30 years old? Japanese motorcycle only took 5 years to be much more worst than that. What is the secret?

I have 2005 Mercedes c230 kompressor I have shifter issue. Once you put a used shifter does it have to be programmed to your car? Because dealer is telling me it need to be flash and programmed to my car. Also I have bought used one from eBay and it matched exact number once I install used one it didn’t solve my issue. Then I took my car to the dealer and they saying it need to be brand new and programmed to my car. Also I have changed the conductor plate and does that also need to be programmed? Please help thanks

It is sad toyota doesn't make these type of aurions sportivo anymore. They are such steong cars with a V6 engine.

The car manual of recent Toyota hybrids clearly states 0w16 but Toyota dealerships in the Netherlands all put 5W30 oil in the engine when you bring it in for service. Some will even refuse to put 0w16 in claiming it's not as good for the engine. When I first learned of this I suspected dealerships to want to make a quick buck off unsuspecting customers by putting in slightly cheaper oil, but since they all seem to have agreed to do it I think the reasons are more related to Dutch climate (temperate with fairly mild winters and summers, temperatures average out to 0C in winters and 20C in summer although extremes have been getting worse) and road conditions (good infrastructure and very little elevation). A few mechanics I asked about it seem to confirm this line of thinking, additionally they said the only difference between 0W16 and 5W30 is going to be slightly higher engine efficiency resulting in lower emissions when using the former, which they claim is also why the manual recommends this oil (legal requirement to meet the emission standards given for the model by the manufacturer) Are they on to something or is this really just a reason to cheap out on maintenance cost?

My Westinghouse seems to do the same. Press Mode and all comes good.

It's very important to respect the tightening torque! 20Nm Torque Specs NGK => Cast Iron: 18-25.3 lb. ft. Aluminum: 18-21.6 lb. ft.

I have a 722.6 gearbox in a W204 C200 Merc. I drained about 4.5 l from the tran. first, and then 4.75 l from the torque converter. The torque converter has its own drain plug. Of course I replaced the filter too.

There’s actually mounting points for a fan housing BMW makes (or made). Police models came with that original fan installed. Even if you can’t (or won’t) buy the original part, you could make a support bracket for a generic fan, using those original mounting points because I believe those cable ties will not last long with the radiator heat (and they could eventually caught fire).

And, Max, if I may further ask you, seeing that you had a Nulon oil product. In my old Ford when bought new, I added NULON E10 oil additive for extra protection against friction. Can I do this on my Toyota Hybrid when I ..finally..have it delivered in December 2024? Thanks again!!

Hello, you sound like a fellow-Aussie ☺ After watching your video tip, I Googled the oil needed for Toyota Yaris Cross, and found it to be 0W 20.( Synthetic) Is this a significant difference? What goes with such a variable answer to this question? I live in Sydney which is NEVER really cold, but often miserably, 3rd world, hot in those torrid months of December to March each bleeding year 😂 Thank you!!!

One of my ignition switches just fell off because the adhesive holding the unit onto a tiny plate just decided to let go so one recever was just blended by the crank shaft 😅

I live in Housto, TX.... a few days ago a Tornado pushed three buttons, one was in Downtown, however, after one of the angels pour lightnings, hailed, and everything else.... lights went out, at everywhere, includding my comunity... I've seen snakes swimming, a small gator chasing it.... aliens at the forest... McDonald's, BK, everything closed.... sucks😁then, the lights came on about 3 days later... at this point I was wondering how to eat the curtains with just bread, but thanks God the lights came back.... everything too, except the Oven.... it's blinking and that's all it does. Earlier today I went to see a guy who sells Ovens, appliences... all used by the way.... the cheapest Oven, rusty, beat up, with all different parts..... $280.00 My last resort: The three button strike... if it doesn't work..... don't know what to do. I'll let you know. Thanks.
