Thank you Susana! I'm glad you liked the recommendations. I really liked Perks of Being a Wallflower (although I havent read the book, but glad to hear that the adaptation was great!) and seven is definitely up there in one of my favourites!
I know I have definitely seen annihilation and Gran Torino, those are both pretty heavy but very good movies, I'll have to check out the rest, thanks for the good recommendations 🙏 Bless
Thanks for the recommendations! We've been struggling to find movies to grind out the lockdown to, and this really helped! (And somehow we missed Grand Torino the first time around!) Time for some movie homework!!! :)
i really loved the video! you know how to keep the viewers attention by keeping it short and simple. it’s genuinely nice to watch your vids, definitely subscribing. keep it up!
Thank you! really glad you enjoyed the video! it's always good to hear feed backs like this, now i know at least i'm doing something right! I do try to keep the video short and sweet so viewers don't have to spend 10-15 minutes just for some recommendations hahaha
Seven is a classic man, so great for anyone who hasn't seen it! Gran Torino was another great movie! Annihilation I liked but I've watched so many since I've forgotten, but I remember liking it so maybe it's time to rewatch it and hope it doesn't come back to me in the 1st 30 seconds 😂 Uncut Gems is hard core, way out of the ordinary for Adam Sandler, a great watch! The Perks of being a Wallflower was really good, just as you said, coming of age movie but anyone can enjoy it (I'm 49) Based on those you're recommendations seem on point enough that I may try Side Effects... don't let me down and I'll subscribe maybe. It all depends on that one movie, so here goes... P.S. I think your production value in making this was very good, you should try your hand at film! Unless of course you've got other plans 😂✌️🎬
I really enjoyed side effect, I have never heard of it before I came across it and was pleasantly surprised, so i really do hope you enjoy it too! thank you so much for your comment! I am trying to improve my production quality as I go hahah I am a photographer and I really enjoy film mking! Definitely looking out for any opportunities that will allow me to stretch my creativity in that area.

@@justmovierants8762 😂 Yeah I don't know how I'd respond to all that wisdom of the elders stuff either! I normally wouldn't have gone on so long. Perhaps it was refreshing to see someone else besides the guy from "Flick Connection" who is a bit arrogant in my humble opinion. He comes across with something like self importance, to me at least. He's normally the first guy who shows up when I search "Movie Recommendations" so I watch, but his taste differs from mine in many ways. It was refreshing to hear from a young guy who had better taste in movies... and a shame to see you've got less subscribers...hence the rant. 😂 He's making a living at it though! He has some sponsor or another half way through. Maybe you'll find this funny. One sponsor is "Universal Time" where every month they will send you snacks from a different country. So he recommends if they send you snacks from Egypt, you can make a night of it and watch movies like "The Mummy" or "The Ten Commandments" and so on. So we're in the middle of a global pandemic and I'm going to eat snacks from countries all over the world!? Where who knows what the safety regulations are in these countries. In the US we have the FDA, food and drug administration to oversee things but I'm not eating stuff , strange snacks that I don't even know what they're supposed to taste like. If I get a bag of chips from Albania or something, and they're made from something that isn't a potato, I may not know what to expect as far as flavor right!? So if the food is expired or gone bad....I'd never know the difference right?! More importantly though is the GLOBAL PANDEMIC right...🤣🤣 Ok so it was refreshing to watch your channel and your not trying to sell me anything that could kill me 😂 and you had a healthy amount of humility.
