Didn't Tomase write an article 4 months ago saying "Sorry Sox fans, Theo Epstein is not coming back".
There's another aspect here that I'm hoping, in time, we'll get some visibility on (maybe it's a Hohler piece. My outside the box take is that FSG isn't just expanding its portfolio--it's delving into the fringes of geopolitics. Remember that I said this). I don't think it's coincidental that his comes just a couple days after the PGA announcement. Seems obvious now that FSG trimmed its sails for a while leading up to that deal--it would make sense given the size of that investment. So, now will we see perhaps some air go back INTO those sails, and Theo's going to have an active role in that? I think so.
God Bless you for this video and Perspective on the Theo signing. Thank you for saying everything that needed to be said! Theo was not brought in to be pushed to the back of the room!
Stop the bs, he is now part of ownership. They will milk the cash cow and then sell.
Well he will sit back and watch! Because if he wanted to watch them win he would’ve taken the head job but he didn’t! He will run the whole sports side of Fenway sports!!!
This is awesome news! I don't think the Red Sox are as bad as the media and the fans think. As a Red Sox fan I'm excited for the youth coming up but we need pieces to stay competitive year in and year out. I'm ready to see what Theo encourages Henry to do to improve
I feel the same the Red Sox fucking suck
