1st scene is hilarious. He doesn't know shes Supergirl so he would rather let her burn than risk a sexual assault allegation. He was about to just nope the hell out of there.
It's just not how Hollywood works, sadly, though Marvel is kinda changing things around by bringing characters from its Netflix shows into the movies, like Daredevil, without changing the actor.
I don't know how the rest of this episode went, but I like the way they didn't have to fight each other, the rapidity with which Barry figured things out, and how easily he just introduced himself and asked for help. This avoided so many comic book cliché's.
I love the hidden detail of "how long was I gone". He time traveled back a little it seems. If you didn't know the crossover happened, you'd just think he went into the speed force for a second or something.
I’m not really sure traveled back is right. It’s possible time fluctuated into basically different time zones between the different earths. What seemed like seconds to team Flash really were seconds while Barry and the others experienced time as usual.
I love how Ezra asks "Barry, what are you doing?" and then it cuts away to a scene where ezra is choking that woman outside the night club and shoplifting and being a general asshole.

By the time they did the crossover, Supergirl wasn't part of the CW. That's why it only happened on Supergirl 1x18 and didn't have a second part on The Flash. So the writers couldn't actually make a reference to the other show until the CW bought the rights to Supergirl. That also explains why the 4 night crossover only happened in season 2 of Supergirl.

It'd be even better if they weren't all superhero shows. Just have him pop into Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a bit and then pop out. Have some late-night comic turn out to be part of the Multiverse.

I think in theory, she could do that. Her speed and Barry's speed is equal in almost every way. According to the show, the Speed Force has been around since the dawn of time. It's essentially faster.

Good that he realized he came to Supergirl's Earth by mistake before heading to the Central City on her Earth.
This is where The Flash runs to where Supergirl just happens to be on[Earth-38?]. The Flash is located on Earth 1 where JLA is on or anamated Earth 16 [The Young Justice heroes are there.]
WELL,IN THIS EPISODE,BARRY MEET KARA AND TRY TO EXPLAYN TO HER FRIENDS HOW IT'S THE MULTIVERSE,AND RUN TO KEEP SOME ICE CREAMS, SO KARA FRIENDS COULD UNDERSTAND IN WHAT WAY HE ARRIVED IN THAT WORLD. BUT THE THING THE MOST FUNNY,IT'S THE KARA'S FACE,WHEN BARRY GIVE HER ICECREAM!TOO STRONG!
I hate when they do these "rescues" in movies and shows. I think it was one of the first scenes of "The Boys" that perfectly illustrated what happens if a normal person gets hit by someone who runs at super speeds. Hitting the pavement would probably have been less G's of deceleration than whatever the heck THAT was ((if that wasn't Supergirl of course). Someone falling from a skyscraper has to be gently slowed down or they'll break their necks and many other bones anyways.
