    The adjustable throttle is only on the four strokes. That one there is just loose. The tool on the clutch cover will tighten it up. Great review.

    2019 MXZ Blizzard 600R .My brake lacked travel at first but once it was broken in it got better. Everyone says it's twitchy . The rear suspension needs to be adjusted to your weight . It makes a big difference .Jerky - yes the clutching is designed to work that way with the P Drive . I know it's not for everyone. I've found the best way to enjoy the sled is to ride hard and fast. Have the same sled I found tuning the ski's an rear skid helps alot with the twitchy-ness of mines stays planted an rides like it's on rails

    The thottle housing was loose. Not suppose to move on cable throttle machines.

    I’ve got a 2020 900T XRS and love it but I’ll be going back to a 850 next. I don’t like the seat it’s to soft and the front is a bit to heavy.

    Enjoy yours and Paisteboys videos very much. I have owned 15 snowmobiles, 8 being skidoos. Been out of snowmobiling for a while, but want to get back into it. I am thinking of ordering a Ski Doo Backcountry Sport. I like long tracks, having had Renagades, and most of my riding is in Old Forge. Wondering what your opinion is on my choice, and especially the new 600 efi engine.

    • @Revrider550
      @Revrider550  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and welcome back to the sport! Unfortunately I havent ridden a sled with the 600 efi yet but it should be a good engine. Efi will make it easy to use and should be decently efficient. The Backcountry is a fun sled. It does have a narrower ski stance than the regular renegade at 40.5 inches wide at its max. The 2021 renegade is 42.5 at its narrowest and 43.9 at its widest so that will definitely change on trail handling. But as long as you plan to get off trail with it, it is a fun feature of the sled. The C-motion is a great skid as well. Handles great on trail and still transfers weight well for when you get off trail.

    I think a 1.75 hurricane or BC track on the new renegade with some wider skis would be a sweet set up and a good all around sled for trails and flatland off trail riding. I just wonder how well it would lift up the front end.

    • @Revrider550
      @Revrider550  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that would be a fun sled! That's one thing I always enjoy about uncoupled sleds the front end lift off trail. Just makes them a little more fun in my opinion. From the Rmotion sleds I've ridden front end lift isn't necessarily easy but I'm sure with some suspension adjustments it could be. Plus with a 1.75 lug and deep enough powder most sleds should be able to lift the front end.

    My 2019 900 XRS is very heavy to steer, even more so than a Sidewinder. And you’re right the brake lever sucks as do the brakes

    • @iloveyoualot4237
      @iloveyoualot4237 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      E S are 900 4 strokes? If so you should have gotten the 850 since 2 strokes are much lighter

      I love you a lot had an 850, but i like the reliability of a 4 stroke

      Your 900 isn’t supposed to be harder to steer than a sidewinder do you have the stock carbides?

      I think arctic cat is a little cautious at what they do because of the market sinse winters are hit or miss plus all unsold purple sledds for them to release 2021 sledds prices and snowcheck in February it shows where Polaris knocks it out the park and now skidoo ups the anti Yamaha is just following along its kind of a shame how arcticat and Yamaha just roll along and skidoo and Polaris are kicking ass and taking names next year might be a wait and see

    • @Revrider550

      Nope. Polaris never brings their new sleds to our demo rides. Its pretty disappointing. Always current year sleds rather than next years.

    Great vid! Thanks for the insight. Planing to snow check, in a few weeks, a Renegade X with the 600r. A few buddies I ride with suggest an 850. What are your thoughts?

    • @Revrider550
      @Revrider550  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got thinking about it while editing and I think most of the low end power I felt it lacked was just the difference of coming from the 6000RR with slightly more aggresive clutching and this is just a lot smoother once you're above 5 or 10 mph. For the speeds most of us use these sleds at it i think the 600r has the power to be a fun sled for sure I think you will definitely enjoy it. It's got that mid range to carry speed and still have some punch when you want it.

      Thanks bud. It’s roughly 1800$ more to step up to an 850etec here in Ontario so I’m just trying to gauge if it’s worth the extra coin. I do mostly trails with some off trail play time in between.
