I Never Thought This Would Be Possible. Building My Dream Shop. It's Massive!

- After spending years building cars on the driveway, our basement , and smaller shops we have finally decided to build the shop I have always dreamed of having. When I build my last garage I thought it would be plenty big enough but the our TH-cam channel took off and we went from 1 project car to having 30! With this new building we are hoping to be able to save more cars and have more room for storage to stay more organized. We spill the beans on the size of the shop and what it cost, and stay tuned for future videos. Thank you to everyone who watches our channel none of this would be possible without you guys.

One of my favorite things is seeing a family that works hard see the fruits of their labor realized. This is something you should be very proud of Josh. I know y’all get lots of comments about how you all work so well together as a family, I just wanna say that even though squeezey is less interested in the car stuff, we still love when she comes around and hangs out even if it’s just for a little bit! I love how you include her art in the vids, keep it up squeeze! ❤
Thank you. We don’t force the car stuff on them we try to include them but if they aren’t interested we just let it go. She definitely has a creative personality and I think you will see more of that coming in future videos.

Awesome building! The only problem is... they're never big enough. I had a building built the same size as yours... and now i wish I'd gone 40 ft more wide. Never big enough.

@Josh, hey bud im so happy for ur family. Dont forget a 2 piece bath under the stairs is usually a space saver and good fit. Also u gave urself the entire backside to make a lower roof and another 3/4 lower rood minus the 2 larger bays. U can leave them open for porches or later down lifes road close them in with tin and use that whole side for shelving and parts which is what my brother in law and I plan to have built here at their house. Then the 3/4 ones minus the 2 rv bays hes using as a porch or outside cleaning area and he has his garbage bins going on the backside where u have 1 door. He can also store his atvs and lawnmower in the summer time and in the winter the plow. We have a smaller one now but like yourself, hes graduated to a big one. You guys deserve this, youre so humble and gracious. Never change, always be exactly how u r. Congrats. Maybe I'll send a picture when he does his build.

As fans of the show, we’re even more excited for y’all to be able to build this shop. There’s nothing wrong with investing into your future and it will pay dividends for sure. What I like most about y’all’s channel is that you’re revisiting old projects where a lot of other channels just let them go after the first video.
I wish I had said this in my first reply. Your point about revisiting old projects is spot on. I love three things most about this channel above almost all other channels. First, it is family oriented and not glossy, dubbed over and filled with cinematic drivel and drama. Second, the atmosphere is like I'm sitting in a shop down the street watching friends work on whatever crazy project they've dreamed up for the day. Lastly, fame hasn't corrupted the original feel of the show, it's still a bit off the cuff and doesn't feel scripted or fake in any way. Some other channels that I loved have gone the way of hollywood (for the lack of a better way to express it) and the shows have become overly flashy and have lost their roots. I don't fear that the Sleeperdude crew will ever end up that way, more likely we'll still be watching Ralphie and WaWa (with their kids) continuing the same old tradition when Josh and Tosh decide to turn over the reins one day.
What a blessing man! I've enjoyed reading the comments of people leaving comments of how it should be built. Looks awesome and will be a huge blessing for you all.

Josh, love the new shop. Looking forward to seeing it when you’ve moved in. One suggestion based on hind sight. Somewhere on your back wall put in a door. Not just in case of an emergency but easier access to your air compressor and for Tash’s picnic table.

Those guys got a lot done. When you have a team and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do it’s like a well oiled machine and things go smoothly. It’s gonna be nice. You could also use the old shop as a top secret storage area for upcoming projects.

Just to let you know, America is blessed to enjoy watching a family like yours. Everyone loves working with you on vehicles, whether they're old, new, or otherwise. Everyone has fun doing it, and keeps learning new stuff from you. And we all get to enjoy watching you, every single time.
Josh and the dinguses, I am so happy for all of you! This will be such a great investment in the channel. I think you'll be able to get projects done twice as fast having all the storage in the shop and not having to shuffle cars around. This is so awesome! I can't think of a more deserving family. I can't wait to see you guys go from a small garage to a big shop. You will have so much storage. It does fill up quickly though. Congratulations to you! This past Friday we had over 100 single axle dump truck loads of dirt removed from the front of our property and placed around our new house so we can get moved in. It's amazing how much can be done in 12 hours.

Congrats to the Sleeperdude team! I love watching your videos and it fills me with joy that the whole family participates in the projects. This channel has given me the confidence to do some DIY stuff to my own vehicle, earlier this month I self installed a spoiler and was finally able to do an oil change 100% on my own, the first time I tried to change my oil alone I did not have the strength to remove the drain plug, so I had to get my dad for assistance and he ended up doing it himself. This time I was able to get the drain plug off rather quickly with a better socket and I was so happy until I spent over an hour (probably closer to 2) fighting with the oil filter. Someone took your advice and got it "tight enough so that the next person couldn't take it off". I eventually got it off and finished the job. Other than that it was super easy (says the girl that took 2 hours to do an oil change) 😅. Thanks for the awesome content Sleeperdude!

Wow, Josh Congratulations. I know that the new shop will pay big dividends for the channel but more importantly it will be an awesome set of memories shared with you, Tosh and your three beautiful children. These times are so precious and they will be gone before you know it. My wife and I unfortunately lost our son Mason in 2021; he was 22 years old and we treasure the memories we have of the time the Lord gave us together. I really enjoy your videos because you involve your whole family and you all do it together. It actually is comforting to me to see how you all joke with one another because the love shines through and it reminds me of the time I spent with Mason when he was here with us.
