Holy crap, didn’t think much of the casting at first but after your resto WOW !!!! That is true indeed a 928, Larry killed it 😲 Amazing resto and you bought out the true beauty that it looks like Mattel tried to hide.
The Porsche turned out wonderfully Danny...but that base is amazing! So many wonderful ideas/techniques that I can't wait to try...when I find some patience lol
I am glad to see a new video from you and happy you are well. A lot of guys have been taking breaks so I'm glad you are back. This project came out great, just wish the color in the cobble stones showed through the wash more but love all the details with the plants.
Nicely done Danny, looks fantastic. As for lack of videos its cool as long as you are healthy and safe, job comes first as it keeps roof over your head
An amazing piece of automotive history. I have one in my driveway. This is a 4.5-litre non-interference engine 928. A wheezy low-power thing, with just 245 BHP. Not much of a car, really. But the 4.7-litre S made 310 BHP and is a much better car. Expect any 928 to cost in excess of $4,000 per year in regular maintenance, and budget at least an extra $5K for big items every few years. In over a decade of daily driving, I spent over $70,000 on mine. And it still needs $5K of work!
Great looking 928, classy colour and very nice wheels 😎 Good looking display piece too 👍 These metal on metal castings are so cool, only that weight makes then feel better quality than later metal on plastic ones 🤔
Great looking resto/custome! I really like how you paint the tail lights with the tint over silver. Watching how you built the base was a cool addition.
Was wondering where you were with your videos, or if I was just missing them, glad you are just busy and its nothing too serious. Awesome video as always, loved the colour of the car and the stand is breathtaking.
Great video again, Danny, I love the base!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 i wonder if you‘ve heard something from rob from mb garage, as he didn‘t upload anything since 5 months ..
Stunning Danny, one I would eagerly add to my cabinet. How can I acquire this? Makes me wonder why HW released the 944 as a new model recently instead of retooling the 928 as they already had it.
@Shawn 🏴☠️ Stafford - I hear that. Opening parts were just a nice surprise back in the day. Now it’s marketed as something special and therefore more expensive. Even some of my Lesney models from the late 60s and 70s have opening doors etc. Can I just add that the new HW Miura looks terrible even compared to the Lesney version. The modern MB version is also a bit off.
Very nice. I normally do not like after market wheels, but those look like they came on it from the factory. You should have did one more thing though. You should have put on the same Porsche emblems on the rims. Still real nice looking car.
That tarnished Silver color was perfect for this one. That diorama really put it in the perfect location out on a country lane. The only part I didn't like were those orange leaves. I think it's a combination of then all being the same color and shape maybe the size. Leaves aren't easy at such a small scale sometimes actually using dried leaves crushed up fine or even spices gives a multiple colored look that's good.
Turned out rather nicely Danny, especially considering what a grotty casting it was. That paint was a great choice, perfect for a Porsche. Paintbrush bristles are often used for vegetation but I've never seen anyone use them 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 before - well worth the effort though.👌😁
Hi. You spell it like "PORSH", but it had to sound little bit more like "POSRH-E". :-) And do you tried to brighten up those window parts, with "hydrogen peroxide" and UV light? See some people do this to get remove yellowing stuff from plastic. Greetings
I miss Danny and his videos!
My dad had a 928 back in 87, was an absolute beast. This one came out so good 😎

The car and display base look incredible. I admire the depth of detailing that went into the display base.
I've never seen that casting look so good!

Those flowers are fantastic, what an ingenious idea!
Nicely done Danny, looks fantastic. As for lack of videos its cool as long as you are healthy and safe, job comes first as it keeps roof over your head

The 928....the Tony Montanna Porsche. :) Defo my favourite Porsche; more interesting than the myriad 911's out there. Great job Danny!

Wow, Danny! Love the new intro. Also, the wait was worth it…this is next level…just amazing! Can’t wait for the next one.

Nice job with the cobblestone driveway and the restoration on the Porsche this car reminds me of the car in the classic spy hunter arcade game 👍

Hi Danny, nice job on this one. Question for you, witch type of 3D printer do you use: resin or filament? Any recommendations?
That P928 model I'm trying to find it but no luck for me got it keep searching.
awesome
The black primer looks like a render rather than real. Oo
Awesome.. cool bro

No more videos? I just subscribed
It's too bad the cobblestone colors didn't show through.. it must've taken some time. Either way.. it all looks great 😊
