    You're replacing Iridium spark plugs with Platinum? For the trouble of labor removing and installing with the cap and other gadgets in/and around the spark plugs, plus you need twice as many per cylinder, I would think paying a little bit more for Iridium or double iridium would be worth the extra cost.
    I do have to say thank you though for sharing because I needed some idea of what it takes to take apart the cover and what nots to access the spark plugs before I may decide I would just pay someone to do it. This video serves its purpose and I appreciate that.

      Thank you for your comment, as for the platinum spark plugs, I honestly prefer to replace them every 30,000 km myself rather than risking of breaking one plug in the cylinder head...

    I own a 2000 CLK320 and recently a spark plug went out/died...#1) Spark plug..
    I just also bought some MGK double platinums to replace the damaged one..
    I want to swap them all out soon in order to make sure I don't burn out another one.
    But they are sort of expensive so I'll buy a few at a time (need 12 Total)
    I'm gonna take mine to Local service shop to get the Guarantee work, but they charge 145$ per hour pretty expensive

      It is an easy work and satisfying if you could do it yourself, just takes time... I changed mine in 2 days to avoid back pain ;)

    I have a question did you have any problems with back Suspension when driving into a hard bump did it fill like back went to the side

    • @MaxReviewss
      @MaxReviewss  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the car drives great, no suspension issues at all.

    Hello thanks for being so informative, did you have the firing order for the 6 cylinders?

    • @MaxReviewss

      Hi mate, yes check the visual firing order on benz world: www.benzworld.org/threads/where-is-the-first-cylinder-on-my-m112-v6.2142081/

    • @MaxReviewss

      It's only degreaser, to clean the valve cover 17 years of dirt and dried grease is difficult to get rid of with anything else...

    It always amazes that some would put the Shitty cheap Japanese plugs in a fine German car. Un-fukkkking-believable.

      I think a mechanic is needed here….overtightening a spark plug and snapping it is on the cards.
