A hair stylist too 🙌😉😀
Haha the second one I had and your so right I ended up going way smaller 😉
This wallet is awesome! And the shampoo bags I need. Thank you for sharing. ❤
You’re welcome! 💙💙
Great tips and products!
Thanks!
Of all the essentials you mentioned, the packing cubes are the best. Once you use them, your life is changed forever. 🤣😆
The best! I actually filmed a huge packing cube video today! Allllll of mine! A challenge!
Just wanted to pop in and say a quick thanks for your helpful videos! I’ve now watched several of them as I prepare for my first international solo trip. They have been great in helping me figure out what I’m going to need not only for my trip, but the 24-36 hour travel days I’m about to endure. Look forward to seeing more of your content!
Thank you so much for the kind words! If you have any other questions, please let us know!
Did you provide a list? Did I miss that? Love this video! ❤️
It’s in the description box below the title with links :)
I have in a small snack since baggie: bandaids, regular size, bigger ones and blister ones with small neosporin and small Vaseline. I have bad feet!!
That’s great prep!
I love my AirPod pros on a plane! I’m eventually going to buy the ifly adaptor you can plug into the micro adaptor on the plane
Yes, I have it now and it’s great!!!
Great recommendations! So many of these products are now on my Amazon list. My sister, Laura, recommended your channel (she went to school with you, Lauren) as I’m going to the UK in the fall. And then I recognized Brian from being a sub para (I was there for a few months in 2013/2014). What a small world!
What a small world! I love it! Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
The wallet is nice but I prefer something that is RFID blocking.
Good point!
I usually like to bring both in-ear and over-ear headphones for planes, because sometimes the in-ear kind can start to ache after several hours, but the over-ear ones can be tricky to sleep in.
Brian definitely agrees with you! He likes to rotate them throughout the flight. Thanks for watching!
They make little Bluetooth transmitters you plug into the seat back entertainment systems and they allow you to use your own wireless buds. I cannot comment on how well they work (yet) but I’ll let you know on this 16hr flight to Dubai coming up.
Recently discovered your channel and its a refreshing breath of fresh air in the space of travel TH-cam.
Please let us know how they work! We’d love to try them. Thank you for watching and the kind words.
hi nice clip! my last flight was more than 20 years ago. I am glad about all this tipps and hacks on you tube before i will fly (from germany) to New York again. So many things have changed since than. Normaly a backpack would be more than enought for a week but i will be there for New York Comic Con and thake some cosplays with me.( its like traveling with two others). and its realy creazy how many teck i need. it thakes half my backpack . but you ask vor my essentials i can´t go with a crochehook and yarn
Thank you for watching and yes, a lot has changed. A crochet hook and yarn sounds like a fun way to fill time at the airport and on your flight. I hope you have a good time at Comic Con and enjoy visiting New York! If you need any help, please ask.
I, too, consider my kindle ereader a necessary travel thing. NO WAY do I want to inflict reading reading on the iphone screen on my eyes. Plus the charging issue. Just easier to use the kindle.
For sure! And much better than bringing several books!
For newer flyers---
You can also get an iFly to use your own bluetooth headphones on a flight so you dont have to bring 2 pairs of headphones 😁
It’s the best! I’ve gotten it since this video came out :)
Airfly Pro! It plugs into your inflight system and send a wireless signal to you Bose or AirPods :) cheers
We have seen them but haven’t purchased them yet! How well do they work? Thanks for watching!
I have air fly and have used it on a long flight. It works great but the battery runs down after about four hours so be sure to bring a charged power bank.
Do you guys use/bring a neck pillow ?
I actually don’t anymore. I used to! When we do long flights, a pillow is provided. I personally feel that it can be a hassle to constantly carry it on your backpack throughout everywhere you might be traveling during that trip. (Like a subway or a taxi or walking in a busy city before getting to your hotel.
I plan on making an Amazon video soon about « essentials » that are actually a waste of money.
Have you tried airfly wifi Bluetooth connection?
We are buying it to use on our trip this month and will report back! 💜
Do you use the passport wallet when you go on solo trips? Do you think it is too big if you are just need a single passport?
So the funny thing is… the only time I DIDNT travel with that wallet was the trip where I lost my passport (go figure haha!)
It’s the same size as any normal checkbook wallet, but thinner, so I don’t think it’s too big at all.
I like it because I keep so much in it for travel, however, when I am out and about, I don’t have it on me. I have my little tiny travel wallet instead. I featured it in my “staying safe while traveling” video!
If I'm sitting next to someone stinky, I'll dab some essential oil under my nose so only I can smell it and I don't disturb others.
(It's a morgue trick)
Yes I’ve done that! Or spray my scarf!
The main thing I’d caution with removing your prescription drugs from its original container is they could be seized. Some countries require original pill bottle with label including Dr, patient name and dosage etc. traveller beware. Do your research ahead :) ✈️
Absolutely do your own research because that can be country dependent.
You can just take a pic of the original container. I have never been questioned in any country.
Get packing cubes....LMAO
We are big fans over here :)
