Great info as always. I like low sugar snacks with limited processing. BUT when I get busy, I don't watch the ingredients nearly as much. Thanks for the substitutes and the reminder to always watch ingredients.

Sugar is the enemy, not fat. That powerful drug is extremely hard to fight once you're hooked. I have fought it all my life and still can't wean off of it.
5 years since I quit sugar, as a coffee/chocolate lover I managed to get use to having unsweetened black coffee without creemer and 99% Black chocolate, I don't have sweetners either 😊
Saturated fat clogs arteries and gives you cardiovascular heart disease. Now they're finding brain arteries clogged with cholesterol and plaque in Alzheimer's patients.
Thanks for this. So, if my Greek yogurt ingredients are “skim milk, milk protein and bacterial culture” theoretically it has no added sugars. But the nutritional facts say it has 6 grams of sugar per 175 grams of yogurt. This the naturally occurring sugar, correct?
This type of labelling started a couple of years ago here in Germany; compared with the original product, the "higher-protein" version has a minimal protein increase, but a noticeable increase in carbs. I buy plain yogurt for desserts, and otherwise I stick to unprocessed foods. But with anything bottled or packaged, like dairy, I always read the nutritional info.
Fructose has some bad sides but doesnt raise blood sugar the way glucose does. And the dose makes the poison. Small amounts of fructose won’t cause health impacts.
A different opinion to other interpretations of the science I have seen. How about you give a credible citation to back your opinion. Also i have heard a diffrrent version of this presenters take that fructose in fruit isnt a problem. I cant personallyquote the svience but simply suggest listen to alternative views on many fruits not being a good choic4. Otherwise I think its a good presentation for the beg8nner 8n health. One thing he missed is 'plant based' milks often are full of fats that may not be so healthy in type and sheer qantity.
I do better if my only fruit is frozen wild blueberries, together with walnuts. Most other fruits drive blood sugar up. Plus, no waste and nutrient dense.
Reduce your saturated fat intake because too much blocks up your insulin receptors which leads to insulin resistance. Replace these fats with healthy carbs like beans lentils berries and potatoes
I listen to you from France. I love your channel, so clear and helpful, thank you so much.
Love your presentation style and your informative vid's. Thank you.

My rule is to only eat food that was available 300 years ago. Cave man diet works.
Ok then go live like a cave man since they were so smart. Sell your car and you air conditioned house. Walk everywhere and live in a cave

Weaning never worked for me. Had to totally shun sugar. Truly, an addiction.

That is the natural sugar he is talking about. Anything above 5 g of sugar per 100 g of dairy product, is added sugar.

Why add a sweetener to plain yoghurt? You're missing the point, America!
❤❤❤
Most yogurts sold in the US are really just puddings!

Bullshyt... Another actor dressed up .. 😂
There is no such thing as "healthy fats".
