Those wheels look the same as on my Hayabusa.. but polished
Lovely wheels, Brembos
I can seriously smell that two stroke smell. Fantastic looking and sounding bike!
@TheFlaneur-up1ft thanks for watching my video. Rob
wow
Nicer today than it ever was.
@@bg1-v6r thanks 😊
This is a nice example. My mate had the darker Blue version and I had the Kwaka GT550 shaft. About the most reliable bike I ever had. His GT was quicker...a lot quicker.
My dad had one in the early 70s. Same colour as this, but with orange velour interior and was an automatic. Really lovely looking car.
I agree, stunning looking cars and very rare now! Rob
How does the oil mixer work on that one? I had one exactly like that when I was a kid I always mix my oil with the gas. I never bothered with the oil tank under the seat.
Superb
Was it repainted ? Mine was a darker green. Also, mine was never that clean !
Hi Alan, I bought it restored so yes it was painted, but in the original colours.
In 1980, I had a Suzuki GSX550 great bike. i fitted a Lazer 4 in 1 exhaust system to it for better sound.
The GT 550 was one of the best bikes in it's class and very reliable
I agree, awesome well balanced machines! Rob
The first motorcycle I ever rode. 16 years old, and slightly illegal, as you were supposed to be 18 and have a drivers license. 🤷🏼♂️ Well, minor details - we had fun in the 70’s. 🤗
That’s brilliant! I’m glad it’s bought back memories for you. Thanks for watching my video. Rob
❤❤❤
I had all 3 of the tripples. Started with a 380, my first bike after a moped, then a 550 then a kettle. And whilst I loved my kettle my favourite on hindsight was the 550, so much more nimble but if you rode it hard the fuel consumption was horrendous.
Thanks for watching my video, I agree, the 550 is a well balanced bike. I’ve also 750’s in my channel. Rob
I had one in 1976 with a 3 in one exhaust. I think this exhaust robbed me of some power!!
They’re great bikes, thanks for watching my video. Rob
Lived in the Canary Islands in my early to mid teens and saw this bike multiple times (not THAT bike but one like it). Loved the sound and lusted for one.
Great classic bikes in wonderful condition ... (cannot resist to say that the widescreen just doesn't fit for that kind of vids)
There's a charm to classic motorcycles that modern ones simply cannot compete with. Beautiful machine.
Thinking Nippy n,' Noisy.
Well done for keeping your bikes in the house. It should be law that the bike gets first place in the kitchen and the front room. If anyone els in the house don’t agree they should decorate the shed and live in there. The garage is for the car.
Minter. Death trap though, in the wrong hands, Mine.
Yes! Thanks for watching my video. Rob
Trop belle !!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yo tengo la roadking es la mas grande escala de new bright
joli Dommage de ne pas avoir mis les pots d'origine.
It was a large comfortable very well-built Out Classed all the other Japanese motorcycles
@@JARRETT7121 agreed, awesome bike.
اخخخ على السزوكي😖
Motorcycle wonder
Loved my fizzy. Had one at 16. 1981
Lovely bike , do you sell bikes , can never catch the name of the classic name you mention at the start 😊
Very nice bike
My 250A didnt have the ram air system on it, nice bike, though.
this bike is why iv loved bikes all my life.
As a youngster back in the 70's i saw one off these accelerate away from a standing start down our village high street in a cloud of blue smoke. At that time it was the fastest thing i had ever seen in my life.
I had one,no better to ride than a Honda 400/4.
Thank you so much for sharing! Kettles are cool! I recently bought a '75 GT750M that was ground-up restored like this one. Due to the impending winter season here in Illinois, I haven't had a lot of seat time on it yet. It was upgraded with the Newtronic ignition prior to me buying the bike. It's a tank to move around in the garage compared to my GT550L. I plan to install some handlebar risers this spring (like on my GT550) which makes riding a lot more comfortable. Don't ever get old, it's overrated ha!
Beaty 💙
Owned them all over recent years. The 550 is a better bike than the bigger 750
Mint condition 👌
I had the Suzuki AP50 back in the day, it was a hard choice as all my mates had a fizzy, and thankfully I resisted peer pressure and bought the Suzi. Best decision ever.
Mine was identical. Superb motorcycle! I still remember that sound.
My brother owned a brand new one in 1979
Love the 380 but doesn't look right without original style pipes. Looks lob sided sithonly three. For those that don't know it had four pipes up swept. Middle pot had a single header into a duel split pair of pipes. From the rear view it was visually balanced and looked beautiful.....
Or maybe my memory is going
1983…..i’ll never forget mine
That sounds so sweet, like new.all you need now is allspeed expansion pipes, and K&N filters.then its a road rocket.
Beautiful bike; just like mine in 1983: YUC 794T. This brings back loads of memories...thank you. A lovely relaxing ride to cruise along open A roads or dual carriageways. Not at todays' silly speeds but it was happy at 80 - 90 on quiet roads. Had one or two elecrical issues, rectifier, etc, and replacing the silencers which rotted out wasn't cheap either. Too easy to ground out but was still a good friend. Plus, everyone, young or old looked at you as you passed; these were pretty rare even then... Don't let the good times pass you by (to quote from 'Cycle' mag in the '80s.
@@johnwelander thanks buddy for watching my video and I’m glad it bought back happy memories. Rob
I'm 63 and when I heard it start, it woke up something deep in my soul....
Hi, thanks for watching my video and I’m glad that it brought back some memories. Cheers Rob
My first. I prefered the Kwaka 500.more pscho than well balanced.
Thank you for your video say when you were talking there was no way on Earth we could hear you I had a 1975 GT 550 in black and it never sounded like that LOL that's for sure you must be running head is I'm blind so I can't see but it sounds like it is I'm sure that's what it is I'm sorry I had this I was thinking for a stroke expansion Chambers that's what it is was that bike stock like that with the exhaust of the a model and the truth is in all my ride in the years that I had the 550 Suzuki I never saw another one ever I saw some water buffaloes 750 is but I never saw the 5:50 and I had to buy for like 2 years and I wrote all over the place I meant like you know all over the East Coast even to the Laconia probably I think it was about 78 I went up to Laconia for a bike weekend the bike week on that bike and my sister's boyfriend went with me he had a 7:50 tiger trying them for 78 and the other guy that came with us had a goldwing 1000at the time with her and he had to strip down but he did put the bags on it for the trip anyway I wish the knew more about this bike you should post another video with better audio all right thank you sincerely David Raphael AKA Bob the find bedroom guitarist AKA
Dont ruin the thing by revviblng the heck out of it when cold. They dont like it at all
So sad that the lawyers killed off the two stroke motorcycle all in the name of climate change.
