This guy is like the outdoors version of Bob Ross with his pleasant commentary as he fishes lol
Undoubtedly going to be faster growing fishing channel of 2022, undoubtedly
Yea, but I would like to see more fishing than talking. one or two fish and the video is over
@@joanbutler1906tf are you talking about, that isn’t his videos at all
I live in Mississippi but every year around in June I go to Alabama and I fish at Dauphin Island this year when I went I caught a 14 inch flounder then at a house we rent every year I caught a 16 inch flounder
That’s awesome! I grew up fishing Dauphin Island and never caught a 16” flounder. Great job!
First time I have seen your wife. I saw how good she was working that lure and knew she was quite the FisherGirl! You need more of her fishing with you. Forget the Ladyfish. Go with the FisherLady, it will be better for you in life!
She's my Mom! Haha, she can fish though for sure!
I love how you show that people can fish from shore, beach, boat or anywhere. Always great content.
I love all of your videos! Thank you for sharing them with us. Love when you fish with your mom!
Great video and I have beat the banks myself for year's until I finally got my first boat, but that's how I grew up fishing and I still enjoy getting out and walking the banks and wade fishing. Like you said it is something we love doing and it's not always about the catch as it is very relaxing and peaceful. I'm thankful that the Lord has let me be able to get out and enjoy my hunting and fishing. We are truly blessed to live in a country that we can go and enjoy our waters and our land. Thanks to people like you for your service that allows us to be able to enjoy. Tight lines 🎣🎣
Love your channel and love this video getting back to the basics. Most of us who enjoy fishing grew up walking the ponds and shore lines. Going out on the boat and chasing the big fish is always fun, but can't complain about a day fishing from the banks either.
Like that you fishing with your mom. Two thumbs up good deal. God bless
ITs relaxing going fishing with you man just from my desk while I work.
Bank fishing with my Dad on a small lake in Massachusetts when I was about 6 got me started. I caught a bullhead catfish, had it for dinner and I still love fishing almost 60 years later
You notice so much around you and you make sure we see it too. Every moment is a teaching and learning moment in your fishing shows.
It's awesome to be surrounded by cool stuff for sure! Glad you enjoyed it
That was great. Just humble fishing. I know a lot of people can’t afford a boat. I fished this way for the majority of my life. But I bought a boat this year. But I really do appreciate the humble beginnings of just enjoying fishing. Because I know you have a beautiful boat.
God bless brother
God bless brother.
Just wanna say thank you for making wonderful and helping fishing content this video was awesome😁
Thanks for your awesome fishing video!!! Always great!!!
Good morning to you. Amazing fisherman because it's not the size that matters it's catching a fish regardless of the size .... That's enjoying fishing. Good 👍 work buddy .... Loved the video as always ....thanks for the video
We've had an Osprey nest near our house for the past 5 years or so. It's so neat to see them fish in the bayou and to see the juveniles learning to fly. They are really cool birds of prey.
I love seeing and hearing them. They love our tree (along with the Eagles) on our Bay House. Pretty big birds in person !
That was a cool video brother! Exactly how I have been fishing for a while, relaxing moments casting and catching what's available. Good job, good video.
i love your positive vibes man. i’ll definitely watch some more videos.
Thank you man! Always gotta enjoy being outdoors and taking in the nature !
That current was really ripping that day. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. God bless you keep up the great work.
Yeah it was! Thanks for watching !
U know it’s a awsome day when Bama uploads 2 in a week
Love your content man you’re the reason I started YouTubing! Thanks for all you do! Love Bama saltwater
Positive energy, teaching indepedence. Dad of year! Memory they won't forget even if we had no video. Enjoyed it.
Thanks for the kind comment ! Tight Lines.
good stuff on this vid, good time with your mom..thats just fun fishin..staysafe..
My grandma used to say - when we went fishing at the pier - that fish is as big as a butter bean... I eat butter bean, so I'll keep it !
Crazy how fast your channel is growing! Congratulations!
Thanks!
What size reel?
Up here - in Scandinavia, we often have zero-days where we aint catching anything - but its okay too......I love the fresh air and the other wildlife, just as well.
Good show thanks
Watch your videos each week. Great job
That's cool to see the tide rushing out of there like that, I've been stuck in the boat launch at boggy point years and years ago when it was really sandy !!!
It can get tough there with that tidal movement for sure
@@BamaSaltwater I guess that's what I get for pulling a 23 foot boat with a Nissan hardbody
id love to see a video on all your rod and reel arsenals. Your rod setups are sick!
Maybe I'l do a rod/reel arsenal at 100K
I've fished that exact spot at Lake Shelby several times, but I've never used shrimp. Gonna have to give it a try.
I used to do a lot of free-reeling with live bait in North Easter NC fresh water rivers.. could catch gars and blackfish and .. whatnot.. But being from europe as was well, I'd catch my ninnows on a hook and line.. a super fine float, a coupld of tiny tiny split shot and #20 hook (yes, that's about fine to put of tiny ball of dough or a grain of cooked rice) - and catch minnows that were about 2 or 3 grams ! Yes - when having fun fishing, size doesn't really count !
Greets from Germany, really like your content 💪🏼
Hey Bama love you videos!! Keep up the good work!!!
Fun fishing!!! Just chunk and wind!!! Love it
Me too! I love it
Nice days of fishing.
Awesome brother 🤙🏼🤙🏼 tight lines
Σε ευχαριστουμε πολυ για το βιντεο σου,εχεις την καλημερα μας,,
I love bank fishing. I thought this was a super video.
I fished your second spot by the weir about 3 weeks ago, didn't catch a thing. Guy told me that when it rains a lot the lake gets very fresh and that's all you catch (bass, etc.) - but when it gets drier it's more salty, and you catch reds/specks/etc. The only thing I caught was a tiny redfish under that bridge/road, from the other side. I was fishing gulp minnows on a small jig head. All I could think of the whole time I was fishing there was... gators... :-) (that and I used to feed a yellow/green one across the way at Daylight Donuts, years ago... he liked glazed! Haha. Good times. I need to try those boat ramps, and out on the new Ft. Morgan pier and wade past it like y'all do...
nice video great idea love seeing the variety
Thanks!
Good vid. Keep em coming.
Way too cool. Fun fishing is the best.
keep living the life. God Bless and stay safe 🙏
Amazing video as always keep up the vid creating
Hey I appreciate you making all of the videos because I saw the last video and I tried a white fuzzy lure and cot my first spotted trout at the coast
Awesome !!
I love ur channel so much the weather is so crazy right now it it thunder and lightning in gulf shores right now
Thanks and it's coming down for sure
Great video bro you never disappoint
Lol I caught a smaller spanish on a spoon the weekend before last five inches tops good thing is they grow to legal size within a year hungry critters.
You have to come up north into Canada and try ice fishing sometime bud. Would be honoured to take you out.
Another great video
Good stuff. Long leaders for life
Modify a tiny Carolina rig and get more distance
Awesome! Thank the good lord above!
Went on my first DIY in shore trip last weekend. Caught 40-50 trout and my first ever jack crevalle. Thanks for the info!
Them jacks fight so hard we were trolling out in the gulf and we hooked one on a big Shimano tiagra and it still took some drag when we got it in the boat we weight it and it was 30Ibs
@@johnnynewman9500 throwing 10lb braid for trout and had a school hit a artificial swim bait. Pulled 200 yards of drag and Did circles around the boat for 20 minutes. Prolly weighed 12lb
@@masonbrook4096 do you fish at dauphin island
Always good stuff. Think the difference in saltwater vs freshwater fishing definition of light tackle is funny, salt - 15# braid 20# flouro leader, fresh - 2-4# mono lol
Dude. The Mann’s Baby 1 Minus is the best!! I’ve caught more fish on that lure than anything. They make them in 1/4, 3/8 and 5/8 ounce. They are fish magnets!! Love the vids brother!!
Yes they are !! Thank you
Really enjoy your videos- going to Orange Beach next week - where can I get a list of some of these public bank fishing locations? Thanks for any info you can share.
I live down here too and I’m always out on the boat at Robinson and at the beach at the pass and I didn’t know you could fish over where you are. I’ll have to come down and give it a shot. Any specific places down by there that are good to fish at?
Great vid
I'd like to have about 10lbs of ladyfish to use for catfish bait up here in Tennessee. I bet it would work great!
Hello there name Jasson I'm from Battle Ground WA I use to do lots of Ocean fishing when I lived in S.C but my Question is have you ever caught a Golden Flounder I heard they are rare?
Love watching your shows thanks for showing them along with the cooking too .
That pirate ship is so cool bro
Falling in, SOP for me
Love you’re videos
Thank you
Crank baits be da bomb 💣
I agree!
I've been keeping a eye on the radar down there and the rain, wind and storms seem to be everyday. It will get better soon.
It's been a lot of rain for sure
September 1 opening dove season in Tn. We got 35 acres of sunflowers to hunt. Dove poppers 👍
Hello from the Volunteer State neighbor. From Knoxville Tn..👍🇺🇸❤

@@lexrichardson7820 Oh ok. Your over there next to Upchurch. 10-4. Take care Lex. God Bless brother.
I approve of pirates!
Hey man it's really cool video I know I'm not Patriot or anything so I can't actually give any money to pick up the lures but do you think good you could do a video maybe try out the arbogast jitterbug or the rebel pop are or see See how they do in salt water in areas like you're fishing today
Are there checkered puffers as far north as Mobile?
Looks like a "new TH-cam video trend" good video as always.
Hehe ;)
When will we see some pier fishing?
Here in alabama now. Ladyfish everywhere. Having a hard time finding reds and specks
They're thick right now.
I am from Australia. You guys catch what are considered offshore species over there in water that is so discoloured. That does not happen here. Allround fishermens heaven. I am over envious. It hurts bad.
It's pretty neat here for sure ! Thanks for watching
Everyday has been a cloudy day since I've moved here a few weeks ago. Just wondering if it ever stops raining here.
Do you do lots of freshwater fishing?
I need those pliers
Where are you catching those large mouth bass?
If you don't mind, can you name some of these areas you're fishing? I just moved down and looking for some nice spots. Noli Me Tangere.
What pliers
are those???
I was attached to 1st CAV back in 03’ and 04’ and lived in camp gunslinger. Iraq 03-05
Nice! Thanks for your sacrifices and service!
I noticed your hat and Tatts. Is why I mentioned it.

Yo bro, when you gonna start doing charters????
The problem I remember with ladyfish is that as soon as you touch them - they're dead.. their scales just peel off on your fingers.. so basically - you catch them, and you use them as cut bait, otherwise they are wasted for not purpose
How can I book a trip with you? I’m in Robertsdale and I’m down for a trip for whatever whenever!
I wish our water was 60 degrees in the winter!
What size Slammer are you using here? I fish in similar situations and I'm trying to decide whether to get that rod in medium fast or medium-heavy fast.
2500 Slammer DX IV ! I love the Medium Fast for throwing lures, it can whip them and is super sensitive
You are doing pretty well on your videos, especially thanking God for allowing you to enjoy His creation. You might want to find a way to store your fishing knife UNDER the picnic table so it doesn't erode so quickly. Good fishing to you sir.
Thanks!
Hey there, I'v'e got a rookie question. Why wouldn't you touch the fish? Why won't they survive if you do?
Nice video.
Thanks !
In South Africa we catch ladyfish up to 3ft long. They fight like hell on light tackle
That's a Tarpon at that point HAHA That's cool
You gotta get sponsored by Yo-Zuri!!!
Haha, that'd be nice
great video, when you had mackeral, why did you say you didnt want to touch it so it would survive? first time hearing that, just curious.
It helps their survival rate. Touching the fish can lead to their slime coating being removed. Also, some fish are more sensitive to handling than others, especially mackerel.
@@BamaSaltwater thanks! never knew
What pliers are you using? Thanks
VS 7" Pliers
Go Mom.
What yo zuri model bait is that?
Thanks
It's the Yo Zuri L Minnow , here is a link to it: amzn.to/3CaBXYV
What is the best way to catch pompano I always go to dauphin island and last weekend when I went there was pompano jumping out of the water and I couldn't catch em
Double dropper rig with shrimp, Fish bites or fish gum. Caught 4 at Mexico Beach last week while on vacation. 2 were keepers.
@@kennethbrank2502 okay thank you
That little tiny Spanish didn't even have his spots yet !!
I know! It was cool!!
Those are some hungry fish to be taking on a bait that big… lol
Yes! Super aggressive !
This lure is very effective for freshwater fish.
Yes it is!

*sigh I miss fishing.. why Commifornia has to be so insanely expensive... just the base license is $54 plus paying to use the boat ramp parking at any of the local lakes, even in a car.. (which you have to have a card for.. which I don't) even a 1 day is $17.54.
A weir is a water control dam, typically built along one bank of large rivers or reservoirs to allow large amounts of water out into a watershed area before a large storm so that the river/lake doesn't overflow from runoff. They can also be in the middle of a river to prohibit passage by vessels or to control how far up fish can swim.
