No había futuro arriba o abajo. Ninguna mujer Bellami mordida volvería a tener hijos. "Hemos estado esperando. Tu caminador será puesto a trabajar".

So often am I paralyzed by research and things... something like this would have taken me 2 years of thought, and like, a bunch of half-started blender tutorials, 3D printing videos, watercolor research... whatever. And then it would have never gotten done. It is just. A relief seeing your process. And actually inspiring
Thanks! I think the monthly videos really push me to not get too stuck on any one process. If I find myself hitting a wall in one aspect, I'll switch gears and start working on something else (like writing the short story). That helps me keep momentum.
Really great build! Also adore the worldbuilding and storytelling that you've been doing in your videos, it's really captivating. Can't wait to see what happens next in Aegis!
Dang, this whole video took me by surprise. The drawing made from the parts you had laid out and then the build itself to the lore and story. Well done!
When you delete the hat in Blender, since it looked like it was its own complete mesh, select one of the vertices try pressing CTRL L, that will highlight all connected verts and make it much easier to delete. Really well done build overall! Love how quickly you picked up and utilised blender!
its crazy how you make speculative zoology become real! I see alot of inspiration, or just similarities, with "The Electric State," "Tales From the Loop," and "Things From the Flood" all from Simon Stalenhag, an illustrator who makes machines alot like you do!
This is the first video I saw on your channel, the recommendation blessed both of us, your building skills, and worldbuilding are just *amazing* to say the least. You've earned yourself a new sub! Even if it feels small, for me or you, it doesn't take away from the fact that your videos and builds are just amazing
This content shouldn't be free, and this world you're building should be given a giant budget, some actors, or a game engine, whatever it is you would want to do with it :p . Insanely good work, and great story telling!
Netflix should hire you to become a writer and director for a syfy series. This felt like a Love Death Robots episode! I was so invested in your character and story! It’s not easy to create an original world building concept and you’re quite gifted in this regard.
I think what makes your style so appealing is your skills for narrating not only the building process but also the story. Aside from your skills at creating the dioramas, obviously. Also, Woodlander Hobbies said in one of his videos that you inspired him to make dioramas that tell a story so, Congratulations on being one of the progenitors of a new art genre! (Along with Boylei Hobby Time).
My jaw just dropped when you described making your own sculptamold because I had spent a long time looking for similar products in my area to it without thinking just... how easy it is to make it myself. Gosh.... I need to really get deeper into the DIY materials for my builds. Would save a ton of money. I think it's too easy for a lot of us to instinctively just go buy products/similar products without thinking of how to do it ourselves these days. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks! I think the monthly videos really push me to not get too stuck on any one process. If I find myself hitting a wall in one aspect, I'll switch gears and start working on something else (like writing the short story). That helps me keep momentum.
Came for the build, stayed for the vibe and that GRIPPING story. Subbed!
"Just learned some Blender..." godamn lol
Come for the kit bashing, stay for the story.
Solid work!
Really great build! Also adore the worldbuilding and storytelling that you've been doing in your videos, it's really captivating. Can't wait to see what happens next in Aegis!
Thanks man!
Well from the sound of it not much :-D
at first i thought it was a MaK model! Interesting! I'm on board on this journey across this planet
Dang, this whole video took me by surprise. The drawing made from the parts you had laid out and then the build itself to the lore and story. Well done!
I don't know if I'm more impressed by the story or the build, fantastic!
When you delete the hat in Blender, since it looked like it was its own complete mesh, select one of the vertices try pressing CTRL L, that will highlight all connected verts and make it much easier to delete.
Really well done build overall! Love how quickly you picked up and utilised blender!
Thanks for the tip! Others commented the same thing and I gave it a try and could've saved a lot of time with that one!
Excellent, emotionally, technically and spiritually. Thank you for sharing.
its crazy how you make speculative zoology become real! I see alot of inspiration, or just similarities, with "The Electric State," "Tales From the Loop," and "Things From the Flood" all from Simon Stalenhag, an illustrator who makes machines alot like you do!
I wish I had his painting skill!
The machine "walker" is my favorite part , it looks amazing!
I was just thinking that.
The more I think about it, the mech looks more like a beetle, but with 2 legs.. Very good job!!
cool story. great build. remember, when one embarks on a war of vengeance, you must dig two graves.
Beautiful summary!
omfg. the intro, the presentation. 1 sub. i haven't even started to watch the build. just the into. lol my kinda vibe.
Loved the story for this build. Best one yet. That ending… chef’s kiss
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome.
I have no idea why this showed up in my feed, but I'm glad it did.
Listening, like “okay, neat story,” then I’m like “oh no…. the fleas…”
Very compelling.
You are a unique individual, ballsy in technique. I use wood, stone and metal and love every F****** second of it! Create on. Love it
My jaw just dropped when you described making your own sculptamold because I had spent a long time looking for similar products in my area to it without thinking just... how easy it is to make it myself. Gosh.... I need to really get deeper into the DIY materials for my builds. Would save a ton of money. I think it's too easy for a lot of us to instinctively just go buy products/similar products without thinking of how to do it ourselves these days. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very Ray Bradbury ending there. I like it.
I've watched alot of other kitbashers, all very talented, including you. But I'll keep returning to your channel to hear more about Aegis.
My favorite build from this series thus far, but I’m only half way through the playlist. 😊
What an amazing build and a heartbreaking story.
