6:30 that’s one of the things I liked about XD Gale of Darkness. There Eevee is your starter as well but you can choose who you want it to evolve into. The fact that Lets Go Eevee didn’t do something similar is baffling to me.

It’s now cannon that if Soda is ever charged with making a Pokémon game, that the starters will be Oddish, Spheal, Darumaka.
(Here’s hoping I got those names right.)
Oddish, spheal, and darumaka with regional evolution forms (and in the case of darumaka a new evolution tree) would be a great line up for a fan game, or maybe even A main series game if they built upon legends Arceus' formula.(They most likely won't do that.But the fan game . . . probably.)

I mean Delphox is my favorite gen 6 starter. Greninja went through the whole oversaturation thing being both added in Smash 4 and getting some weird mega evolution but also not mega evolution in the anime becoming Ash Greninja. Chesnaught just looks really weird to me. I might just be a furry in that case though because Incineroar became one of my favorite pokemon and then became my second favorite, right behind Lucario, after seeing it in the anime and it getting added to Smash Ultimate. Its part Psychic typing is really nice and I don't generally get the chance to use them Since I always have the starter, Lucario and Garchomp on my team and I usually don't really but that much thought into the rest of my team and just make sure types don't clash to much. I was always the person who avoided using things like Psychic and Dragon types to avoid making the games too easy. Then I fell in love with Garchomps design and that went right out the window along with all the pokemon I've obliterated with my Garchomp over the years.
TL;DR Delphox is a fine pokemon. My favorites are Lucario, Incineroar and Garchomp in that order.
I'm just disappointed it was standing on two legs, I was really excited to see a cool fox pokemon starter but then they... Kinda ruined it for me personally. Glad you could appreciate it tho :)

I have to agree. Z-moves do feel like they're tacked on. With Mega Evolutions, it felt more plausible for to bring in future instalments. But for Z-moves though? I don't know.... I just can't see it working outside the Alola region.

Ouch, you pretty much dumpstered my three favorite starter final evolutions. I don't understand how anyone could hate on Infernape, Greninja, or Decidueye for their designs when each one represents its theme perfectly.
I love the whole Rowlett line and though I haven't played X/Y, I really like Greninja. Frog ninja is honestly the best final starter evolution out of the whole bunch. The way his tongue scarf compliments his eyes while also giving contrast to the blue and yellow make him look vibrant compared to the other two. Delphox looks cute in theory, but it's not nearly as eye-catching as Greninja. Chesnaught...I don't like at all.

Oshawott is one of my favorites, considering he was the first starter I actually had. Chespin was my second favorite, then Litten. I liked Rowlet, but Incineroar and Torracat were fun to me.

Cyndaquil will always be my favorite. Solid starter with solid evolutions. Just wish he got a mega. Kinda deserves it since he's not all that useful in competitive. Still has my heart though as Heart Gold is my favorite pokemon game. The new games just don't match the same quality

Oh my gosh, yes, I want that quadruped Feraligatr! I love Totodile, it's one of my favorite base starter designs, but I can't stand Feraligatr. I don't like how weird it looks with it being a bipedal, but the quadruped looks beautiful, and it's what I WISH Feraligatr was. *sigh* Maybe he could look like that in a region variant or something one day, hopefully, maybe, not likely, but still hoping.
So the previous two forms being bipedal is fine, but its final evo being the same is just unacceptable?

Seeing Servine in S Rank makes me very happy. I had a Snivy many years ago. His name was Bob. He was my favorite Pokémon in the one Pokémon game I had. Pokémon White. Eventually, he evolved into a Servine and looked dapper as fuck. I was excited to see his final evolution. But then, tragedy struck, when, in a freak accident, my Game cartridge was dented. It would no longer fit in my DS, and I could no longer play the game. I would never be able to see Bob again. But seeing Servine in S Tier gives me some closure. Thank you.
