Backseats not being able to fold flat is a big no no for me. I sometimes camp in my vehicle
Great pace in this video. You guys kept it moving and packed it with info. Thanks for the preview of the new 4Runner.
Thanks, we appreciate that. And thanks for watching!
So sick we're so excited for these to hit our lot!
I’m not buying some massive batttery. That thing won’t last 200,000 miles with a massive battery that costs 20K to replace. They can keep that. I need to see the non hybrid model. Are they going to withhold all the cool stuff just for the hybrid? I want the big brakes, big tires, JBL stereo, XXL infotainment screen. If they treat thier hybrid customers better than everyone else they are in for a rude awakening from Americans.
Looks dope but if the taco trd pro is anything to go off of - there is gonna be significant price overlap with the Land Cruiser. It’s gonna come down to which one people prefer
Very true
Good video. And you got in the back, Bryan. 👏👏👏
These are the last ones on the new platform for North America. Were still waiting for for the new Hilux and Fortuner over here
Oh good point! We wish we got those to begin with.
@@TexasTruckChannel here where I’m at you can import any car as long as you can pay the import fees and duty 😂. The only reason I’m watching the American contents for Toyota is because I wanted a TRD PRO Tacoma. But the cost as well as the limited back seat space due to those iso dynamic seats are a big no no to me lol. Guess I’ll just wait for the new Hilux and get it in a GR package. Can’t beat that turbo diesel gas mileage as well 😂. Even heard they are suppose to come out with the mild hybrid diesel too in 2025. Could go days without filling up without a heavy load at the back 👌
@@rollsroycenetwork1221 Hopefully they don't mess up too much with the new Hilux especially with the pricing. I am glad they are keeping the bulletproof diesel, they might bring the V6 diesel but I like the 2.8 so my next purchase will be the new Prado
@@rollsroycenetwork1221dude you are so lucky to get turbo diesels in your Hilux. There is a company in San Antonio Texas that will swap in a D4D Toyota Diesel engine and transmission into any USDM Toyota. I will do that with my Dad’s 2017 Tacoma SR 4-cylinder 4x2 and also convert it to 4x4 once he stops driving (he’s 81).
@@J.Young808 damn that’s a good way to get around that fr. I was really hoping Lexus would make the new GX in a diesel like the LX500d aka diesel LX600. However they come only in the tundra sourced turbo 6 cylinder. I’ve heard gas mileage in that thing is horrendous. And where I’m at it city driving 70% of the time. Fuel here is also outrageous. And I heard the new GX will come in the Land Cruiser mild hybrid 4 banger however with all that electrification and parts being so limited here I’m not sure I wanna take that risk in case something goes wrong. Might wait it out or just get the 4 cylinder turbo diesel Land Cruiser 250 also know as the Prado here. Getting tired of my lust for trucks. And the Land Cruiser 300 series and Lexus LX are way over my tax bracket 😂. Those things between dealer markups and import duty will have you paying almost 200K USD. I don’t need it that bad 😂
Its going to be super expensive for a less reliable vehicle
The 4Runner has always had more rear seat room as it is geared for people moving and not cargo moving.
The Woodstock of Toyotas 😮 oh please stop it I’m going to blush. We love you too!!!
We spit the facts over here! 😘😘🤘
I'm not to convinced with this 4 banger turbo engine 😮..I'm holding onto my 2019 4runner for a very very long time cheers
Great Video! I just went to put a deposit down on a 2025 TRD Pro 4Runner and was told by my local dealership that they will automatically add a 20% markup. I was in shock. I believe the starting MSRP will be 68-70k. 20% markup on that brings it close to 84k before tax and fee's. I'm not paying 90k OTD for a 4Runner.
Badass Hat!!!
Oh man, those guys are nuts. Try a different dealer. We bought our Tacoma (non TRD Pro though) and paid MSRP. Although the dealer asked for 5k over and we said no. Once the vehicle is on the lot and you are willing to simply walk away, they usually change their tune.
Good review! Love the 4runner
I haven’t seen any reviews/overviews of the TRD Off Road trim of the T4R. I had a 2022 Off Road Premium w/MTM. I hope they put the Ventilated seats in the OR-P as driving in my friend’s SUV with them was nice here in Honolulu.
The Off Road is the trim I’m most looking forward to finding out about, bummed about the reports of no KDSS anymore. Hopefully the GX’s e-KDSS will be available.
Glad I got a 23 TRD off road. Gonna last me my full retirement.
Me too brother! I’ll
Put a new engine into
It in 20 years! No turbos, no batteries, no 4cyl
@@KurtGross-m4stoyota hybrid already existed a decade ago, honestly i dont have idea that hybrid existed way back. the feedback is even good. i believe that this 4 runner hybrid is good. I'll be considering this in the future. soon
This hybrid crap might be ok in a little fart box car but it's trash in a truck.
@@Beef5 your exactly right
This guy knows the product too well and got me to follow his Chanel good review
I hate it when we do that! We appreciate the follow, thanks for watching.
“Market adjustment” markups, close to $83k for it.
What size is the fuel tank on that new 4Runner?
The entire exterior is just plain ugly and the running boards are terrible...at least they kept the roll down back window
More legroom than the GX ! Wow! The digital rear view mirror is not even standard on the Lexus LX. Come on Toyota!
Gonna say 65k like the tacoma pro
Great clip, it’s unfortunate Toyota
Has taken its que from Detroit, they are now producing disposable vehicles that may go 100K, 4cy turbos, garbage! Toyota is now experiencing their very own Bud Light moment in history, glad I just bought a 5th Gen. Naturally Aspirated!
Brian
Quick!!! Buy the current model. The new one is loaded with hard cheap plastic and hybrid turbo 4, repair cost will be high !!
The new 4 runner doesn't look like it changed that much in the way it looks.
Is it me or Toyota throws in "kinda" demo tires with low thread depths on the new trucks ?... Like half thread depths of new tires... Like they will last only a year or two... Sneaky costs savings ?
It certainly looks like shallow tread depth, but i think that's an optical illusion here, for whatever reason
It seems like the Goodyear Territory AT’s on my 2023 Tacoma OR are less aggressive and not as burly as the ones coming on the Bronco by the same name.
Saw a new Tundra trd pro at a dealer today, had at3w or at4w (can't remember exactly), the tread depth seemed ridiculously low
@@Ianhawaii10 Looks like I don't need new glasses after all... Toyota MARKETING got us all !... Please plan a new set of tires within two years ! 😅🤟🔥
Not K03!
2024 and no heated and cooled rear seats or pano sunroof. What are they doing.
It's a 4runner. Not a sequoia.
@@tgkg good job you can read. It also lacks a 3rd row. Making it a 4 runner.
@@Connor-gc3uzthey will have a third row. Good job.
@@Connor-gc3uz 🤦♂️
@@tastyt8766 "but it's a 4runner, not a sequoia"
2025 still made in Japan?
i WANT ONE.
Just makes me want a 5th gen more…sorry. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
No thank you for all reasons listed above 👆
Hate the direction Toyota is going. I dislike everything about the new vehicles. You think that thing sounds good? 🤦♂️ reminds me of my leaf blower
So don't buy one
@@user-rw7xd7qy3j Yeah but most of us are diehard Toyota fans... I will hate to buy a Jeep, Chevy or Ford ... However ...
Prices are too high, and and nobody really wants a 4cylinder turbo. Over priced.
This 4Runner have start/stop engin? Hope not
Not paying 70k for a trash 4 banger
Turbo and hybrid technology are trouble in the near future.
Citation needed....thanks
sounds like pure speculation
Cost more to keep going if you plan on keeping it 20 years like my last two.
Can’t be to fast because its not LOUD!
Big screen, crap 4 cylinder. Hard pass!!!!
Toyota has completely lost touch with its target demographic, 20 year old kids aren’t buying these, it’s the guys with money who own homes, NVDA stock, and can play hard on the weekends!
No V6 and to much good bye toyota said
More unaffordable cars..neat
The more crap technology they put on these SUVs, the more they cost, we don’t want to pay for a 52” screen that will bring out in five years!
Crap.
4 cylinders.
To bad.
Terrible camera work
Would you like a refund?
