  • Dwayne Haskins was a prodigy from a young age and after a record breaking year at Ohio State, he was supposed to be the franchise QB of the Washington Redskins/Football Team, but after two years it looks like his promising football career may be coming to an end. Enjoy!
    Today we will look at some guys who I think will be future College Football superstars. I will talk about who they are, their college career and why they have so much potential. Enjoy!

    • @r.williamcomm7693
      @r.williamcomm7693 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan M. It put Burrow in position to start for 2 years & be the #1 pick in the draft & avoided questions that Ohio’s system is so superior at winning that the QB doesn’t have to fully develop....like Dwayne Haskins throwing 50 TDs, winning a championship & falling to 15th because he wasn’t really ready after only starting for one year. Honestly I have concerns about Trevor Lawrence. He has pro talent all around him so what’s he going to do when the defense is as good or better than the offense?

    • @r.williamcomm7693
      @r.williamcomm7693 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ryan M. Also, I wasn’t cutting down Ohio State as an excellent team. They are top notch. But sometimes it’s hard to evaluate QBs who have the best team around them. Especially when they’re too draft picks going to bad NFL teams. In 1983 Dan Marino benefitted from going to to the Dolphins who had just lost the Super Bowl a couple of months earlier.

    Not an Ohio state fan but watching him in college really made me think he was a sure fire franchise quarterback unlike so many others. I thought he was really fluid as a QB and could play in any system and was really the first Ohio state QB that didn’t win games with his legs. He would just throw beautiful balls all across the field and it was awesome to see. His Michigan wasn’t too impressive as it was mainly drag and 5 yard in an out routes vs man coverage but TCU, Washington, and northwestern were games where I thought he was amazing. Guys like Hurts are the ones you would think have no shot not Haskins.

    first I would like to say, I hope he gets another opportunity to play in the NFL. He has some talent however he needs the time behind a really good QB to help him with his skill set. I also believe that he came into the NFL way to early and needed more time in college to develop his skill set before jumping into the NFL. He also needs to mature as person as the money went to his head, with everything going on in 2020 I was hoping he would take the time to develop and learn from Ron, over this did not happen. Twice breaking the COVID 19 protocols of the NFL and with a New Head Coach who was going through his own fight with cancer he needed to be more mindful of what he was doing. I also believe being a home town kid and possible hero to some of his friends this got into his head and forgot what he had down high school and college to prepare for games. I wish him success in the future.

    I have a feeling that maybe the patriots could pick him up or maybe the Steelers and then on the patriots he could compete for the starter and bill makes a Star out of him or In Pittsburg he sits behind Big Ben and Starts when he retires

    Do tate Martell. I'm from Las Vegas and I was hearing that Tate was going to be next big thing in college coming out of Bishop Gorman. The next Manziel but he can't even win a starting quarterback job. He couldn't even beat Dwayne Haskins.

    A leg injury happen. I believe he was draft to be develop as the QB of the future. However, he found himself in the trenches trying to do the impossible. In addition, he was named the team starter, though coaches must have known he was not ready. I know Haskins have many character flaws, but this situation was not totally his fault.

    Got drafted into a bad situation, three head coaches in two years, bad o-line play, best receiver was a rookie who was just one of many good receivers at Ohio State --then he made it worse by making a bunch of stupid choices off the field

    "Get him back to the player he used to be"
    ... when was he ever a good player at the professional level? dude is an immature, and prideful bust. he's never been a good NFL qb. Daniel Jones isn't great, but the Giants definitely made the right choice in avoiding Haskins

    It was obvious to me Dwayne Haskins would wash out, when at the draft, he laughed at the Giants for picking Daniel Jones. He had an expression of entitlement even though he had yet to really prove or earn anything.

    He's gonna have to take the Bridgewater route (albeit for very different reasons) He'll have to find a role as a backup/third stringer for some time and learn, work, and grow as a player. If that goes well he can work himself into a starter for that team or find a starting opportunity elsewhere. He has the talent to be a successful NFL quarterback but his complete lack of maturity and awareness ruined his time in Washington. I hope he learns from this and finds success elsewhere

    It's simple. He was too inexperienced. He had one terrific year on a loaded OSU team. Between high school and the pros he never had to learn to adjust and adapt. He should have stayed at least another year at OSU. Ugly wins make champions.

    I can’t stand this situation. From a fans perspective it just seems like there is more to the story internally. I know and understand Haskins hasn’t produced but damn cmon. This young man hasn’t had a supportive foundation from the get go. I don’t know what rookie if any would of succeeded in this environment or circumstances. Starting from last year. Gruden was a bag of shit for putting Haskins in the 1st time last year. He purposely set him up for failure to prove a point. Still Haskins showed so much improvement towards the end of the season. With a circus as a distraction. Then this season starts and new everything. Completely started all over. Then Rivera was sending mixed signals ever since he took the job. Haskins pushed himself in the off-season. Rivera brings his old ragged back up with him. Never really showed he had Haskins back much less confidence in him. Then one second it’s he my guy rain hail sleet snow. Boom 3rd string. Well you know what a bunch of shit and a way to mess up a young kids mental. He was supposed to produce with what. The line was horrible and he had a 1 whole weapon. Unfortunately the magical chairs for qbs always leaves us standing looking around like 👍🏻. I get it. Haskins did something stupid and immature. Then he should of been cut. Not well let’s see 1st. We need this guy cause Alex 1/2 a leg going on 41 yrs old ain’t gonna be able to play so yeah keep Haskins cause of this pointless playoff push. Oh shucks we lost and it’s all on Haskins again. Plus some other practice scrub looked functional during GARBAGE TIME. So then cut Haskins. What a perfect display of showing what little class as a coach and organization they have. Ron has done some good things but I totally can’t stomach the way this Haskins ordeal has played out. Is there fault for Haskins to be accountable for? Absolutely. To cut him after the game? What quarterback on this roster shined so much this season? Yes we won w/Alex but guess what? He is a 20 year veteran and at his best has been barely above average and has much better supporting cast. How long did it take him to become even just okay? Boggles my mind that every single person is saying the same shit. Well Haskins this and Haskins that. I’m sorry I just don’t see it the way everybody else is. Best to you Haskins I believe you still have a bright future and your better off getting away from this situation.

    The real problem with Dwayne Haskins is that he is Dwayne Haskins. He had no intention of having a career in the NFL. His plan all along was to get his money and then assclown himself into retirement as a millionaire.
