My wife and I love when you sing!!! We love your impromptu "mini concerts" where you just bust out singing or sing along with a band in a bar! You have a beautiful voice!!!
Jen send this to Chris. Rectifier/regulator is causing an overcharging scenario which is wreaking havoc with your atv's electrical system. That would explain why it runs better with the lights on.
Buying a property like this, it’s a good thing your guys are friends with Andrew. He has the equipment and experience to help make it what you want it to be.
I was thinking along similar lines, that most practical use will take some heavy equipment and maybe some environmental permit problems. most of it is too steep to store parts cars except at the top, to which they would have to be towed by an offroad towing machine, or terrace out the space lower down
One thought is build an auto road, rerouted with switchbacks etc so not too steep, in sections to the top, financed by lot sales along the good road, then park your cars on the flat land at the top. trouble though if oil from the cars at the top gets into wells on the lots you sold below, or if the lot is narrow and this forces too many switchbacks. Lots of grading either way though, either road building to the flat land at the top or terracing the bottom, if you want to park parts cars. Might be better to buy land that is part abandoned surface mine and already has terracing and truck access, with trees and homesite on the remaining part, hopefully with somewhere for a clean well.
I think you two are a GREAT team together.. I really enjoy watching you both continue to grow together and also do your own things as well. You have what appears to be a super health relationship and you both provide great content together. Great job on both the narrating and editing Jen(n). Super. I try to leave at least one comment on every video, always, just trying to get that TH-cam algorithm to push your channel up the rankings!!
Hi Jen and Chris I can watch your videos all day long they are so informative and down to earth andI have to say that Jen you are a very pretty lady keep the videos coming please and Gus is such a cool pup I love him
The electronics on these things are SO FUN to work on. Neighbor asked me to change the starter solenoid for him on his King Turd. I thought "how hard can that be?" I found out soon how hard it could be.
The pair of you worked so hard over last few years... You both deserve the perfect home.. and our boy Gus !! Wish you all the best in future finding a piece of land to do something with
Looks like "Coal Country" PA, off the 81 corridor. All of that area should have exactly what you're looking for - quiet, remote, mountainous. Good luck with your search!
U 2 are a great couple...of course, not forgetting the Gus man. I watch many you tube things, and have seen or learned many useful things. Both of you seem very aligned, and that makes for balanced content. Don't change, or like many YT types eventually doing a segment to complain about how hard it is to reply to everyone while hoping to raise money from the patreon side and replying to that side because it pays.....you are sharing your lives around the world...your choice, keep it as is....Best of luck on your hunt for tranquility Jen...
20:27 I really liked that book end narration. Felt like someone reading an old letter of a homesteader finding their new home and writing back to family and friends. Or maybe the final narration in an old western telling us how things turned out after a lot of searching and traveling. Perfect voice for it!
Glad you decided to show this, I live in Wales (UK) and am always interested to see 'real' America, and off-grid retreats, especially with gorgeous Gus.
Wales has some nice views, I've always wanted to visit and do a tour all over the UK, I have seen people by old farms and cottages and fix them up, a lot of history there much older structures, I know a lot of people are moving to Isle of Mann as well for cheaper taxes, it's getting high in Texas as well not far from California prices.
Jen Smart woman there❤❤ You both love the outdoors and Everytime I see you moving 50 things to get into the garage 😂😂 Happy for you both 💗💗 looking forward to seeing great things from you guys ❤️❤️
I love watching you guys, Chris is a mechanic's mechanic, and we all love watching your adventures. I was hoping you would have got the property, campfires and stars would make great short videos. Keep up the good work
Good things come to those who wait, yes kinda a bummer about the second property but y’all will find what your looking for hopefully in time, I like the idea of a second channel, and have been really thinking of doing one myself. My first fourwheeler was the same exact Suzuki king quad like yalls, man I had some good times on that thing!! And they are tough, I beat the living crap outta mine and jumped it like I was a pro motorcross rider😂, it was slow and the suspension bottomed out easy but that thing had super low with diff lock and would pull the gates of hell down haha. C ya on the next vid l8ter
You should maybe consider it. Chris started a second channel early on without any guidance or research on the matter. He just learned the hard way from trial and error that videos that were too off topic didn't do as well. Maybe you might notice this too? But I ended up watching dozens of youtube videos on the matter and found most of them very helpful so I'm glad I did. I turned down e-bike opportunities because they want dedicated videos only. I couldn't put an ebike video on my main channel lol! I was always so envious of Chris' ebike adventures and between you and me that's one thing I'm really looking forward to doing on this channel haha 🤣🤣. I know I made the right choice. I feel a whole new sense of freedom 🥳🥳. And no way, that's cool you had a king quad too! Chris sure beats the heck out of his too lol
@@JenniferSugint2 awww yes the dreaded e bike videos🤣 it’s like who doesn’t want a free e-bike !! But no one wants to put a video of them on their channel haha
Really nice video! I loved the Drone footage , especially the Sunset. I like all of your channels what ever you and Chris make for a video I will definitely be there to watch it and give it a thumbs UP and a comment , or two or three 😁.. Wishing you two all the best in finding the property that you seek. Thanks for taking us along and of course thumbs UP!! 👍💯
My aunt and uncle had a house built on top of a mountain and it was flat on top large enough to have some cattle on it. they lived there for 50 years. never complained about the road. I think it would make a great place for you two. Nothing like owning your own land.
Hi Jen!, yeah good thankyou, bet u can't wait to live out in the woods, I'd love that being good with my hands🪚🔨🪵😄certainly will keep u fit on them hillsides😍hope it all works out👌
This video was a nice respite from the usual junk cars and such. Even Gus enjoyed the trek and discoveries. I could even smell the fresh, cool air and feel the crunch of dry leaves under your feet(s). Great job, folks...
Love this couples attitude & skill set . Chris’s skills are quite outstanding, so very cool. Best on You Tube and the views show that it’s a favourite🇨🇦🇺🇸
I had opportunity to visit your great state back in 2002. I was in Hazelton for some training but my buddy and i would spend the evenings travelling as far as we could in all directions. Pocono mountains, Hershey and many other places too. It reminds a lot of the Blue Ridge mountains in my home state of Georgia. I hope you guys find what you're looking for because there's nothing like the mountains, rivers, streams and wildlife and not to forget about the peace and quiet 😊
Expressing yourself is good love the vid, got a friend who lives on a mountain top surrounded by trees in Tennessee he loves it but being high up, lighting strikes wind and snow plus falling trees keeps him busy!!❤😊
It was really cool exploring properties with you guys, and Gus. You got some really excellent drone footage. I'm sure the right spot will come along 👍✌️🇺🇲
Video was awesome love the views of the properties you looked at. The thing i liked the most was the closer to your video. You told us you made an offer and it was out bided. I wish all of the videos you and your husband did had closer to them. Tell us if you sell to stuff you worked on, for how much and if you didn’t sell it.
Love both of your video's , Wife and I lived in Easton ( Forks ) for like 3 years and never took the time to hike any of those rolling hills, Thanks for sharing
That 2nd property would make a great Bug-out location. When Chris mentioned 10 to 15K, I was thinking for just the property, ya. But it had that cabin 5K, the gate 1K, and the shipping container 3 to 4K. I could see that property selling for 25K to 28K. Anyway, thank you for taking us along. I would love to see you both get a property. That allows Chris to park some projects. That would be great for both of your houses. Lol
Dude...the property isn't 10-15k. You are very out of touch with land prices. Like very... :-). They were talking about the amount of money they were going to offer over asking. My guess is it's in the neighborhood of $200,000 - $250,000.
@subaru8548 okay, so my property in Tennessee of 34 acres that I paid 21K for and 27 acres up in Maine for 14K. So ya, some properties do go for low prices. So I might have missed heard the pricing in the video. Thanks for the clarification.
Cool idea, seems you want something very rustic and starting from scratch. You two are younger and have time to build it up. We hope to find a place perhaps in New Hampshire for our retirement. Do need a house with electricity and at least septic and well. It will be a full time residence. Maybe 8-10 acres. Guess we will see. Good luck with your search!
Thanks for taking us along on the land tours...looks like some nice country around there (some of my family was from the Lancaster/Lebanon area)! Best wishes for the continued search; I've been enjoying the adventures of you, Chris, and Gus-Man!
Hi Jen and Chris. Love all your channels. As you went through the dilapidated Lehigh Tunnel I’m wondering how far north you were looking? I’m just south of Wilkes Barre and there are beautiful mountains in Pa.
Hi Jen, Congratulations on you being in a family way. Glad you have your own channel and take on the projects you do on your own with just advice and recommendations from your baby daddy 😄
Great video Jennifer, I like the mishmash of whatever you feel is worthy information about you, or you and Chris, it's entertainment for us, and we're thankful for the editing time, and appreciate the time you put in doing so. WAY over here on the west coast of Canada in British Columbia, interestingly, after seeing this video, some areas here are no different, with deciduous trees awaiting Spring for the buds then leaves on the trees. I like the touch of showing some drone footage too, much appreciated. I've done a ton of ATVing, and my wife & I both have our own, hers is a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and mine is a Can Am 650 'two up' (made for two riders) which have been awesome quads. We're now thinking, after a couple decades or more of atving, of which I use to hunt up along the Alaska Highway some years back..well, we don't do so any more, so it may be time for the quads to go, but with a ton of great memories, as we use to belong to an ATV club, so the socialization was great as well. So, looking for a chunk of land are ya....room for what...6 or 7 kids, a dog and cat, and a busy life? lol. The very best to you both, and I like Chris's haircut...looks good on him!! Oh, haven't heard you sing for a while, so perhaps you could fit some of that in a video as well. Thanks so much!
great idea finding a mountain getaway. In this hussle and bussle world you need a place to unwind and refresh. I just subscribed to this channel as well as the other one. Thanks for letting us ride along.
Enjoyed watching your trips up and down the mountains; made me reflect of where I grew in Upstate NY with the Catskilks nearly and our nearest neighbor a mile away. We used to get bussed into school 15 miles each way. Our house had just over 100 acres and our own 60 yard ball 🏈 field, good times ~ keep looking and you'll find that place 👍
Good luck on your property search! My wife and I bought mountain property and we never regretted it. Life changed and my oldest son needed to be closer to services so we moved into the suburbs. We didn't last, we ended up moving to the country (foothills) on a dozen acres but only 30min from work and the city. Living in the mountains informed our later decisions. If you find a property you love, go for it, you won't regret it even if it isn't a forever purchase.
The right place will come up and when you least expect it and it will be perfect. I am sure if you manifest it. It happened with us, looking for ages, almost gave up, then suddenly the perfect piece of woodland came up within budget, location, with a stream, flat, accessible etc. (although in England where we are, they cost a lot more). Keep up all the content on all your channels, and of course keep Gus !
That’s awesome to hear thanks! I’m liking that I can post whatever I feel like on this channel. It’s been a great feeling knowing I can share different types of videos.
Oh my God that looks fun 😅a new property To explore That Big Dodge looks like the funnest part of crawling in.. Very cool looking property it looks secluded
We are into February of 2024 and you guys have continued to post great stuff on your channels this year… keep them post coming Jen and Chris … not forgetting Gus and Turbo ❤❤
I appreciate you both agreeing to post these clips! It was fun to come along for the adventure. Also thanks for explaining what this channel will be about - I was indeed a bit confused. I look forward to the spontaneity of Sugient 2. Spontaneous Sugient? Haha!
hahah I love the name. Maybe I'll give that some thought 😉. And glad to clear up the purpose of this channel. A lot of people have been asking why 2 channels.
@ 5 mins in i'm sure gus nodded his head when jen asked him if he's ok 🙃i wish you both the very best and hope you have your'e offer excepted....good times ahead
Just found out, about you guys. As a mechanic, that grew with my dad, fixing so many cars, I get so excited when you guys buy and old sitting car. Love your channel also!!
So glad to hear it! Thanks for checking out our videos. It’s cool you worked on cars with your dad growing up. If you like old junkers being resurrected you definitely will enjoy Chris’s videos on NNKH. Have a great day 😁
This is cool I was casually looking at that second property also. I didn't get a chance to drive out to see it. I figured it was steep from the pictures and location but your video did a wonderful job showing the access. I thought the cabin showed promise and I really liked the shipping container at the bottom of the entrance. Best of luck on your search for property.
My wife and I enjoy both of your videos and we love Gus
Thank you to you and your wife! I'll give Gus a pet for you guys lol
I think your battery being bad is causing your issues. I had an old moped years ago that actually used the halogen headlight as a voltage regulator.
Everyone loves Gus
Was that Nantucket lake ?

It happened with us, looking for ages, almost gave up, then suddenly the perfect piece of woodland came up within budget, location, with a stream, flat, accessible etc. (although in England where we are, they cost a lot more). Keep up all the content on all your channels, and of course keep Gus !
I actually prefer this channel of yours..tidbits are fun! Tks for posting 😊
That’s awesome to hear thanks! I’m liking that I can post whatever I feel like on this channel. It’s been a great feeling knowing I can share different types of videos.
Loved the video Jen, keep it up and good luck on your property search👍🏻👍🏻🏴🇬🇧

Chris always has the best drone shots on all of TH-cam
I agree. He's great with the drone!
Great to catch a glimpse in the day!
That’s great Good Luck !!!
I would think that a property more user friendly would be in order. Especially during the winter months. Good luck on your hunt! Cheers!
Thats soooo awesome!!!!!!!! Hope things work out for you, Chris, Gus man and Turbo!!
Thanks for posting this...another Great Adventure...keep em coming....
