I highly recommend marathoning "bestdressed", every character in it is wholesome. My personal favorite is "Editting ashley". Anne with an E is a literal gem. Almost every episode had me in tears. Since Anne is an orphan, she has to deal with so much internal conflict and trauma. It’s a beautiful journey watching her find herself. I strongly recommend it.
I love that show! Even though I only watched three episodes because I was anxious of getting emotional and I kinda knew what was going to happen because Anne of Green Gables is my all time favorite.
I really recommend Avatar the last Airbender. I'm not sure if Ashley has seen it but it's one of those shows that has had a lasting impact on my life. It's on Netflix and even though its target audience may be children, it has complex themes of war, sacrifice, duty, and love.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is to this day one of my favorite shows. The character development is excellent and the universe they created is wonderful. It deals with big issues like blind patriotism, indoctrination, war and its consequences, morality, growth and grief. And its characters are just super loveable.
I watch it every year and I will always be more in love with this show, everyone can take so much from it and grow from it, it's definitely not just for children
I'm literally in the process of rewatching it now, and I'm still so amazed at how incredibly complex and realistic all of the characters are portrayed. It's just such a beautiful story about how relationships can heal and strengthen you. It shows realistic conflict situations and how trauma patterns are broken through different parental and platonic relationships. It's so empowering to minorities and has genuine representation of what societal practices do to perpetuate injustice and inequality.

BOJACK HORSEMAN IS THE BEST SHOW EVER PERIOD. And that‘s coming from someone who never picks favorites. It is funny, real, tragic, smart, philosophical, and somehow the most human show ever despite the fact that it‘s about a talking horse. I literally recommended that show to every single person I know and they all loved it.
Jade Hsin in my experience people need to watch a couple of episodes to really get into it, the creators of the show themselves have said in the past that they felt like they had to ease people into the concept of the show which is why it only really takes off after a couple of episodes.
ashley: deep down everybody wants to feel like a teenager again- but minus the weird loneliness and depression, and plus the like three nights that were fun in hs, where you actually hung out with your friends. me, a teenager: i would eat a small child for my relatable queen
Reasons to watch the full video: 30%: really cool tv show recommendations. 70%: Ashley telling relatable fucked up emotional situations you also struggle with
I had a “best dressed recommended movies” note on my phone and was getting through it during the quarantine (before sunrise has my soul) and yaaay now I have a tv shows list
hahahahha same!!! and now i told everyone i know to watch these shows as well so we can talk about them hahahah some of them are already on my list. really hard to keep up lol
Reasons Ashley would LOVE Killing Eve - Villanelle's OUTFITS!!! (and Jodie Comer's talent) - Sandra Oh at her best - Super dark humour - Phoebe Waller-Bridge's genius writing - Gorgeous cinematography - Badass women - need I go on....?
- diverse cast - leading female characters - written by female writers - amazing European set locations - SOUNDTRACK!!! I can go on and on and on... :D
when she started talking abt women characters written by men.....I FELT THAT!!!!! only realized this recently as well. very few women characters written by men ever really resonate w me but for obvious reasons those written by women even in tv film books...were characters i loved!!! loved that she brought this up
i love love loveeee how she talks so passionatly about everything. even though these shows aren’t even my taste, i got a strong urge to watch each and everyone of them aften this video
Thank you for recommending Bojack Horseman. I started watching two months ago and just finished the entire series yesterday. What an emotional ride. Brilliant show. So I’d like to say thank you.
YES ASHLEY I hate when men are so afriad to write a bad female character that they write a "perfect" female character I find it's even harder for me to relate than like an overly ditzy female character I'm so glad female written female characters are finally making thier way into the spotlight
No joke my go to show when I’m feeling down is “Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse” if you can’t find it on Netflix there are clips on TH-cam. It’s a little fourth wall breaking but absolutely hilarious and makes laugh always.
You should definitely watch "Please Like Me" - it's gay, Australian, and an EXCELLENT depiction of mental health (also 20s life and relationships between friends, family, and lovers). It's beautiful, real, funny, and heartbreaking. I've seen it at least 5 times through and has become the show I come back to whenever I'm in a depressive slump and need to cry and laugh and feel loved vicariously, all so I can end up crying silently while wailing internally but also smiling.
I don't mean this seriously tho, you remind me of my sister and she has the same feelings about kids and doesn't wants kids but would make a great mom regardless. plus I know it's all in good fun.
I have to take breaks while I'm watching bojack horseman cuz it gets so dark and too real that i forget I am watching an animated show. And phoebe waller-bridge you have no right to break my heart into million pieces and then make me laugh so hard and then make me cry again. ughhh love her. so talented. glad that she is finally getting the recognition she deserves
I feel like you'd like Crazy Ex Girlfriend- it's a (sometimes dark) comedy musical that deals with stereotypes, mental health and turns rom coms on its head
I highly recommend "Anne with an E", it's such a beautiful, special show. The cinematography is wonderful as well as the scenery and costumes, the dialogues are incredibly well done and the actors play amazingly. It's another one of those shows that makes you laugh and cry, think about life and challenges you to question yourself. It is so good. And some other shows I loved are "The Rain", "Atypical", "Over the garden wall" and "Everything sucks".
Also, it talks about topics such as racism, sexual assault, beauty standards, human rights, feminism, child abuse, foster care, lgbtq+ rights, and grief.
All I’m gonna say is AVATAR AVATAR AVATAR. I don’t know if you’ve watched it yet but if you haven’t, it’s on Netflix now. WATCH IT. It goes from a good show to absolutely fantastic
unpopular opinion: I actually really like LOK. It's different from ATLA but it portrays a lot of emotions outside of how ATLA would have run the show. idk I cried on a lot of the scenes in LOK and I don't see why it gets so much hate. As the great Cole Sprouse once said "don't yuck other people's yums" :)
Yes yes and yes! I grew up watching it as a child and I still watch it now sometimes, as an almost twenty year old! It's really good and I really recommend to watch it at least once
big little lies is honestly one of the most well-acted things i have ever seen! i watched it with my family and there were scenes, particularly the ones with celeste and the therapist, where you could literally hear a pin drop, we were so focused on it.
SHERLOCK (the 'mini' series with Benadryl Bandersnatc) it will give you LIFE. It is SOO good. (No I can't explain why, low key waiting for you to do that cause you're such a badass at that! love u ashley
Hey Ashley! You should definitly watch Anne with an E. The premise of the show is super simple and although it took me a couple of episodes to get into it, once I did I saw it all in one week. beautiful cinematography, beautifully written (by one of the writers from breaking bad), a feminist show, with characters from different backgrounds, the main protagonist is a girl with flaws and good qualities that's written by a woman, actually the entire crew of the show is manly made of woman, ... just a lovely and wholesome show :)) love the video btw
whenever i watch Ashley's videos it feels like i'm talking with a close friend of mine. hope you can create a video about your favorite songs, idk i feel like your music taste is on point as well.
There's this kdrama called "Hello, my twenties" (on netflix) with 5 female leads all struggling with different issues. One has an abusive boyfriend, another is an escort, etc., but they start out as just roommates coexisting and you'll see them grow together. Many twists and turns as kdramas are but it's made me laugh and cry so I really hope you'll watch it too. And for any ashley stans who want a variety of female leads jammed into one wholesome show 😉, check it out!
It's so amazing to see other people liking Fleabag, because I love the show and I always found the show so comforting. Unfortunately none of my friends watch the show or want to watch it.
girl don’t downplay the fact that you graduated from film school!! it’s really valuable hearing what you have to say about movies and tv shows, be proud❤️
anne with an e. so so so good. and it covers SO many issues despite (or maybe because of) the fact that it’s set in the late 1800s such as race, found family, sexism, class differences, foster care/orphanage inequities, homophobia, and more.
Ash this is so well researched and thought through - can’t imagine how long it took to research, film, and edit. Still in shock you’re a one woman studio! Love this (esp for quarantine) and you 🥰
Arianne Chong Abed is such a good example of an all-around well-crafted character. I absolutely loved his character progression in the show and the direction it went in, as well as how his condition didn’t make him the butt of jokes which would have been too obvious. I never viewed him as any less funny or likable as any other character, perhaps actually more.
Ashley you should watch 'After Life' - it's a dark british humour that you love about a guy who lost his wife to cancer and him grieving while trying to move on. Its really beautiful and both incredibly funny but sad at the same time. A beautiful mix
ANNE WITH AN E - CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH, TACKLES FEMINISM, RACISM, SEXUAL ASSAULT, INDIGENOUS REPRESENTATION, CLASS, EDUCATION, HUMAN RIGHTS, GRIEF, LGBTQ+, FAMILY, ROMANCE....pretty much everything. And the acting and cinematography are to die for!
I love how we can clearly see how passionate you are about everything that makes these tv shows great. You can absolutely make me watch anything you describe.
Ashley should have a podcast where she would talk about different life experiences because it's so fascinating that she looks at the world so differently but is still truly relatable
I know you filmed this like 3 times, so I just wanted to let u know that we appreciate your hard work! I also know that u didn’t feel the best while filming this, so pls don’t force yourself to produce content if u don’t want to! It’s okay to take a break sometimes! sending all my strength and love to you! anyway I honestly absolutely admire you! your videos are always so well shot and edited! so refreshing and so incredibly special! your videos always make me feel better and they hold a special place in my heart! you actually made me overcome my fear of starting my own youtube channel! so I just wanted to thank you so much for being such an inspiration
5:40 "If a movie has done something really well, why would you make it into a tv show..." THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! I feel like I've been screaming about this a lot recently.
i was thinking that too abt parasite! it just seemed like a white-washed way to milk more money from a four-oscar movie, but bong joon ho is in the project and he said himself that he had to cut some parts from the movie and he wanted to show them through the series, so i'm just glad he gets to do that
If you enjoy shows to laugh AND cry to, i can only recommend Brooklyn 99. It might seem a bit "wierd" in the beginning, but it is a really good comedy. The character development is amazing and it actually has healthy relationships. It's also really diverse , without their sexuality or their race being their only character trait. It adresses some serious issues as well and the show's just really funny. It quickly became one of my favourite things to watch, so if you like that kind of show, you should check out. :) (Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language)
i just finished season 4 of bojack horseman and i’m pretty sure it’s one of the most emotional shows i’ve ever seen, every character feels so real and it honestly makes me scared abt becoming an adult
I personally have an unhealthy obsession with how I met your mother. I don’t feel like it is the most cinematically compelling show but I think it is a very feel- good show, at least in my opinion. They have so many running jokes throughout the show and I feel like it’s very interesting to look at this main character who is portrayed as this hopeless romantic with his group of friends but when you take a deeper look at each of them they all have their issues and questionable choices. I personally found this show to be very funny and so many episodes brought me to hand over mouth tears. The last season wasn’t the best choice of delivery but still recommend to give this show a try. :)
YES! That show has been with me trough thick and thin, and i think that i know every episode by heart now. I watch it when i feel lonely, cause i really just feel like part of the group, also some of the episodes are about such weirdly specific things, that somehow we all understand, and that just makes me feel so nice and warm inside. now i watch it when i feel nostalgic for the times when i first saw the show, cause those were the times when things were finally moving upwards for me... and wow this is going personal, but yea i like the show or whatever.
Shows everyone should watch : - normal people - based of a really amazing book and portrays love between people who always have wrong timing but can’t let go - SKAM - a show about kids struggling with their own lives/issues, each season is a different character so it’s not overdone and it comes in a variety of versions for each country ( I recommend the OG SKAM which is Norwegian)
YES FINALLY! DARK IS SO INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED ITS CRIMINAL, FROM THE STORY TO THE CINEMATOGRAPHY ITS SO BEAUTIFUL AND WELL DONE, NO I WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT THIS SHOW
Can really recommend Brooklyn 99 or The Good Place! They’re so funny, and are really cleverly written plus all the characters are amazing and don’t fall into stereotypes, they’re so fun to watch and I love them! Also THANKYOU for mentioning Jigsaw, it completely changed my perspective on relationships too and I’m so glad I’m not the only one!
Brooklyn nine-nine is by the same people than the office and park and recs, and it's my favorite one out of the three! If you haven't watched it, I think it's on Netflix !
"Killing eve" is soooo goddddd. The clothes are amazing and the characters are written so well. Even though pheobe doesn't write season 2, her dark and cynical tone still feels present. Season 3 is interesting... Also "the end of the fucking world" is so cute and has such interesting characters and cinematography. The show "crazy ex-girlfriend" is so well-written and has really interesting commentary on mental health and feminism that is voiced through cheesy musicals that inevitably makes you think but also is just fun. We love fun.
Idk, I love killing eve but I think the character development and plot is pretty poor sometimes, doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the show though which I guess speaks volumes about it
Talia Geddi theres def a lot of suspension of disbelief involved....i think a huge part of the appeal is just jodie and sandra carrying with their performances and chemistry. they’re stars for sure.
I highly recommend marathoning "bestdressed", every character in it is wholesome. My personal favorite is "Editting ashley". All in all, you can feel the effort and heart the writer put into it, pushing through her mental struggles to make her audience feel a warm sense of companionship which is sorely needed in this cursed corona times.

70%: Ashley telling relatable fucked up emotional situations you also struggle with
this is exactly why i watch her haha
i really just wanna go to a coffee shop and talk to you for like 3 hours
i couldn’t have said it better
So right!
i don't think 3 hours will be enough.
I had a “best dressed recommended movies” note on my phone and was getting through it during the quarantine (before sunrise has my soul) and yaaay now I have a tv shows list
omg same!!
Before sunrise uGH i cried
i also discovered before sunrise through ashley's video and now they're my forever fave 😭😭😭
hahahahha same!!! and now i told everyone i know to watch these shows as well so we can talk about them hahahah some of them are already on my list. really hard to keep up lol
I just finished bojack horseman, almost every night I still play mr. blue in my head
ahhh same 😢
Reasons Ashley would LOVE Killing Eve
- Villanelle's OUTFITS!!! (and Jodie Comer's talent)
- Sandra Oh at her best
- Super dark humour
- Phoebe Waller-Bridge's genius writing
- Gorgeous cinematography
- Badass women
- need I go on....?
Yes!! Season one was everything!! So sad that Phoebe WB was not a writer for the following seasons though, you could really tell the difference
yes yes yessss!!
Killing eve is so good everyone that sees this comment has to watch it
- diverse cast
- leading female characters
- written by female writers
- amazing European set locations
- SOUNDTRACK!!!
I can go on and on and on... :D
I loved KE but I didn't like the 3d season :(
The amount of people recommending Avatar: The Last Airbender is very satisfying :)
First seasons of Community are entertaining and well written !!
when she started talking abt women characters written by men.....I FELT THAT!!!!! only realized this recently as well. very few women characters written by men ever really resonate w me but for obvious reasons those written by women even in tv film books...were characters i loved!!! loved that she brought this up
everytime I feel like a mess, watching Ashley's videos instantly makes me feel better
Same i discovered her recently (just when i needed) and she just gave me so much insight into myself (if that makes sense lol)
As an Italian I laughed so hard for the “Italian hands” as a scale of appreciation
me too
i love love loveeee how she talks so passionatly about everything. even though these shows aren’t even my taste, i got a strong urge to watch each and everyone of them aften this video
“ I would eat a child-“ *ten minutes later* “when I’m a mom...”
*if
And " I would be such a good dad"
Iconic
Thank you for recommending Bojack Horseman. I started watching two months ago and just finished the entire series yesterday. What an emotional ride. Brilliant show. So I’d like to say thank you.
YES ASHLEY I hate when men are so afriad to write a bad female character that they write a "perfect" female character I find it's even harder for me to relate than like an overly ditzy female character I'm so glad female written female characters are finally making thier way into the spotlight
yes literally so true
yes thank god the female characters men write never make sense 😔
Thank god we are all on the same page MIB and the rest of Hollywood movies in 2019 were terrible
Ngl I just fan-girled pretty frickin hard and that's okay
I don't think men are "afraid" to write a bad female character, they're just either unable to or not interested
FINALLY you’ve put to words what I’ve been trying to articulate for YEARS about female characters written by men. I feel so SEEN
omg you liked my comment- I love your channel, I just discovered it like last week, you’re awesome!!!!!
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Ashley: starts rapping her intro
👏❤️
Most of the videos Ashley makes make me feel like I'm listening to a friend talk about something they're passionate about and I really appreciate it
No joke my go to show when I’m feeling down is “Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse” if you can’t find it on Netflix there are clips on TH-cam. It’s a little fourth wall breaking but absolutely hilarious and makes laugh always.
omg same 😭
Literally that show just cheers you up I watch it when I can’t sleep it helps me calm down
YEEEEEES its actually SO META!!!!!
omg yes
Yesssssssss same
Why does it seem like she is everyones best friend?
because she is
ashley aka bestfriend
bestdressed is out, bestfriend is in
I wish she was my friend... ;w;
You should watch Russian doll, veeeery underrated show that is actually very intriguing and original
I love it sm it's so interesting!!!
Luna Fickel i love that show sm! i was under the impression that it was quite popular though
One of my favourite of all time, I adore it
yess omgg !!
Such a good fucking show!! Xxx
Yes! I just finished binging it this weekend and it is EXCELLENT
J Winkies was hoping to see this comment!!!!! his new show, everything is okay, is worth a watch too :)
Best serie! and the intro is kinda relaxing
Ashley: "I would literally eat a small child"
Also Ashley: "I don't really like children"
And also Ashley: "if I become a mom.."
Me: 👁👄👁
I don't mean this seriously tho, you remind me of my sister and she has the same feelings about kids and doesn't wants kids but would make a great mom regardless. plus I know it's all in good fun.
i dont like kids either but people tell me im good with them aha
Also: "god, i would be such a good dad" 4:24
I have to take breaks while I'm watching bojack horseman cuz it gets so dark and too real that i forget I am watching an animated show. And phoebe waller-bridge you have no right to break my heart into million pieces and then make me laugh so hard and then make me cry again. ughhh love her. so talented. glad that she is finally getting the recognition she deserves
bojack is definitelyyy one of those shows that is difficult to binge, especially if you can relate to some of the themes it explores :/
this list is amazing and ily, it's just that it's in dire need of some "avatar: the last airbender" teehee
YESS
she put it in her ig story! I wanted to hear her talk about it tho...
SUPERIOR show
No you're definitely right
I don't know what makes it so amazing, but YES IT IS THE BEST AND ALWAYS WILL BE
I feel like you'd like Crazy Ex Girlfriend- it's a (sometimes dark) comedy musical that deals with stereotypes, mental health and turns rom coms on its head
I know right. I really thought she would have watched it. Rachel Bloom is as good as Phoebe waller bridge.
And some other shows I loved are "The Rain", "Atypical", "Over the garden wall" and "Everything sucks".
i love Anne with an E so much, as well as two of the other shows you mentioned! I guess I really gotta watch the other ones then :P
Everything Sucks! WAS MY FAV omg
Couldn't agree more! I love the show but not many people are watching it :(
i think i spotted a lesbian, or am i just overreacting?
Also, it talks about topics such as racism, sexual assault, beauty standards, human rights, feminism, child abuse, foster care, lgbtq+ rights, and grief.
All I’m gonna say is AVATAR AVATAR AVATAR. I don’t know if you’ve watched it yet but if you haven’t, it’s on Netflix now. WATCH IT. It goes from a good show to absolutely fantastic
Omfg YES. I just finished watching it as an ‘adult’ and it’s actually incredible. It’s #1 on imdb’s top tv shows of all time lol
I was gonna suggest it too! I loved it as a child and recently rewatched it, it's my favourite show ever!
There is no way that film major Ashley hasn’t seen Avatar
unpopular opinion: I actually really like LOK.
It's really good and I really recommend to watch it at least once
big little lies is honestly one of the most well-acted things i have ever seen! i watched it with my family and there were scenes, particularly the ones with celeste and the therapist, where you could literally hear a pin drop, we were so focused on it.
did you watch little fires everywhere?
l l no but i want to!
I watched fleabag because of u and it is the greatest series I've ever watch. Thank you sm ashley and I also miss u sm
you should do a "taking myself on a date in quarantine" like without leaving your house but having fun by yourself
I vote for this 100%!
This video is like when you accidentally talk to that film school kid at a party and now you can't leave
I have been on both sides of that situation.
literally no one:
Ashley: god I would be such a good dad.
But the baby eating tho
can she adopt me
SHERLOCK (the 'mini' series with Benadryl Bandersnatc) it will give you LIFE. It is SOO good. (No I can't explain why, low key waiting for you to do that cause you're such a badass at that! love u ashley
Hey Ashley! You should definitly watch Anne with an E. The premise of the show is super simple and although it took me a couple of episodes to get into it, once I did I saw it all in one week. beautiful cinematography, beautifully written (by one of the writers from breaking bad), a feminist show, with characters from different backgrounds, the main protagonist is a girl with flaws and good qualities that's written by a woman, actually the entire crew of the show is manly made of woman, ... just a lovely and wholesome show :))
love the video btw
I definitely agree! The show is so well written and beautifully filmed ✨ I’ve rewatched it so many times!
Yes! So good!
I totally agree! That show changed me and the way I had an outlook on my life, when I say it changed my life, I definitely mean it.
Anne with an E can never touch Megan fellows acting
but also the book is amazing
whenever i watch Ashley's videos it feels like i'm talking with a close friend of mine. hope you can create a video about your favorite songs, idk i feel like your music taste is on point as well.
And for any ashley stans who want a variety of female leads jammed into one wholesome show 😉, check it out!
i love that show !!
Such a good show! Loved it 💕
I cried so much on the first ep and laughed too. It's such a good show. A rare gem from korea
I love this show so much! the female friendships and characters in this show are so well-developed and so heart-warming
This is show is so wholesome and to a certain extent relatable as 20 year old females
OMG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO WATCHED FARGO-
like i've already loved you but right now it's just so much stronger
anne with an e. so so so good. and it covers SO many issues despite (or maybe because of) the fact that it’s set in the late 1800s such as race, found family, sexism, class differences, foster care/orphanage inequities, homophobia, and more.
Ashley, your editing is so good!Even in a video about just series, your editing really catches the eye. Also, the editing is just... Chefs kiss.
Ash this is so well researched and thought through - can’t imagine how long it took to research, film, and edit. Still in shock you’re a one woman studio! Love this (esp for quarantine) and you 🥰
😆 I was thinking, "Damn, I've been doing a lot of 'research' in my life."
this is my one and only flex: I know the girl who plays little Emma Stone in Maniac
and I beat her in a Shakespeare competition
community is literally a masterpiece of a sitcom. one of the most creative and hilarious shows ever.
I just watched all six seasons and now I'm convinced it is one of the best sitcoms ever created.
so underrated for so long, glad it's finally gaining more popularity!!!
The trampoline episode was hilarious!
Addie YES i’m so glad that it’s on netflix now and will reach a larger audience. no show can ever pull off a character like abed
YESSS!!! It is one of the best shows I have ever seen, definitely worth a watch.
UP
I love how we can clearly see how passionate you are about everything that makes these tv shows great. You can absolutely make me watch anything you describe.
“I would kill a small child for her”
“I would eat a small child for her”
*begins dialing 911*
Also “I would kill children for most of these celebrities...” so weird. There are so many other things she could’ve said
Yeah, that is not a joke I support. Made me wonder why on earth she said that.
I agree. I can’t tell if she was joking abt it bc she did said “LITERALLY”.......
I'm pretty sure she was joking. I don't take things like that to seriously and you shouldn't either. Just laugh and know that she is probably joking.
I’m a big fan of best dressed but joking about killing children is disgusting
THIS THIS THIS!!!
can we pls make ashley read this you read my fricking mind
!!! we love you ashley! we would still love you even if you need to take a break 😘
beril I wish!!
5:40 "If a movie has done something really well, why would you make it into a tv show..." THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! I feel like I've been screaming about this a lot recently.
What We Do in the Shadows did it really well
i was thinking that too abt parasite! it just seemed like a white-washed way to milk more money from a four-oscar movie, but bong joon ho is in the project and he said himself that he had to cut some parts from the movie and he wanted to show them through the series, so i'm just glad he gets to do that
Also the snowpiercer tv series... why
(Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language)
omg i love brooklyn 99 sooo much
I can't stress this enough, but BoJack Horseman is one of the absolute best written shows I've ever watched in my entire life.
i just finished season 4 of bojack horseman and i’m pretty sure it’s one of the most emotional shows i’ve ever seen, every character feels so real and it honestly makes me scared abt becoming an adult
on another note: ashley, girl. UR EYE MAKEUP WE LOVE
honestly you could talk about anything and I would drop everything and be here within seconds!! anyone else?
Se im
Ashley: I had a crush on an Australian
Me: G'day
her saying that made me as an aussie so proud
I personally have an unhealthy obsession with how I met your mother. I don’t feel like it is the most cinematically compelling show but I think it is a very feel- good show, at least in my opinion. They have so many running jokes throughout the show and I feel like it’s very interesting to look at this main character who is portrayed as this hopeless romantic with his group of friends but when you take a deeper look at each of them they all have their issues and questionable choices. I personally found this show to be very funny and so many episodes brought me to hand over mouth tears. The last season wasn’t the best choice of delivery but still recommend to give this show a try. :)
I agree! It's been years since I watched but I still laugh alone remembering jokes and fell some warm in my heart...
I absolutely love that show, but I am a hardcore Barney and Robin shipper, so I like to pretend that the last episode never happened 😅
Yessss! I think how I met your mother is the most romantic sitcom that I have watched
Random bruh Barney’s heart breaking really had me crying
Shows everyone should watch :
- normal people
- based of a really amazing book and
portrays love between people who
always have wrong timing but can’t
let go
- SKAM
- a show about kids struggling with
their own lives/issues, each season is
a different character so it’s not
overdone and it comes in a variety of
versions for each country ( I
recommend the OG SKAM which is
Norwegian)
SKAM is amazing and sooo underated
I agree
Skam is my favorite
Yeeeees Skam omg!!!
SKAM IS THE GOAT
Dark on Netflix is severely underrated and I also like sense 8.
dark is a true masterpiece. i fully agree. it's like a cooler more sci-fi stranger things and they actually try to explain the science behind the plot
nina tanlaven
YESSS. Sense 8 is amazing. I was so devastated when they stopped making it.
YEAAASSSS
=_
Юга00
YES FINALLY! DARK IS SO INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED ITS CRIMINAL, FROM THE STORY TO THE CINEMATOGRAPHY ITS SO BEAUTIFUL AND WELL DONE, NO I WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT THIS SHOW
It’d be sooo cool if you did a lookbook inspired by your favourite movies/ shows/ characters😍
yesssssss please !!!!!
YASSS
yas kwen. best of bestdress world
I loved BoJack Horseman, I’m glad you mentioned it because without you I wouldn’t have known how great it is. Sad that there won’t be anymore seasons.
The Good Place is aa hilarious masterpiece!
The whole comment section: Avatar The Last Airbender
me, okay okay i will watch
my heart is so happy because of it 🥺🤧
Same! I've never seen it but everyone is raving about it so I'm curious now
YAY we have converted one more person come back when you're done hehe
el Same!
Me seeing everyone watching Avatar: Finally I'm not Alone
i saw it was on netflix and i was like, “WHAT THE FUCK” and started watching it immediately
My sister is obsessed 😂
Brooklyn nine-nine is by the same people than the office and park and recs, and it's my favorite one out of the three! If you haven't watched it, I think it's on Netflix !
Petition to make Ashley watch attack on Titan cause it's a classic in the making
Yes, but does she love anime?
@@windywen1476I believe attack on titan is special because even non anime fans appreciate the story telling... it sort of transcends the medium
Idk, I love killing eve but I think the character development and plot is pretty poor sometimes, doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the show though which I guess speaks volumes about it
Crazy Ex girlfriend is so good!! I've watched it through multiple times and the story never gets old.
Talia Geddi theres def a lot of suspension of disbelief involved....i think a huge part of the appeal is just jodie and sandra carrying with their performances and chemistry. they’re stars for sure.
Yup cannot believe season 3 is coming to an end
I was looking for the comment about Killing Eve
i love how everybody in the comments is talking about the shows they love and shows they recommend :)
“Hi, and welcome to another episode of Ashley Tries To Justify the Fact That She Spent Three Years in Film School™️”
HAHAAAAA you are the QUEEN 😂
im not even interested on the shows i just want to listen to ashley talk cuz it gives me a sense of comfort
