I added some reverse lights. I feel like they are pretty essential.
I sometimes run underglow when I do deliveries during the night. I've gotten some nice compliments from my customers, young and old, about it, and even noticed a slight bump in my tips. Depending on the market, an underglow kit might increase your tips on food deliveries.
You ever get chased down by a motorcycle gang while driving with that underglow.

@@mrred5260 Nope. Usually, if a motorcycle gang is nearby, I move over to the rightmost lane and let them pass. I don't bump into many motorcycle gangs around these parts, and if I do, they're usually chilling at some gas station. That and I don't know of any biker gangs with military base access -- if I have a base delivery, then they can't follow me if they don't have credentials.
If anything i would think it lowers tips
@@dr3nch_g0d52 It would depend on your market, demographics, customer attitudes, and other factors. Not every market is the same but around my area, the folks seem to dig it. If I ever move to a different city and find that the opposite is true, I could always keep the lights off since I have them wired to a rocker switch. No biggie.

Nah... We can leave those in the past. I rarely see those applied and not look tacky, especially on today's vehicles.
Seats, steering wheel, shifter, or even shift knob. They all create a better feel with your car.
Especially for those canyon cruisers being able to feel more connected and confident
Yes especially since alot of cars don't have very supportive seats. Also shift nob is my favourite mod and I'm making 80whp more then stock and still shift nob nicest thing I've done. Like wise weighted daytona pro feels incredible
You're lucky that you are able to get your FIRST car at age 13. My parents are still to paranoid about me just giving their cars a car wash ...hehe..

I have actually received my first car when I was 13 still am thirteen and got it for free my dad got it front his boss it was his wife's they split she brought a smaller car and now I have a Subaru legacy wagon twin turbo haha

I installed underglow on my little sister's base model Lancer. I thought I would hate it, and I still wouldn't do it on MY car, but it looks pretty slick.

For me initially it was air suspension. I felt like it was another way to look good parked. But I realize the benefits exceed that single thought
All I got to say is that when I buy my dream car, wheels, tires, and suspension will probably be my first 3 mods. Hopefully I'll purchase them from Fitment Industries LOL

Getting a tune imo is one of the best mods you can ever do. Definitely your tires rims and brakes are a must!
Underglow is good when done right. Like highlighting your massive intercooler.
Agreed on tires. I run 595's so I can do many burnouts and slides. They are a hard compound. My wife's car has a soft compound Coopersport RS3 Z. When she stops and turns, it stops and turns.
Whenever I look at my 2018 Camaro 2SS Hot Wheels Edition I always end up being so thankful that I changed the side markers. I got smoked LED side markers from Diode and it completely changed the car. Such a small thing, but it is honestly one of my favorite mods.
I put a short ram intake on my Corolla and it sounds so good. I would argue that you aren't actually decreasing filtration that much by switching to an oiled filter. I think short rams are generally a smarter idea because of the whole sucking up water risk with a cold air intake. Plus, with the short ram you can display the filter in plain sight in your engine bay and it is easier to service. Also from what research I tried to do, the short ram is generally louder. I hear some absolutely awesome intake sounds now... 10/10

Ordered a pair of HSD coilovers for my Hyundai elaborate gt. I live in the suburbs of Chicago, where the roads aren't too great. It's nice being able to lower the ride height and adjust the dampening, but if you're not driving on smooth road, it doesn't feel great, especially with the stock 17s

The thing about spacers is you have to get the right ones. I'm using a pair only on the rear of my 97 camaro to give it a staggered stance look to compliment my lowering springs. The best thing to do is get a set of hub centrics and balance the wheel and the spacer at the same time. Eliminates vibration from possibly poor casting for a smoother ride.
man, here in brazil pure ethanol (E100) is really common, and most cars can run on it from factory, for exemple, my 2019 Civic runs on pure ethanol from day one

I love under glow! Always have and it wasn't until a few months ago and at 39 years old, I finally put it on a car! My B5 and really thinking about putting it on my B8.

I have To Extenza HP2 255\40\18 w rated and I have to say Toyo has a life long customer out of me untill I get a sub par product. They are aggressive and super grippy in the dry and I have ultimate confidence in the rain. I was gonna get some Nexen N'fueras and the tire guy talked me into the Toyos and I am so glad I took his opinion.

Wheels under 20”. I like a wheel that fills up my wheel well,but as I got older I realized you didn’t need huge rims to make your car look good. I now would put 18x8” with some spacers and some adjustable coil overs. This way it looks good,rides good, and I save some cash.

For the car mods I changed my mind about, ANYTHING ENGINE WISE FOR A 4 CYLINDER.
I let my dad convince me for so long that 4 cylinders weren't worth modifying, and that if you want an engine to modify, you should always get an i6, a supercharged v6, or a V8, nothing else, but since I got my Accord the outlook changed COMPLETELY. Even with less power, it's much faster than my old car (I chalk it up to the transmission being A. a 5 speed and B. having less shifting issues as a fuel electronic rather than hybrid electronic vacuum system), and even as simple a mod as simply yanking out the intake battle was enough to HEAVILY improve my perception of driving it.
I bought a 67 c10 from the original owners back when I was 13 for $500. My first mod was a new engine and tranny. Had a 283 and power glide.
350 swap, th350 tranny, disk and power brakes, headers, aluminum radiator and reupholstering the seat. That’s about all I did, that and some old school slot Mags. Now it’s got a 502 big block
I got used pilot super sports on decent wheels for my focus for cheap. They're grippy and cool-looking but OH MY GOD THE ROAD NOISE
dyed my headliner black and installed rolls Royce headliner, best investment for my interior besides a steep/speaker system.

Speaking on tires, I really need to invest in some stickier performance ones. I’d imagine they would actually save me money in the fact that they would lost traction way less on launches instead of my current 1-2-3rd gear burnouts that happen and shred my tires

I just got a 2021 Subaru sti I bought an AEM cold air intake do I have to do additional mods and tune the car before installing, will installing it without additional parts eventually compromise my engine, will this void my warranty??

Underglow should have never left. I’ve been a HUGE fan of underglow ever since it came out. I’ve always had underglow on my cars. Even on my HHR that I lowered 2", I just put 2 8" strips in each wheel well to a switch and shit looked hella clean. Now once I finish lowering my Silverado ima be doing a full halo around the truck, under body and wheel wells too.

I plasti dipped my wheels for $80 and i totally get the appeal. So cheap for a decent outcome from a complete beginner.
Saved almost 30lbs switching rims and tires and boy I gotta say Perelli P-Zero no joke.
I saved 40.4 lbs (RPF-1's 18x7.5 48mm) with Firestone Indy 500's. Pilot Sport 4 which is what the car came with were $100 a each more.

Haha yeah, my 05 deville has led underglow and led lighting up the grill and bumper air vents, it’s lowered on coilovers also. I have interior led lights too. I have powder coated my wheels too, they are this crazy metallic oil slick look on a pearl white chromaflare painted Cadillac with custom black single projector led headlights.

honestly i used to be hella ignorant about ppl modding their cars, like being “riced out” and what not but now i totally see the appeal and lik i respect all builds now bc owning and modding your car whether it’s for performance or for looks, or even both, it’s all about personality and it’s just genuinely a fun thing to do, so to all those out there that have “riced out” cars, more power to ya, i love ya shit keep it up 💪💪

Ahhhhhh turbo provides cruisers where the jam the only likeable one just as the neon srt4 was the only good neon. Had the chance to drive a few turbo pts in the past..limited edition or whatever.

I used to hate air suspensions now I understand how useful they can be.
I just bought my first turbo car and tossed the stock baffled intake to a ZZP CAI and man you can really really hear the turbo and it’s sweet sweet noises now! The car feels a little bit more responsive with throttle input. But I bought it for the noises! 2014 Cadillac ATS 2.0t I also have downpipe, 67mm throttle body, e85.

Tints. This is a car mod i changed my mind on. I used to think that it is difficult to drive with tinted windows and plus it looks suspicious but now i think a slight tint on windows is must because of the sun and uv rays, lights at night which make you go blind plus it looks cool as well.

I begged to differ on Intakes..iv had some cars that really ran a hell of alot better with that extra air. No not 50hp but still and iv had alot of cars and intake them all and my celica was a huge difference js
I have a mate with adapters on his Suzuki and one time one came loose. The wheel fell off and he had to drive it back from the back of the farm to the trailer with 3 wheels. Obviously it takes a hammering tho because it's a 4x4 and it has oversize tyres.

Yeah putting lighter wheels on are one of the best things I think you can do. Lower rotational mass, faster acceleration, better gas mileage and better braking distance. It’s basically a win win. You can lose!!

GT Cruiser and HHR Turbo both are fairly easy to go 12's or faster. The transmission in the GT is weaker than the SRT-4 and no they don't swap. HHR has the same drivetrain as the Cobalt SS Turbo, but with the optional automatic transmission. Record for the GT Cruiser is 11 seconds.
