    I'm currently making the gown in solid black, embossing the panels then brushing them with glossy accents. Black lace scraps in the skirt and silver foil trim. lol that's as far as I've gotten!

    Hello Mary... LOVELY JOB!!! I loved the Handbag so much that I purchased several packs from SVGcuts. My question is... where do I find the gold accent paper and if possible would you include a supply list. Thanks so much xo

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much!! I got the gold mirror paper by-the-sheet from Michaels (Recollections brand). I believe most craft stores also carry various colors of mirror paper (extremely shiny paper). I hope that helps! There are some more details about the supplies at: svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=29&products_id=436 :) ~Mary

    Beautiful projects! Question: couldn't the side panels on the handbag be one piece?

  • @Bindsay
    @Bindsay 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Really enjoy your work, but if you could please either have a dark background or maybe use darker color paper. I can't really see what your doing with white paper and a white background. :)

    I'm listening with my headphones and the sound is coming out of only one speaker side. Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong? Also, I was hoping you'd be able to tell us where we can purchase this beautiful paper? I really like the more rustic paper that you used for the party bag. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with the rest of us! Just Beautiful work! Sincerely Katz Baugh (John is my husband)

      Oh no, that's strange, I wonder if I've been doing something wrong. I've never listened to my finished videos with headphones. Thanks Katz. The paper on the finished projects in the beginning is Metropolitan Girl by Carta Bella (Steven Duncan). The paper on the Party Bag that I created during the video is Rugged by Authentique - you can see more here: svgcuts.com/blog/2017/03/28/free-happy-birthday-card/ Thanks so much for the kind words! ~Mary

      Hi Vikki! I'm so sorry for the delayed reply to your message. Recently, some SVG files have been appearing at a reduced size in the Cricut Design Space software after uploading/inserting. You could reference each individual file’s recommended size in the PDF Menu document included in your download, and change each accordingly, but an easier way would be the following:
      1. Insert/upload the file for your project in the Extras folder with the word “entire” in it (if available - for this project, it IS available). If not available, insert/upload each individual file and skip Step 2.
      2. Click Ungroup.
      3. Select all.
      4. Click Align then Center.
      5. With the lock icon “locked,” enter the recommended width of the widest project shape, which is usually 11.4”. This information can be found in the PDF Menu in your download.
      6. Proceed as usual, changing any Linetype choices as necessary and/or using the Attach button as necessary. You can move the shapes around on your mat to see them better if you’d like.
      For detailed information on changing Linetype, Attaching and using our SVG files with the Cricut Design Space in general, please check out this information on our site: svgcuts.com/blog/2019/04/16/how-to-make-our-vintage-truck-project-using-the-cricut-design-space-software/
      Please let me know if you need any more help. Thanks for reaching out! ~Mary

    Im assuming that the pattern is premade paper? are you using a cutting machine to cut everything? i would like to make the bag but im sooo lost

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cherrelle! Our designs come in SVG file format, and are compatible with any cutting machine software that allows you to import SVG files, such as Sure Cuts a Lot ("SCAL"), eCAL, Make the Cut, Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, Canvas by Brother, and Cricut Design Space. You can see specific product information on each project/Kit’s page on our site (it’s near the bottom under “Paper Collection / Supplies”). The PDF Menu document that comes with your download also gives information about specific products used (if any). Feel free to email us at info@svgcuts.com if you need any more assistance.
