A female coworker of mine asked me for guy advice. She said that her boyfriend looked the way she wanted him to and made the money that she wanted him too, but she didn’t like that he “ONLY” had a BA degree and not a Masters.
    I asked her 3 questions:
    1. How long have you been together? A: 8yrs
    2. Do you think he has ever cheated on you? A: No.
    3. Has he proposed? A: Yes, and I said no because of the missing degree.
I told her the moral thing to do is to leave him so that he can have the life he deserves. The selfish thing to do is stay with him ruining his Chance of a happy and healthy marriage.

Christianity, practiced properly, says the same thing: "you don't deserve anything but hellfire, so literally anything else that you receive is a gift and should be appreciated as such". That's what humility is - knowing and accepting your place and role in Creation.
Some sects of Christianity (like Catholicism) take it a bit too far and end up with a guilt complex, others (like most Protestants) take it not nearly far enough and end up with a God complex, but the middle ground there is a really comfy spot to be in: everything in life is a gift and brings joy when you rid your vocabulary of the word "deserve".

What I hate about this is that many women have unrealistic expectations regarding a man’s sexual experience. We often want to be their first and only intimate encounter, yet paradoxically, most women expect men to already know what to do in the bedroom. This double standard is confusing and unfair. Moreover, there’s the expectation that they shouldn’t learn from porn, as it can create unrealistic ideas and involve seeing other women’s bodies, which many of us find uncomfortable. But the reality is, intimacy is unique to each relationship and situation. Regardless of past experiences or lack thereof, both partners have to learn and adapt together, so it’s really pointless to get hung up on it.

Once again, the idea of a man’s future earning potential is not even considered in their math. Every married man I’m related to got married when they were young and broke but developed wealth with their wives over the span of time. This used to be common. Not a single one of these women would seem to consider that now, even though cost of living is higher than ever. They are all waiting at the finish line instead.

If we are talking the light green yes, and I've seen it happen a lot, I think a lot of youtuber's sit in that category. Guy is single, than he blows up, next thing you know he has a gf, if the relationship last for a while, bam MARRIED! Or guy has humble beginnings, something happens, either he blows up by surprise because he got famous from some social media post or his dad died and he inherited papa's wealth. Dude finds a girl or his existing girl becomes his wife, game over 😂
Middle class guy, goes to prestigious university, gets engaged during graduation, if there's no infidelity, the deal is sealed 😂 either he consummates her later or they get married and he consomates her. These dudes go swiftly.
Now that you've mentioned it I think the light green is the sweet spot.
If we are talking the dark green no! Those guys are the least trustworthy especially if they made it to that spot before they've met their lover. They are far more likely to be single by choice not to preserve themselves but because they do not want a partner, they want to lead women on and play with them until they are bored with them. They have so many women offering themselves to them they feel they have no reason to settle just like women when they have a bunch of male options only with the difference being. The men in these positions 90% aren't interested in love, only God knows when they'll grow a heart if they ever do and your along for the ride.

At my most attractive (23-25, I was like a 7) I was poor as hell, which lost me a lot of chances. Now I'm 38 and doing well above average, have a house, etc. My looks are definitely worse and my experience is terrible (since I gave up on dating and focused on work). I've had to go through my darkest times completely alone, so now I don't really see a need to have someone around. Like what exactly are you going to offer me, Ive already proved I'm fine by myself.
Would have been nice for someone to have had faith in me, as I would have had faith in them, but nobody did, so here we are. Most of us don't 'deserve' anything, the good or the bad, we just reap the rewards of ours and others choices.

I’m so glad you said it! They didn’t have “able” on their list because women are no longer willing to build with a man.
It used to be that neither party had anything when you meet. Many used to meet in high school, early college or at work in a starter position. Everyone lived at home with parents or a crappy apartment you shared with roommates. It takes time to build but you used that time to build a relationship while building assets and stability. Then you get to get married and start a family. It took work and sacrifice on both sides. That is how as a woman you “deserved” this high value man. You invested in him becoming that man.
Now days a woman wants a man who already has built on his own. She doesn’t want to invest in him or sacrifice anything for him to become high value. But still wants to “deserve” him. Modern women have decided that because she’s “pretty” and has lots of admirers on social media and dating apps that she is also high value. Which is nuts because there are countless millions of “pretty” women with countless admirers.

They figured they would be able to tell when the rat understood the rules when the rat consistently picked just the one that he liked more. Instead, one day, the rat just sat there in the center, and from that day on never made a choice. Turns out he would rather have the option of choice, and get nothing, than pick one if it means losing the option for other. This is where we are today with dating apps.

I’ve heard whispers of a hidden fourth axis-'deserve'-but it’s so elusive, no one’s ever been able to see it...

'Deserve' used to be codified in the ancient codex known as 'marriage contract' where both parties had obligations to the other.

Most of my male friends who are doctors and lawyers met their wives when they were broke students. Many of their now-wives paid for all of their living expenses when they were in medical/law school. Some of those women even worked two jobs to write 30k tuition checks to their law school. These women picked struggle guys and ran every mile of the race with them. Now they are married to top 1% income-earners. Just a thought

What do you call a person who finished last in their class at medical school? Doctor. Women who date medical or law students know that their potential husbands are going to make 6 figures regardless so are willing to put in the effort.

@@archstanton9073 Sure. My point however, was that these women who married these doctors and lawyers didn’t just “date” them. These women “supported” them. Emotionally and sometimes financially in huge ways. That’s why they have a man who can support them in a big way financially now. Dating takes minimal effort. Paying all the bills for you and your partner for multiple years while they go to school is a big sacrifice. There’s a reason those men keep them for the big payoff. Most women seem to believe they deserve the payoff but for having done nothing.
