I really like that wash on the stonework. Too many people go straight gray for stones and bricks and it just doesn't look realistic in addition to making everything look the same. The more "natural" tone it gave the stones is a great change.
i love how fearless you are when reiterating on your work. its hard not to be precious with something that's complete, but its very satisfying to see you smash things up and make it into something bigger and better!
as always your work is both cool and inspirational...and i alway enjoy watching you reuse old stuff that didnt work..the idea of "upgrading" the board is so smart! i really hope your players appreciate the time you put into your boards.

It's pretty interesting, I haven't gotten it to work yet, but I'm new to casting and I can just re-melt it and try again. Which I think was a neat idea.
@@summonlessermaker i usually have to make a layer out of miliput or something hard for the 2-part RTV to /press/ against when I clamp it or it gets all deformed. That stuff looks a lot more firm... will experiment myself.
