L'explication de la chute mortelle de Wouter Weylandt par Davide Cassani (Rai)

L'ancien champion cycliste Davide Cassani (consultant sur RaiTV) explique en images l'accident mortel du Belge Wouter Weylandt lors de la 3e étape du Tour d'Italie 2011 (9 mai).

On se remémore encore les images de la 4ème étape du Tour d’Italie 2011 neutralisée par l’organisation. L’équipe cycliste de Wouter Weylandt et son meilleur ami Tyler Farrar avaient franchi ensemble la ligne d’arrivée de cette étape. Les cloches des églises avaient sonné tout le long du parcours de l’étape.
Une immense tristesse... Ses équipiers et son ami n’étaient pas repartis le lendemain...

I saw this live during the Giro d’ Italia. The motorcycle videographer caught this accident a few seconds after the crash and Wouter was definitely in a critical condition. His body and his leg that contacted the concrete barrier was mangled. If he would’ve survived his lower left leg would probably need to be amputated. It was shattered and he was bleeding profusely from the head.

I wonder... I'm half-Italian, I can understand anything Cassani says, but... what about you French? Just wondering, of course, because what matters here is what actually happened to poor Wout, and the reason is quite visible through the footage... :-(

+Gianmaria Framarin On a light note: have you noticed Cassani's 'r's? I'd say French 'r's, we call those 'r's like that in Italy, since few people can display them. It's something you can inherit from your hometown (in some specific areas of Italy the French or the Germans had ruled for centuries) or it's your family members who might have inherited that sound and spread it onto different areas from those.
Cassani's from Romagna, an area historically Pope-controlled, not many people there speak with those 'r's, but just a few miles north in the same region, in Emilia, the French had ruled quite a lot, especially in Parma and Piacenza. Hence, Cassani must have inherited that 'r' sound from some distant ancestor coming from Emilia.
