"impossible NOW??" 😆 He must be at the start of his journey, and so confused, while Gustin's Flash has been through alternate-reality shenanigans plenty already.
I think it was more that at that point every other universe in the multiverse had been erased so there shouldn't have been an alternate flash in existence
This episode aired in 2019 the flash didnt come out until 2023 so how did DCU ezra's appear in a past event....its related to the original timeline of the CW flash before there ever was a Reverse flash. That future was erased at the end of the CW flash a new original timeline was created which means grant and ezra had met once already in a future that is past tense to the original. Ewboard was the flash his first time time traveling into the past and upon returning to the future became the reverse flash - ezra is that flash not grant script wise because in the DCU there isnt a reverse flash because he was scraped which is why ezra doppelganger became a speed force villain obsessed with fixing the timeline just as was/is reverse flash ambitions from the start of the CW. This was done at a time when it was uncertain that ezra would continue to be the flash dcu when they scrapped reverse flash, when the actions of the CW flash already dealt with future otl past Barry after the first crisis. It is because of the actions of reverse flash in the cw series that theres other speedsters to begin with because Originally Edward was the flash in the future Barry retired from being the flash. There ought to be a new 52 moment in the dcu if it progresses further with the implications created by the doppelganger.

@eriensgotgame2254 its not a recast. Ezra miller, the guy with the heavier suit plays the flash in the dceu universe. Meanwhile, Grant Gustin, the guy with the lighter suit plays the flash in the cw universe. Bothe the dceu movies and the cw shows have been running in the same time as each other.

Probably took the entire budget for the rest of it's run time. And for good reason, Grant is the worse personality to be the flash as it demonstrates in this clip. He needs to go back to either Glee or some mid day soap opera.

@@Kanoog They both play the forensics nerd well for different reasons. Its a mixed bag; on one hand Ezra has more apparent personality but is less relatable. Grants Flash is wiser and well more experienced but flip flops between social dork to timid and not quick to catch on. The only reason we dont get to fully get to see how well acted the full personality of Grants Flash is is because its a CW show and the music, effects and lets be honest sub par writing most of the time takes away from the impact of the personality he displays. If there is ever a new Flash the answer is probably somewhere in between where you get Ezra's quirks of personality but some timidness and experience of Grant's (having that kind of power and knowing what its done to people would do that to you too) with some light hearted moments that feel more organic instead of sitcom-like.

I genuinely wanna now how Ezra’s Flash was there. At that moment in the Crisis, every Earth except Earth-1 was destroyed. It was impossible for any variants other than them to be alive. That’s why he says “this should be impossible now”. How does this work???
I mean, DC is confusing. The way I interpret it is that different Earth's kind of exist in the same big universe, and every DC Universe has its Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth 3 and Earth 199999. So a speedster can travel into the parallel earth's, but also run into different universes. Idk if I'm right though

This was clarified in the flash movie. In the time-bubble-sphere we see different Barry Allen’s, different superman’s etc within the multiverse there are an infinite amount of variants. You are going to see the same thing in Deadpool three.

i didnt appreciate this before, but they both said as little info as possible, to create as little negative ripples as possible, both multiverse walkers are definitely masters of their own craft, theyve both lived the consequences of being careless, at this point theyre now both being very careful. some mistakes are permanent.

For as bad as it got at the end, I really DO miss this show. At the end I was just so exhausted that I never even saw the finale season. For me, by that point all the villains blurred together. Anything after the Thinker season, everything after that just felt like the thinker was last season, no matter how further I got. And then everything would be conveniently explained away when the reverse flash showed up lmao
I laugh as I think back fondly because I remember how exciting it was when it came out. It really was fresh and new at the time. And it was nice to see them dig into the flash's rare villains catalogue. But there is only so much you can do.

While I'm upset that Grant didn't come out in the movie, I was happy to see him in Titans at least. I was upset that everything DC was ending (it was the right thing to do) and the Flash always reminded me of my nephew. He LOVES The Flash and has watched everything to do with Grant because of it.
Grant should have been the flash in the film. I like his version and he seems kind, fun outside of his role.

Flash Twice a Flashpoint. The only thing that is missing is Jay The Golden Age Flash who would have been perfectly perpetually four Speedsters in a legendary DCU movie moment or moments. Of course there are many Speedforce uses. I think that with the DCU Multiverses, they should be a greater reference on those other Earth's heroes and everything in between.
