What is the color of the first carry-on ?

I would like a dark red color.

I'd love to see a video packing for a 5 day work trip, where more conservative clothing (which can be bulkier than tanks and crop tops) is required.

You are the reason I purchased the Hybrid. I absolutely love it! I'm thinking about adding the Hybrid Plus. Have you had more trouble with that one getting gate checked?

It’s a good enough bag and the zipper is truly impressive but I hate the black color and the oversized logo. One of the refreshing things about your channel is the lack of the depressing tendency other traveling TH-camrs have of dressing in and accessorizing with a lot of black. I love that you don’t. All in all, I would prefer the red or green version of this bag.

Thank you for this great review! Getting ready for a 3-week European trip and I'm only bringing a backpack and a carry-on. After a lot of research, I bought the Monos Pro, Monos Hybrid, and July Pro to see which one I liked best. My fav is the Monos Hybrid and that's the one I want to keep, but I'm a little uncertain if that'll be big enough. I would just get the Hybrid Plus, but worry that I won't be able to use it as a carry-on piece (flying business class on Singapore Airlines). So now I''m considering getting the July Carry-on Trunk to see if that might be a smidge bigger (?). Any suggestions? Btw, I'm a new subscriber to your channel, but have watched most of your reviews already...love, love, love your videos! You bring such a smile to my face with everything you do during your reviews...thank you! :)

I tend to live out of the bag so closet system seems nice to me BUT it doenst look like my toiletry bag will fit, so maybe packing cubes and a cheaper bag is a better option for me

I was wondering- between this Take Off 2.0 luggage & the July Light Carry On, which do you like better? I own the July Light & love how light it is- I do wish the trolly was less flimsy feeling & was more like the classic July’s trolly). I also worry sometimes about it being too heavy & falling over with a big person bag on top of it (I haven’t traveled with mine yet, but just bc it’s more narrow I feel like it could tip over & is less sturdy than the classic July style). So I’m wondering if this bag feels comparable (besides the take off wheels🤗) to the July Light. Does it fit the same amount? Etc. If you could do a comparison video that would be amazing😍!

SO glad I found this video! We will be flying Air Canada soon and they are apparently very strict about their carry-on size, and their limit is smaller than most other airlines. Glad I saw this before I invest in something too large! Thank you!

I almost pulled the trigger and bought this case, until I saw another video on how to change the combination on the latches. th-cam.com/video/eF8SmgtCfFA/w-d-xo.html The latch mechanism is made almost entirely of plastic! If you are on a vacation somewhere, and one of those plastic latches cracks or breaks, all you have left is duct tape, at least until Monos replaces the latch or the whole case. To be fair, Monos does have a limited lifetime warranty. And, almost all of the "zipperless" cases out there, metal or plastic, have plastic latches as well. I wish they made them out of metal like the old American Tourister's were made. I know, of course, an all metal case might end up making the case too heavy. I think I am going to go with Monos's standard carry on with a zipper.

The Monos is sooo pretty in that soft pink! On another note, I am an over packer because I get anxiety about not having everything I need. I can’t figure out how people pack for 2 weeks in Europe in a carry-on 😬. I would love to see how you pack for long trips in a carry-on.

thanks for all of your awesome videos. I've been a "stealth watcher" for some time and couldnt resist commenting. Im in the market for yet another suitcase *face palm* and travel more often than i dont. Im seriously considering picking up the Monos Hybrid trunk or the away but im truly conflicted. I love the functionality, and aesthetic of monos. I much prefer no zippers for security reasons as well. The away trunk has maximum capacity of 107L whereas the monos trunk is an 89L trunk. It has been such a struggle to find great reviews of both away and monos. However, of those ive been able to find it seems that the monos hybrid exterior lacks in durability which would give another point to the away despite the away bag appearing less durable imo. Which would you recommend?

Actually I'm looking at the July case again! I prefer the clam set up as well which is why i was considering Monos. The extra space for packing that July offers is great...I just want to be sure that i won't have to check it in and that the wheels hold up on cobblestone. Idon't know where I will see if you respond to my comments but I'm hoping you can suggest a personal bag that will meet the International sizing. I'm having a hard time finding one that is the right size as well as having antitheft features. I look forward to your suggestions and answers !!!

Checked with Mono regarding the international measurements and they said they accept 22" is this review that is 1 year old not factoring that there may have been some changes? I'm want a luggage that will meet all international flights..some say 21.6....so i had originally picked out the Mono carry on but now I'm going to look at the July again.....so confused....I'm also looking at the warranty. I really liked your reviews...truly the best after looking at so many. I couldn't find the one on packing video

Would love to see how they compare to the Level 8, Monos, July, etc. I’m planning on getting a new international size carryon, but there are so many and some are very expensive…will need to buy more than 1, actually 4 total for my 2 sons and husband. We are planning a Mediterranean cruise for next year. Any advice is welcome ❤

In all your travels have you found a real difference in what airlines will accept, namely between the carryon and carryon plus sizes for international travel? On my recent trip back from Australia, I had the July carryon trunk. Although I didn’t have a size problem, they did limit me on weight. Loved it! However, I was considering a hybrid plus as an alternative to my Away aluminum bigger carryon for international travel (for weight), but I wondered if the plus was more likely to get gate checked on an international flight due to size, as I like the plus size better. Thoughts?

Is the zip top bag that the luggage tag comes in compliant with tsa liquids limit?

I have a Monos carry on pro and when I put packing cubes on the side where the telescoping handle is the handle won’t go up and down. It’s so frustrating! I love it otherwise. Anyone have any solutions for that?

Hi, I heard when you go through the global entry security line that you don’t need to take out your laptop, take off shoes and belt, or items(snacks) in your backpack or carry on even. That is super convenient and would be worth it to get global entry or tsa precheck. Thanks

Love Monos after hearing all your past reviews. Used my carry on for the first time this spring. It was PACKED coming home and it did affect the handle. It wouldn’t extend all the way. Had to go back in and repack a bit. Then it was fine.

I just don’t understand why companies are making their carryon bags over the prescribed 22” x 14” x 9”? Great review. Love the bag. Don’t love the dimensions or weight. Have you tried the Voyageur in the metal sizing guides at the airport? Very interested to see what that looks like.
