine that there are enough hard-working , old-fashioned men keeping a lot of things afloat, but as the next generations have fewer incentives to do this back-breaking work, society will keep crumbling. That's my real fear. I'm not sure that women understand how much of a motivator they are for us to win the world for them. When we have children and family looking up to us, we'll do just about anything to provide and protect; but without those incentives, we'll do barely just enough to survive.

All that decor and the clutter and crap, is what women prefer. So when society collapses, these guys will be fine....because they don't need much to begin with. Oldest trick in the book. I had a female friend who fell for that. I dumped her friendship too. 😊

Oxytocin is supposed to make promiscuity harder for women by inducing emotional attachment ... thus, making them a gatekeeper. However, estrogen potentiates oxytocin, and birth control binds to free bound estrogen, reducing its impact on the CNS, and thus, limiting the emotional attachment response from sex ... making promiscuity and birth control a positive feedback loop.
Or for males, the way my hispanic friend put it in perspective ...he asked:
Buuuut ... would you sport her at the mall.?

The problem with social conventions is that they are almost always established and promoted by the most morally bankrupt individuals in society. Tarnishing the credibility of any social convention and relegating them to just "rules for the peasants"
The best way to have moral rules like that is to apply them to the top first. That way, we know that society is serious about them.

For me and marriage (in the UK), it's relatively simple - marry girl, have kids, girl wants divorce out of nowhere, takes all of stuff and money for maintenance, guy now broke and lives on sofa. This has happened to loads of my friends in the 40's, having to start all over again whilst their ex lives in their home and is now with a new guy who has made no effort in life, and barely gets to see his own kids!!
Where is my protection from this? Why would I enter this type of situation? If I could be protected from losing everything I have struggled to get, I would enter a marriage with open arms. Until then, no thanks...
