When he was dominant in college
I don’t really have one. But today has taught me, he left his mark in Ohio State history as a Buckeye legend. 2008, he said he wanted to play at OSU. 2018, he was the starting QB at OSU and went off on defenses.

His story was amazing, the ending was tragic. As a believer in God, I hope nobody cries when I die as it’s only an amount of time that I’ll be gone. As a Buckeye fan I nearly cried and I didn’t know him, nor have I ever cried from a celebrity dying. Hopefully his family is okay.
As a fellow Buckeye fan, I just could not and did not want to believe the news. It was stunning and awful to hear Dwayne Haskins passed away, especially this early.

I didn’t and couldn’t believe the news. I was just stunning and spent the day going back in time to 2018 and watch his lone season that’s just legendary in Ohio State lore. 4,831 yards passing, 50 touchdowns - both Ohio State season records. 7 days from now is the Ohio State Spring Game. I hope they honor and celebrate the legacy of Dwayne Haskins. R.I.P. No. 7 and thank you for a memorable 2018 season.
You know Ryan Day will, he was QB coach at the time. He's already made a good statement. #7 will be on everyone's helmet.

Haskins was born to be a Buckeye. Wanted to play at osu since he was a little kid and he made it and was a start there. Sure he didn’t have a great nfl career but he finally appeared to have eliminated the outside issues and he found his drive again. It’s a shame if the timing. Dude was finally about to get his legitimate shot. God bless Dwayne RIP.

Its a tragedy to see someone so young pass away. Over last year I feel like he matured from a boy into an adult. He worked harder than ever for the Steelers (some statements from coaches are very positive), and he was at a training camp organized by another qb with the players. He made mistakes when he was younger, but he learned from them and improved himself. It is not fair that someone so young that worked hard to become better has lost their life before they could prove themselves. This guy is was only 1 year older than one of the top qb prospects of this draft.....
Also to be honest most people I know would have made a lot dumber mistakes if they got paid 1st round qb money, and I work in financial field.
What I am trying to say is that we will never get to see what kind of a person he could have become. I feel terrible for his wife and family. RIP Dwayne Haskins

Dwayne accomplished so many dreams in such a short life span, if he was told as a kid on his visit to Ohio State that he was going to pass away so young I’d like to think that this path is the path he would’ve been most proud of and happiest taking, rest easy Haskins

I understand it’s tempting to grab that big draft money after a good year when you’re eligible but.. I think most people would actually be better off in the long run staying in school for that senior year. Dwayne and Fields both should’ve stayed for their last year to fine tune their game.

Haskins did not struggle at Washington. He was not wanted by the coaching staff. The Front office wanted him, but the coaching staff didn't and they purposefully tanked him to get rid of him.
