The Patriots HOF (some NFL HOFers) is full of players released by Bill before their decline.
With some rare exceptions (Brady) it was a necessary part of having 20 year dominance.
Bill has been the only piece held past the point of decline.
Seriously speaking I would rather just give up on the season , say 3-4 wins?, and wind up with pick 1-5 than try and salvage what would have been a 6 or 7 win season at best. That being said Kraft needs to make sure if Bill is still coach that he isn’t GM and has nothing to do with the upcoming draft, in fact I would go so far as to say there better be a mandate that only offense can be drafted rounds 1-5 and no running backs and guards can be drafted.
Post No Bills! New coach, new offense and ST, defense should be fine.
The franchise can't move forward until Bill is fired. Enough is enough with these horrific drafts and personnel decisions.
Give him a chance to rebuild the scouts and the staff a little. You forget how much this team loses coaches and scouts to other teams
The biggest problem is the qb and that was a Kraft pick
2006 and 2015 are Belichick's WORST Drafts, but 2019, 2020, and 2022 are a hair's length away from being that level of bad.
Even the 2007 and 2017 Draft classes were atrocious busts, despite along side being shallow on total selections.

What I don’t understand is how you guys have been around this team from the draft, mini camps, training camps and 5 games and have picked them to have double digit wins and go to the playoffs and All of a sudden they don’t have talent and Mac Jones has been bad.. They don’t draft well/personnel decisions and stale coaching. All of a sudden it’s obvious?
Bingo Patriots media is embarrassing. Tom said with a straight face they could win 11-12 games what a dumb thing to say. Greg Bedard has propped up Bill O’Brien and Mac jones all off-season. Barth Lazar are all Mac jock riders. The bias is exactly the opposite of what the job is supposed to be.
Remember them saying they’d take Mac over Tua or he could do what Hurts is going in Philadelphia. Such a joke Hurts has like 30 rushing touchdowns mac isn’t doing any of that.
It started with benching Butler in the superbowl in the 2017 season. Next was trying (but thankfully failing) to trade Gronk to the Lions. Bill is lucky Brady's greatness won them 1 more superbowl in 2018. Then Bill drafted N'keal freaking Harry over AJ Brown, Deebo Samuel, and DK Metcalf. (Drafting Sony Michel instead of Nick Chubb was also an error but Michel did at least help win a superbowl). Then Kraft ruined his reputation and I believe cursed the team with his happy ending scandal. The team has never been the same since. Gronk retired, Brady left (because Bill wouldn't give him what he deserved and he also saw what was coming and was pissed about how bad a GM Belichick is). They aren't winning another superbowl while Robert Kraft is the owner, and not while Belichick is the coach. It was an awesome 9 superbowls that Pats fans got to enjoy even though they lost a few. The absolute best dynasty in all sports in the world ever. But all things must end and it is time for change. We need a new coach, a real GM, and real OC and and real DC. And possibly a new owner even if it's Jonathan Kraft (but I get sketchy vibes from him so idk if they will even win 1 with him as owner). I actually don't care if we never win 1 more superbowl because no one that any of us know who are fans of other teams will ever win 6 superbowls let alone go to 9 (or 10 for the diehard Brady fans). 😂😂
They won that SuperBowl 13-3 against a team that had the most productive offense in the NFL that season. Fans saying what you are saying are embarrassing and are the reason national NFL fans poke fun at NE's arrogance.

And Brady also made the game winning throw to Gronk at the end of the superbowl! I know football 10x better than you so don't even try to debate me. If you watch my only video on youtube I predict Brady wins the superbowl in Tampa first year and Pats don't even make the playoffs (and the only reason I uploaded it was to email the link to Felger and Mazz to show how wrong they were 😂) and how accurate was I? I appreciate what Bill did but it's over for him time to move on. I would 100% rather have Deion Sanders as coach next year or the year after and anyone other than Mac Jones as QB.

I remember the 1980s when the Steelers were facing decline. Chuck Noll could’ve drafted Dan Marino. Instead he picked a nose tackle who crashed his car in October of his rookie season & was paralyzed. Bradshaw snapped a tendon in his elbow 2 months later after being out for injury the most of the previous 2 seasons & never played another snap. The Dolphins destroyed us with like 42 points in the 1984 AFC CG & then that Steelers QB signed with the USFL. Hello darkness my old friend. All the Patriot media ppl who’ve benefited from the success of the Pats the last 20 years in their own careers will get their last attention calling for Belichick’s firing. In Pittsburgh it only took another 8 years. 😂

Belichick won't say it, but he has had assistants in this debacle. Scouting, drafting and professional player groups report to Matt Groh--lots a bad Juju, huh? Troy Brown is WR coach. Adrian Klemm is OL coach. Joe Judge is ST and semi HC. BOB isn't looking good--who is QB coach? Mac was fine as a rookie under McDaniels, then got screwed by Judge/Patricia, then gets a mostly unchanged offense in year three. Outside of pulling a fire alarm at 3AM before as game, how could the coach impair a promising QB more?
BB' 's mind is going. It simply isn't what it was. He needs to have a medical checkup. He may have early dementia. He needs to take responsibility and resign for the sake of the Pats. And he needs to play mobile Malik in Vegas!
The pats need a total rebuild! And a new player personal person!

Kraft needs to step in, if not for himself he needs to step in for his customers “aka Patriots fans” and fire Bill. I’m done with this waiting game. I watched every game from 1999-2022 but quit watching halfway through last season because of how boring the product is that they put out on offense. I don’t understand what Kraft is waiting for. Nobody cares about the stupid new screen they put in at Gellett stadium, we care about the product on the field. They have been BORING to watch for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Nobody wants to spend their Sunday afternoon watching a team struggle to score 9 points a game. I don’t even care that they are losing as much as I care about how they are losing, they are just so boring to watch on offense. 3 and out punt, 3 and out punt, interceptions, punt, fumble, punt, interception, 3 and out..Like I said I stopped watching last season because 10-14 points a game was bad enough, this season I’m only watching the highlights on TH-cam and to my surprise it’s gotten even worse lol. And even Mac “I know he has nothing to work with” is boring, he’s got the worst arm I’ve ever seen, why would Belichick draft a QB with a noodle arm to play Quarterback in New England outdoors? Lmao the weather sucks up here and he literally has zero velocity on any of his throws, no zip what so ever! Any gm with a brain would know that if you play in an outdoor stadium located in the Northeast through out the fall and winter months that YOU NEED A QB WITH AN ARM! Meyers was not a good slot but he was a good football player
juju contract is significantly worse. Meyers overestimated his market value and was lucky that the Raiders took him at that number. There are reports out there that the Patriots made him an offer similar to Juju and he didn't take it. All this talk just shows that most people still have no idea how things work and it's especially shocking for people who talk about the NFL for a living.
It is time to move on from Bill and Mac.

Bledsoe was really good for his day and way above anything Mac has shown us. Parcells and Bledsoe brought the Patriots to a Super Bowl.

I'm 43 and a bit younger than you. How is it you couldn't see this coming? I know young people don't know their ass if they held it with their own two hands, but I'd like to have thought you could see this coming. Now they're 1-5 after losing to the Raiders. Brady was more than just a QB. He was the one consistent that had been there for 20 years for the offense. Especially when the vast majority of Bill's drafts, FA signings, and contracts, were focused on the defense. He was basically a WR coach and OC while being the QB who took less than half of the league year after year after year...
Belichick also has a losing record without Brady. Look at his record with both the Browns and New England, over 10 years where he didn't have Brady as QB. Don't try and make excuses for him. Actually take a look. 10 years is plenty of time to evaluate a person's career when you remove a single piece from the equation.

The dominance of 2001-18 never happens if Belichick doesn’t make the choice to stick with Tom Brady when Drew healed up. If Drew never gets hurt, does Bill have the balls to bench him? Maybe, but I doubt it. The dynasty has depended more on picking the greatest QB of all time with the 199th pick, and having the other, very durable franchise QB sustain a freak injury at a time when the young guy was ready to take over, and early enough in the season that the hole wasn’t too deep, than it did on Belichick’s x’s and o’s genius. It was a great run is all I have to say.

You don't need a GOAT QB, Head Coach, Offensive Line Coach(the last one doesn't get the accolades the former two get, BTW) to win - other teams that have won have proven that
Brady went to TB, he took care of the offense and with a great defense he won
Bill can do the same - he always, always has a great defense
I live in Chicago, here they lose one great DE, and the whole defense falls apart
In NE, they lose great players year after year and they still field a great defense
All he need is an ok offense, a QB who won't make mistakes and that's where the Pats are lacking
Go get an experienced QB like the Rams did and the Pats will be in the thick of things again
Kirk Cousins, maybe even Dak Prescott might be available next year

Our fanbase are absolutely high with the results of that poll. Punting from the 40 down 24 when your offense has proven I think 8-9 times in drives that game they could do nothing is somehow the pivotal moment? Not the fumble that took away the halftime possession advantage? Not the INT that erased two defensive stops early and the possession advantage? People do not understand this sport.
