Cake (5:24)
The squares (rectangles) that come with each layer of the cake are panels. They go around each lid's sides, evenly-spaced. They are optional and can be embossed with texture or cut from patterned paper.
PLEASE NOTE: An extra Pedestal base support piece was added to this project on 2/9/23. It is not shown in this video. It is a long box shape (1.2 x 1.2 x 4") and it stands inside the Pedestal base to add support. It should be added during the assembly at (20:55:12).

This is beautiful file but the instructions were a bit thin. I agree about the panels. I had to cut them twice and use a clothes pin to align them. Maybe marks on the sides to guide us. And where was the instruction on how to put the decor on the cake? I am an experienced crafter but this was still difficult for me. I feel sorry for a less experienced person trying to do this. Again, the file is beautiful.
